  • From November 11, 1970, Cash remembers Armistice Day with an impassioned, poetry-riddled version of Bob Dylan's immortal "Blowin' In The Wind." I'm not sure if it's weird in a powerful way, or powerful in a weird way, but you'll either love it or you'll hate it.

What a powerful performance ... I've always loved this song sung by Bob Dylan and Joan Baez. This version is so moving and powerful. Johnny Cash had always a way to make songs his own - amazing.

Johnny sang with such ease. You'd tell that he looks like he never even struggled to make it sound good. Very natural gift, amazing voice .

great man, people can learn so much from somebody with a stature & mindset such as Cash's. Powerful yet open-minded, not many more around. Most with power nowadays abuse it. Long live the legacy of J.R. Cash

The value of a man comes from what he can give, not from what he can take or acquire. If only people could own that in their hearts and mind, maybe the world would truly change.

Leslie West does the most emotional version Ive ever heard. Its on youtube. Great accoustic and vocal. But of course Johnny Cash aces the song as well. West, Cash, & Cooke. 3 of the Best.

@jwdundon Think that was his gift. Others like Elvis had their gift in singing while others like Dylan had their gift in writing some of the most amazing songs; but Cash had the ability to never forget from where he came and to convey that in his music-even when he covered someone else's work.

war can only end if everyone thinks alike; shares the same ideals, willing to look past our differences, destroy all greed and hatred, which is impossible. in order to destroy all hatered, you need to destroy all evil. and only God can do this. peace will come on 12/21/12

@DazzerDubai as soon as we recognize that life is free to live on our own personal & comun values that we have, and those who struggle for power, lidership & recognition, we leave them alone, soon or later life will be the way it's meant to be, LIFE, not death. As long as we follow the wrong liders, this will not happen, but the day we leave them alone, their time will be over.

i understand the concept of free will, and its this free will that causes religion to conflict. people to greed and i understand that god judges us by who we are and what we do in life. i also understand this in a way in which i have no slaves, enemies and this is what i made of my life. but was hell not created to put fear into peoples lives? this same fear that makes religions argue? i'm not religious, but respect to those who are!!! but this is the way i see it, time will change.
