In conclusion Prof you found Z=2, and you concluded that the system is unstable because there are two poles on the right hand side of the s-plane, I think you meant there are two zeros on the right hand side (RHS) of the s-plane, is that correct?

In conclusion Prof you found Z=2, and you concluded that the system is unstable because there are two poles on the right hand side of the s-plane, I think you meant there are two zeros on the right hand side (RHS) of the s-plane, is that correct?

@@erickiplimo zeroes of an open loop transfer function is actually are the poles of a closed loop function since numerator becomes the denominator. That's why it may be reffered differently in books.

Everything is absolutely fantastic but Im having one doubt from previous vdos thought it would be cleared here but it didn't .so we are saying if cl.loop poles on rhp or z value is 2 then unstable?or if z is 1...we say it unstable...then when will we say stable???

In denominator, we have j^2 = -1
why does the contour looks like that, why ist (0,0) excluded
not clear. we know Z = zero. P = poles . why it is different here. again putting - 180 deg it will be in opposite as you mentioned. that is + 180 deg . or - 0 deg . pl check. yr explananation ambiguous. sorry.

One can say real and imaginary axis. You might be reading from a book which has notations as per you mentioned but this ones are also correct.
