    Thank you for the Finnish Easter traditions, my eldest son is a quarter Finnish. I’ve been sharing what I’ve learned from your videos with him, not telling him where I’ve learned it, he thinks I’m just very smart. 🤫

    1:50 in Italy we have this tradition (not so common anymore though) but with lentils instead of grass

    Willow is a holy/magical tree in folklore. It's used for medicine by healers. It's willow braches because it's a magic, and you're doing a magic spell when wishing good fortune for the coming year. An old pagan custom was to banish evil spirits by waving willow branches at you or in the house while chanting, but Christian church stole the folk tradition tradition and connected it into Easter and thus Jesus and palm branches. And shamans have become witches.

    Why Finnish people so happy...tell us little bit about their silence while talking .....I'm from india...How to get a job in Finland?

    • @Censeo
      @Censeo 3 роки тому +5

      I guess the happiness doesn't come from our culture, but rather the fact that our country is sparse in population, rich, and have a sociocapitalistic policy. As of now, it seems we can both help our poorest and invest in companies that will benefit our economy. This strategy I am sure, is not possible to duplicate for a lot of countries

    • @AL4N22_PELIT
      @AL4N22_PELIT 3 роки тому +2

      I don't think that our economy really affects how happy we are, because you have countries like Canada and the USA and they're but they are not that happy,I think that we are happy because our country is beautiful and not that populated,and because of how people are nice to each other.
