- Cole Sonne is a fourth generation farmer living in South-Eastern South Dakota. Cole and his dad Brian raise Black Angus Cattle while also growing alfalfa, grass hay, corn, and soybeans. Cole and Brian are also successful Farm UA-camrs. Their channel is closing in on 300K Subscribers and are one of the new up and coming stars in the Farm UA-cam space.

People watch these videos A LOT because everything else out there for them is discouraging, stressful, and destructive. Me for example, I spent my youth in small town USA Montana and then had to moved to the west coast.
It discouraging to live here compared to that. I went on to a career in law enforcement, working in and with the cesspool of the world. I need to see God’s Country, God’s goodness, and the people that live that life. I need the hope it gives me and the memories of it.
That is valuable right there!
Sonne Farms has allowed me to live the farm life vicariously. I especially like the videos related to the cattle operation. I grew up on a beef cattle farm, and had my own herd of registered charolais as an adult for many years. I miss that way of life almost every day, but Sonne Farms' videos allow me to relive those positive experiences in a fun and informative way. The interaction between, and mutual respect for each other, that is present between Cole and Brian is admirable. Keep up the good work!

I have been subscribed to Sonne Farms almost since the beginning and I am not a farmer. I have watched most of their vlogs at least twice just because they are so interesting! I am also a member and would suggest anyone who love to watch them to become a member

Love watching Cole & his dad Brian. Not a rancher or farmer, so always learning from them. One of my Great Grandfathers had a farm and his and many generations had farms in Sweden before coming to American. I was recruited in college before graduating and did 30 years with the same corporation after my other recruitment aka the Draft for 2 years. Like your channel, saw Cole name starting watching it.
True about the click bait & some of the other channels. Sonne Farms is the only farm channel I watch.

--I grew up in Iowa ... and farmers, ranchers, most of them really are good stewards of the land, animals, and their machinery ... and they really are the salt of the earth people ... and people really are getting tired of all the trash on TV. my 2cents.

Just checked the numbers on Red E Ag. Cole interview watches 30,000 views. Brian interview watches, 12,000 views . That’s the breakdown, there, Brain, heh,heh,heh.
I seen this guy on Millennial Farmer working on a planter of johnson's, that never did get to work.
Some things don't work out like we want always do they? :/ but we did our best. There is another farmer that has it now and he has reached out to us to continue the project so we will see!
