In case you don't know, the reason that cable mod stopped producing the 90° adapter for the GPU is because they had a lot of issues with melting adapters so you might wanna consider getting the new improved one.
Any idea when the improved version was released and how to tell the difference. They seem to be out of stock everywhere.
I have been saying that the cable mod adapters would have issues with melting since launch and the cable mod staff just dismisses everything
@@JamesBond-qv2ht Late September from what Jayztwocents was saying in his video.
@@Army-nx9lc But they haven't?? They acknowledged the issues and also will replace the GPU if melting on the 16-Pin 12VHPWR port .
@@johnqsak They're there now on Amazon
That's a real beauty. The custom work on the inside looks phenomenal, and fits in incredibly well with the case's design.
How the 3rd ram Stick wasnt completely seated made my toes cramp🥲😂
same
Beautiful build, sir. I've been impressed with your attention to detail and your aesthetic decisions typically align with my own. So, you're videos are a joy to watch. Thank you.
The RAM on the 2nd slot doesn't seem to be fully in by a mm, bothers me a bit, tho he did try to push it more than the others I believe. Kinda curious what's going on with it.
Bothered me as well
Came to the comments for this, wondered if anyone else noticed. Also wondered if Frank noticed prior to first boot, that could be an easy headache.
yup noticed it as well lol
Instantly started looking for that comment
Yeah, it looks like it is in far enough to make a connection, but it might be a little flaky. I would take it out and reseat it.
Honestly, u made the right choice going with the white non rgb ram, it just looks more clean and simple compared to dominator plats and matches the motherboard very nicely
@@Carloskiee nah, the memory controller probably can't handle much more than 5200mhz with 4 dimms and 128gb of memory. Put a lot of stress on the controller
i'd get the trident than the dominator
@@doisan8218 what
I like my RGB ram in my build with a non-LCD pump waterblock because I was able to set them to give temperature readings with how high the bars are.
I agree, dominator platinum's look way less clean, but you NEED to see dominator titanium. I've got 32 gigs 6600 mghz and it is definitley a noticableperformance jump from vengeance ram. The minimalist look of the is amazing as well, with thin rgb strips on the side that accent it perfectly
Really dig the all-white and focus on RGB reflections instead of an ocean of LEDs. And your white tones match pretty well, I know my friends Corsair fans are a more eggshell color while his Lian Li case has just a touch of blue and it looks super weird
CableMod exchange the 90' adapter due to burn issues, you should absolutely take the RMA for it!
Finally 🙄, YT is actually recommending your video 'shortly after it uploads' ....rather than 5 plus hours later. Maybe the algorithm is finally recovering from its virus.
5 hours? dont u mean 5 days?
Right? I got this on my recommended 25 minutes after upload
For you too!! I forgot this man did videos!!
Even Google recommended it😂
Just activate the notification bell or look in your 'my subscriptions' tab
The finished build turned out amazing! Thank you for choosing our case for your build. Great work 💛
when your cases will come to india? many of us are waiting for them eagerly!!
people are saying y40 temps are bad. I dont know if i want to get one. I have a 7800x3d and a 7900 xt. Will these get too hot?
Never.
Jk@@AniSepherd972
When those cases will be available for India ?
@ 7:49 "now i can bust out my beast" is crazyyyy
Been loosely following your content for years & I just noticed how amazing your logo is. Very cool design. Great pc & video too.
I hope whoever reads this has a happy life.
Thank you, you too!
I ended up grabbing that CPU plate, and it definitely improved my cpu temps. Super impressed!
I love looking at PC build videos. I have been watching you a long time and great build! I love the case.
That frame deal is super interesting, I would have never known. Good stuff man!
Great build! I haven’t had that new PC feeling for 7 years now 😭
The ram doesnt look fully seated in the second slot (second closest to the cpu)
"And it saves a few bucks"
Frank really said that after spending 4k like it's a day's work
7:50
I was listening to this video in the background while doing some creative writing, and I wasn't really paying attention UNTIL HE SAID THAT. You can imagine my relief when i heard he was talking about a 4090, and not something else...
Great looking build Frank ,the problem with licenses can be an real issue when moving software from PC to PC.
dang super sick setup! Well deserved too man! keep it up
Signal RGB is so insanely good, so much effects and you can customize all the effects, Armoury crate which I used before was pretty bad
Such a clean looking build, I just did an all-black build myself. May do an all-white build in the future because of you!
Love to see this content again. I'm going to be frank with you: youtube's vendetta against you worked for me, after a while of not getting notifications from your channel, I kind of gave up on looking for your channel and new videos. Now, I only got a recommendation in the what to watch, but this is more than what youtube did for you in my case, for the better part of 2023.
Really looking forward to seeing you pop up more and more times, Frank!
Weird part: I just checked and realized I have the sub "bell" set to all notifications, which makes this app notification behavior even more crazy.
W Workstation/Gaming PC Frank!
This build is CLEAN. wow
Clean as hell man good stuff
Nice PC Frank! Excited to hear about the GPU temps tbh.
Wow very clean love white builds
Looks fresh Frank. Wonder if an 80mm exhaust fan would fit in the back. Good job.
Thank you for starting those screws with a screwdriver. I work in automotive manufacturing and sometimes someone strips a bolt and MY GROUP has to fix it.
Yo this build looks sick. I think this pyramid gpu stand fits the aesthetic better then the Geodude would have. Also backside fans are tight.
Nice build, I don't think you need an exhaust fan, radiator should be good blowing out.
awesome build man :)
Amazing build Frank! I have the HYTE Y40 and I have yet to move my components in it. You just gave me some great ideas!
l really like the white custom strips and vinyl wrap, it's very classy
Picked up some D30s because of this video. Thanks for the tip!
thats supper clean love it .keep it up your doing a great job love the vids
I'm more for black look for my PC's,but this white build it's amazing, good job.
Expensive video deserves a like, nice pc
I love my all black pc with white RGB but these is an amazing build. Wish the strix gpus weren’t such a premium they are the absolute best looking imo 😢
Holy crap! Just holy crap! That. Is. Beautiful.
This thing looks awesome. I wish I had that much money to spend not only on decent parts but aesthetics. I’m about to build a pc for college with a price point around 1400 dollars and it’s a solid build for my purposes, but it definitely won’t look nearly this cool haha
Great job on your built.
Love your Gaming PC Build
Awesome build!
Love the video and your channel been following long time, had a question though is that prism type 3D-Printed thing available somewhere to buy? or is there something else I can use to prop up the vertically mounted GPU?
Your my fav UA-camr and I love pcs so this video is perfect!
The contact frame is made by Thermal Right not Thermaltake. Easy mistake but I used one when the stock one caused my system not to post.
Long time fan! Was there a reason why not wait for the 14th gen intel processor? I'm looking into replacing my 2019 build. Thanks for this video!
Sure would oike a full solid color build , wish i could spend 4k on a pc I would build lol looks great frank awesome fit hope the file transfers go well.
Looks good bro!
sweet build are you going to change anything else on your desk?
Enjoy your Strix 4090, its an awesome card been using it for 7 months gave it to my brother I settled for Strix 70Ti. From 4k to 2k gaming
Signal RGB is GOATED and literally the best free app out there to sync everything up
Awesome build! How is the whine (if any) on that 4090? Sucks to read that another builder experienced DisplayPort and DirectX 3D rendering issues. That and the inability to benchmark really leaves a bad impression on the company, especially at the current price points.
This pc is so clean!
Fair play this build is 10/10
love your videos man huhu wish i have a pc like that
Frank, FRAAAAANK, you've outdone yourself sir! That PC is beautiful! Congrats on the new rig-
You can fit a custom mini screen in the place of that fan to display different things through walpaper engine.
Very entertaining video, thanks for sharing.
The Hyte Y40 is personally my favorite case so far.
Loving the cpu frame… I think I’ll pick one up. Vertical mount, air cooled gpu that close to the side window. Temps are OK?
Awesome build.
Awesome video once again! How much for that old PC?
super clean 👌🏼
I suggest a 180 degree adapter for the GPU power like I did on mine in a Y40.
Can you do a video on budget monitors?
i have the same case absolutely love it!
Really love the video 🎉
Congratulations 🎉
Beautiful man! I’m Jealous. I have a great system but have had that itch to build a new one Myself. This definitely inspires that.
Could just add a "Thin" White 120 mm fan (several vendors make them) to fit in the upper rear of the case... just a thought!
This is a beautiful build
Beautiful like you said the rear fan exhaust dimensions is a bit of a downfall of this case, hopefully they do a Version 2 of this case la
I have the y40 all black with the 5800x3d and 4090. Yes I could have a faster cpu, but I got it for free with warranty replacement. Paired it with an Enermax aquafusion adv 360 aio all black. Thing is a beauty and a beast
the pyramid sag looks sick
In my Hyte Y 60 case I put the rad in the very top section. putting the rad on top of were you mounted it and then mounted the fans to it from the inside. It gave me the room I needed to mount the exhaust fan.
The reason it doesn't fit is the phanteks d30 fans are 30mm thick unlike regular fans that are 25mm thick.
i was so close buying this case but decided on the Lian LI o11 mini. Dont regret it one bit.
love the unactivated windows. looking good
This is probably my favorite build of yours you’ve done, the wraparound glass look is sick for that setup! Did you consider lapping your CPU too? Since I know the 13900K is hot, can’t imagine KS
i'm looking forward to the day i get to build a pc for my music production, sometimes i feel having everything on a laptop is just not where its at
Once I get out of college can't wait to build something like this.
what a build, im also going for a white look wth the pc i build almost 2 years ago
7:50 amazing
Cleanest build I've ever seen
Would you recommend a cooler that isn't a water-cooling option?
I didn't even know nzxt made a clock update until now lol. Thanks Frank!
Great Build
Reminds me of air conditioning units on rooftops. Im envious.
You can build a functional 4090 with 7800x3D for just $2500 as an amazing starter PC and get even better quality and future proofing if you spend a little bit more or bring your own parts to the party.
Really nice build, I'm not sure when you built your rig' but as of right now pricing went up about $1000. crazy
godDAMN is that clean.
out of the Phanteks D30 Fans and the Lian Li SL infinity fans, what is the better fan? personally i love the SL infinity ones
Im interested in that cooler was it up to par?
Using 5200MT is leaving performance behind. 6000MT ram would be a far better option. Especially for content creation.
It's Thermalright not Thermaltake. Thermalright have been killing it lately.
U can’t run 128gb 6000mhz with XMP on, 5600 only when u got a got imc. If you run 128gb u need to run them jedec speeds.
I got to finish my Hyte Y40 build last month too! I went with the black Y40 and a sapphire nitro 7900xtx paired with a 5800x3D 👌🏻
You should have gotten the R7 7800x3D. Would be even better! AM5 mobo gave gone down in price. :"))
@@andyjoelharper3448 nah I already have the 5800x3D for months. And it is a great upgrade coming from 3500x 🤣
@unholydonuts hell yea! It is by no means a 4090… but it is still a beast on its own 🔥
Man, I love ASRock boards!
