hey i was watching mago vs goichi and saw a really nasty v trigger mixup, he does rekka into nothing, then does cr mk rekka, because people hold up expecting the overhead version, its so good, it won me a few games.

This doesn't seem very solid. If it's trading with a 3frame jab then it isn't hitting meaty. Not to mention if it isn't hitting meaty then you will be at a frame disadvantage or at the very best 0 if they block on normal wake upOn back tech even if it does hit meaty and you are +3 or so, they are now so far that you can't properly follow up on itThe juggles on trades are cool though

this setup is designed for specific uses. if an opponent keeps mashing jab after you sweep them, this is a way to gain v meter and get a trade combo, if they keep doing back getup, use this to get frame advantage and chase down. if they keep doing normal getup you can cancel it into v trigger for frame advantage or just dash into a normal meaty. and ino its not meaty against normal wakeup but it is against the other 2

Good video, but if this setup is trading it's not really hitting meaty huh?

technically yes, but if they back getup or no getup it hits very meaty. also if it trades you get more damage then if it actually was meaty. you're right in terms of normal getup though
