And you can just see how much he's enjoying himself! Yes, man! Shout out to him and especially the person who had the eye to see his potential. Excellent👌💥
That was the most insane thing I've ever heard. Guy tries to say something controversial every time he opens his mouth. This is also why the media thought he was a clown. I still remember him saying "Ruan Pienaar is the Tiger Woods of rugby".
Pdiv's lack of leadership led to the 2007 group ultimately underachieving. Pdiv didn't have the nous nor status to shepherd in the next generation and left Heynecke Meyer a shell of a squad which meant as fans we had to endure an interminable amount of underperformance. Rassie on the other hand could be kidnapped by space aliens and he would leave behind a stronger Bok squad than when was appointed every week of his tenure he has ensured that Bok depth, knowhow and future is better than it was the week before. Pdiv should never have held the position of Bok coach and his career post his Bok tenure proves it. The only reason we beat the Lions back then was because he was gifted a supremely talented squad that he had no part in putting together.

Another solid show from the boys, appreciate the fair critiques and hats off. So pleased that Jean flagged the WHINING from ABs (shall we talk about TJP?!) including the freaking water boy. Not a good look from ABs.

Great video. What I want to know is why doesn’t the ref let the teams know what his triggers are before the match to ensure a more free flowing game. It’s like they have to learn on the job.
Just a small correction, in his coverage with Supersport before the match Jean correctly said that the stadium was built for the 2010 Soccer World Cup, he then said that it has since become a rugby stadium - not true, while it is the home stadium for Stormers/ WP it is also the home stadium for Cape Town City, it also hosts other sporting codes as well as concerts. In fact, if you look at the stadium it is more for a socccer stadium due to how far the spectators are from the field of play (at the time of construction it was built exclusively for soccer). Rugby stadiums (see Newlands, Kings Park) are typically closer to the action and as such are almost always rectangular whereas soccer stadiums can also be oval or circular.
Pollard was fouled. He was not jumping into the tackle as he did not have position of the ball. He was jumping to recieve the ball. The same as jumping to recieve the ball after a kick.
The Haka is awesome, it adds a lot of intensity to the game. It's a slippery slope we're already on. I saw a video of someone throwing a beer at an NZ Player in the stadium. The arrogance and lack of class from some of our fans is abhorrent.
@@mjribes Yes, exactly that. We've done it for decades, why is it suddenly a problem? Respect costs nothing. I couldnt give a toss about their crying, we are better than that
I thought the ref was MUCH harsher on the Boks not rolling away than the ABs. The AB tacklers could linger while their jacklers had a go, but if our jacklers even had a chance ata turnover then our tacklers were pinged (even if there was no physical way possible for them to have moved out of the way more quickly). You could see it in the stats with the Boks getting like 13 penalties - they hardly ever concede this many penalties. I saw it as a very one sided penalty count.

My first question is; where is Flannery? Our defence seems to be getting more scattergun and chaotic by the game. What is his role? 2nd is; our handling seems to get worse every game we play. It’s infuriating! And at THIS level. Surely this is coached into a team? Brown? We should be getting more clinical every game instead we’re getting more messy
12:20 thats the point Zels is making and is maths. Tonyball and ruck security cannot coexist. You either strip down the ruck for play options or you keep it tight and secure.
Very hurtful to watch. Boks are getting turned with ease. The ABs of old actually chose to somewhat but not outright, neglected the scrum as they wanted quicker cleaners for their game. For us it just won't work unless we get FAST AND POWERFUL front rows.
There is too much focus by cleaners on trying to move the jacklers entire body back, rather than severing the connection between their body and the ball. For example by pulling their arms off or pulling them off their feet. Pulling arms off is more effective as their body blocks other jacklers from competing.
Everyone one of the penalties against us for holding on an AB was in the way, the tackle off the ball in front of Carley was a massive miss, then the Damian on again the AB 5 was in the way so Ox ran around he should have stepped over him and tripped to draw attention to the player being on the wrong side. 🤦🏼♂️ even in the kick off return the no 20 AB put his body in the way of the clean out. We have to clean the all black player and not wait for them to get out of the way. We were too polite waiting for the ABs to move just make them part of the cleanup and the ref will see they were in the way.
