You may not have the viewers as some of the others but your content is great. I watch to see you and your dad working together. Tell Uncle Jeff we like to see him too.
The "Cole comedy hour!" Funny stuff. I think the guy who designed that oil and filter location.. never changed a filter or drained the oil. On anything.
LOL.......oil change footage. You do read all the comments ,that's one of the reasons I watch this channel. Oh BTW Ellie cracks me up,she's the best 👍👍.
I'd like to say I enjoy your videos tremendously. You allow this old woman to dream about what could of been. Closest I got to being on a farm or ranch was the farm across the street from out house with horses and one lonely old bull named sancho who we fed the grass clippings to. So thank you for making my days better.
Im sure you checked it but just incase you forgot, you might want to check the wiring in the barn where we had the accident with the skid steer. A damaged wire in a barn filled with dry bedding is not a good mix
@@scottulbrich5376 Wow, really? I just saw Brian and Cole on Saturday and bought a bull for my heifers. It'd be pretty hard to have cattle in the city, but maybe you know better? 🤣
Thanks for another great video Cole. It was interesting and enjoyable. Good luck on selling your cattle in couple of days I believe you said. Hoping you get a good price on them. Good job Cole. October more beef to Iowa for selling to us viewers. That sounds great. I missed the last bunch but am told the beef was delicious. That snow you are getting is really wet. Makes for a sloppy mess. The filter on those small John Deere engines is hard to replace. Thank goodness it is a small one and only hand tight. Fresh oil in the gator-yeah. Really like that calf carrier on the back of the gator. Thanks for everything Cole and Brian. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Glad you are getting some springtime moisture. It will all be needed for planting, fertilizing, growing, and harvesting your crops. Moisture has been sparse so we can use every bit we can get.
Ellie was giving Cole a great big dog kiss today, how precious. Glad these farmer-ranchers work in this cold weather or we wouldn't have any great big beautiful beef!
I love the way Cole lets Miss Ellie out in the morning. Cole use a broom to clean your truck lol there was no ice for the scraper. Oh I wanted the Hereford calf to be red like it’s mommy. Cole it is so great the way you treat your cows and calves. I have seen guys on these videos kick a cow before. Thanks for being good to your animals and you to Mr. Brian.
Hahahahahaha, I love watching. Look forward to the last 30 second blips you put on the end. How'd the little weak clave do? Hopin' better. Look forward to seein' Jeff, funny man he is. You all have a great day. Hope for more moisture
I love to see oil changes. Cole is always on the ground and Brian is handling him things. Only thing better would be Cole getting mad at Brian for not holding the light right. Only for him to have too much respect to yell at him! HOLD IT HERE!
We are scheduled for similar weather starting tonight. Our ground has started to thaw so heavy wet snow is better than rain at this time of year. As the snow melts it can soak into the ground slowly instead of heavy rain simply running off due to semi-frozen ground conditions. I am not a farmer so can't speak for the local farmers but I am an avid gardener and it is helpful for my gardens.
I love to see the snow falling. That’s something we never get to experience here in Brisbane Australia, only south of us in New South Wales and Victoria.
Now thats a snow fall - big fat flakes that pile up quick. I look forward to you posting - love farm/ranch videos. I was small town Pa. dairy farm - retired now and enjoying someone else doing farming chores - lol.
Tiffany never mentioned anything about you having huge biceps, and I've never seen any on you. 🙃 Kool video, never gets old watching you or your dad working around the farm. I'm sure you'll be enjoying the spring weather once it warms up and you can get back into the fields. 🚜🚜🚜
4:12 I have done many oil changes in my life and I never thought to lube the gasket on the filter like this. Thanks! I am going to do that going forward.
I just love that Hereford calf, just as cute as a peanut and what a great mom! She needs a special name for sure. Glad for the moisture, to bad it came as wet snow. God bless and be safe. Cole remember don't but your back to the mama cows she may come a push you !!
That board you hit is lightly loaded but very important. It keeps the trusses parallel and straight to the vertical. Focusses the loads where they are best resolved. Its the right thiung to repair it.
Hire Mike OWL as a consultant to brand, process, label and ship beef. Coop with Farmer Grade and your dad to finish staggered trailer loads. Its still Sonne beef. Now the finished steers and open cows pluse the fertilizer value are worth the shipping fee.
love the vid cole. you know seeing you carring that calf reminded me of what i did this weekend we had a calf that legs joints were messed up and i had to carry the calf thru trees and try not to fall but we are hoping she will live but the calf is taking a bottle now. have a great day you guys looks line a winter wonderland ther.
I would be excited for summer already. Wet and heavy. A little tough on the calves today but later on the hay and corn hopefully make up for that. You are due for great crops.
I just injured my shoulder few days ago trying to take that filter off. I heard the same cracking in my shoulder when I was straining. Deere makes a filter wrench that attaches to a 1/2" rachet that fits the filter. Got me one and all is good now. 😁
That slushy stuff was the worst part of living in the snow country (ND & Albuquerque). But hey, lots of love for the fields! (I do remember those big flakes!)
Great episode, I loved it! Glad that was a wet snow, the ground could use it I'm sure, hope it soaks in weather allowing and it sounds like it should. Those were some big flakes coming down. Those oil filters can be a pain if you don't follow the 1/2 to 3/4 turn tightening recommendation after contact with the seal. My dad always wanted tighter back in the day, and it always made removal that much harder the next time out. He saw leaks on things back then was the reason why I guess, you get what you pay for; might be the same now days though.
Sure would be nice to see y’all have some good hay this year after last year, snowflakes that size is what my dad use to call horse feathers🤣take care and God Bless fellers🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Nice that you all got some precip there. The black and white face calf looks like my first bull, it was a bottle calf for the kids in 4H back in the 90's. Good luck on your calf sale, hope you do good. Have a nice evening!
Hey, great job today, Cole. Good job Mr. Brian. Always need to give a little bit of support to old Brokenwood for sure. Glad to hear about the meat sale coming up in October I missed it last year. I am certainly going to be keeping a closer eye to it would love to try some of your steaks for sure.great to see all the moisture that’s for sure and I noticed in one of the comments about the calf that went to the veterinarian is it doing OK? Peace out gentleman have a great one.
Take your owners manual keep track of your hours when you change write down the size of all the different bolts/nuts you have to take out especially with all the changes. What happened to the calf you took to the veterinarian? Great to see the moisture
Any update on the calf?
Sitting in the hospital after heart attack watching all the videos keeping me going thank guy keep it up
You may not have the viewers as some of the others but your content is great. I watch to see you and your dad working together. Tell Uncle Jeff we like to see him too.
The weather outside is frightful,
But the Spring grass will be delightful.
I've never seen your calf-holder before! What a contraption! Don't you think it needs a seat belt?Certainly keeps mama's eye on the prize!😄💕💕
In Colorado, we called that warm snow. The bigger the flakes the warmer the weather.
Cincinnati, Ohio, seen snow almost every year, never noticed that !
@@currentfaves65 the colder it is the smaller the flakes. It's usually windier as well and causes hard drifts

Hereford/Angus cross make exceptional cows. Steers and heifers for market. Gorgeous Bronco face baby.
bronco faced, hahaha city person

Praise God for good moisture and good temps. Great.video.
It looks pretty cold with all that snow but I hope that moisture really helps all your future crops ! 🤞

Really love your videos. Im an old cripple up cowboy and I live through these video's.
That sure was a good looking Hereford cow😂
🎉we just had our first baby cow ! Super excited but our Temps are 103 today so no cold...just real hot ! Stay warm 8:03

not a farmer nor cattle raising but i do appreciate for all that all of you do.
Noticed Cole's sweatshirt - Psalm 18 is one of my favorites
Thanks for the video !
Aww LOVE the unique white markings on that calf's face! Precious! 💕💕
Hallelujah for moisture...❤️🇨🇦🙏

Another name to add to your list, Prissy. Love your videos. Keep them coming. We never get snow here. ❤❤❤
The snow-covered bales remind me of a giant frosted cinnamon roll ! 🤤
I wish the bakery was closer home.
Prayers!😊
Those great big flakes are moisture bombs for sure. Six inches of that stuff should make any farmer smile.😃

Lol. I thought I was the only one that enjoyed making ditches in mud and snow to let water drain away. 😂. 42 and I still enjoy it.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO Cole and Brian 😊

Hello Cole! What ever happened to “Oh Mylanta!” I just loved that expression as I am a retired pharmacist. We both speak the same lingo.❤
CC so often gives me a giggle "Simmenthal" isn't in its vocabulary 😂💕💕
A lot of figuring goes on ditching but is pleasurable to see the water flow. Nice and dry and no ponds. Good way to spend the afternoon.
Good looking Baldy cafe we raised a few of them and they brought good prices plus made good hamburgers
Nice wet snow that’s a good one to soak that fertilizer into the ground 👍
Great snow/moisture. That will soak in better than a rain. Great video.
I’m sick of your snow. Haha you have such a positive attitude and you’re right
I would be excited for summer already. Wet and heavy. A little tough on the calves today but later on the hay and corn hopefully make up for that. You are due for great crops.
Ditchin' together, such a guy thing!
We had 81 degrees yesterday was so nice.
Here in indiana we're discing and getting ready to plant. We're in the 70's getting ready to push low 80's and a lot of rain.
Ditching is FUN!
I did the same thing with a loader and broke a 2x4 and then did the same repair by screwing another one to it.
1920's song 'Its a Marshmallow World' was made into a Chrismas song along the way...but the orginal is a good snowy day song. Jo Stafford is great.
86 In Indiana today, man I see that snow and think to my self better you then me. LOL....
Beautiful calve glad you are getting some wet heavy snow. Good video

Cute little calf. Wet snow is great for the moisture content, rain would be better but when your farming any moisture is good moisture.

Great job keep up the great work. Very impressive.

All good!
West Coast snow Cole, or Sierra Cement as we called it, wet and heavy.
Yeah we made it to spring, it was 93 yesterday.
Reminds me- i have to change oil in the log splitter!
Oh you might get some good rain tonight
