I was fortunate to see a live performance of Rawlings & Welch in 2011 and hear this version from them of White Rabbit. No question it was extremely well done and a real tribute to a great classic for many of us. Teenagers too young to go into a club on Fillmore St. in S. F. in 1967... my best friend and I heard one of the most amazing rock songs we had ever heard from outside. We knew Jefferson Airplane was going to hit it big.

Very good yes but not better than the original. The build up in the original is more pronounced and Grace Slick in her prime was fantastic.
