This was a really good video! I enjoyed all your commentary during the build process. One question, did you have to buy that cpu bracket/holder thing separately or did it come with one of the purchased parts?
Thanks bro, you made me a clear mind that a 360mm on the upper side of the case, i have a 280mm and it was difficult to me because of the cables of the CPU, so really amazing video and have a good day!! thanks a lot!!
Thanks 🙏🏾 for this video I’m using this exact case. I started building I’m just waiting on my 4090 GPU and my 2 140 bottom fans everything should be arriving soon
Great vid! I just built in the H6 flow and I thought was super easy for the most part, as long as I planned it out ahead of time. Love the look of this case and it is my 2nd nzxt case to have built in.
Yea I get aftermarket cables that are flat to fit through them slots better. I'd have suggested that route specifically with that case as cable management is a considerable pain for this case. Great video too.
I LOVE YOUR CHANEL FROM TODAY BRO THINGS FROM 3 WEEKS AGO IS LIKE 5K NOW BUT YOU ARE SOOO GOOD AT DOING THIS PLEASE BE UP TO DATE FOR 2K BUILDS thank you
Never seen one of your videos. Im liking so far. I have a question. Im building my first pc and i bought pc part pickers amd magnificent build parts. Im wondering do i have to buy more fans? I bought whatever was in the parts list. Its the next flow case as well. So those 3 intake fans.. 2 fans on the graphics card. 2 fans on the air cooler for the cpu and 1 fan on the power supply.. is that enough??
Having a bit more juice in youre PSU is defenitly reccomended you made the right choice bro ! You do NOT want to have to completley change youre entire PSU just to upgrade youre GPU for example . Why not show the benchmarks tho when you where done ?
@CJKnowsTECH but you used a black PSU 😂 I used the Thermaltake Snow because NZXT doesn't have a white supply yet. I also like their silent switch that keeps the fan off unless the PSU reaches 30% load.
I see you're wearing a unitronic hoodie. What are you driving? I was running a uni tune on my s5 and a7 but switched to ie. I'll be going jackal when Matt gets the e85 squared away for the crec 3.0t. I'm doing a similar build, same cpu and case, but asus rog strix board, psu, and 4080 super.
I had to return my H6 case because my AIO wouldn’t fit with my motherboard. Got the antec performance 1 case instead . My build has a 4080 super with a 7800x3d
Hey CJ amazing build man! I am considering building a pc myself too with the nzxt intel motherboard and also the intel i7 14700k CPU. I put it in pcpartpicker and it says I might need to update the bios so I was wondering if that happened to you during this? Thanks
I have this NZXT motherboard with the Same 14th Gen i7 CPU. However, will the motherboard require a bios flash update since I keep hearing people having issues with the motherboard since they only function with a 12th and 13th Gen cpus. So I'm wondering how he managed to get to work?
Hey CJ. I’m actually planning on doing a build very similar to this. Will I only need 1 NZXT fan/rgb controller if I do the same 9 fan configuration as yours?
There are also 4 NZXT RGB 4-pin connectors on the the N7, two at top and two at bottom. An issue I had was the rounded 3-pin from the RGB controller that goes to a header and has no clip retainer. It doesn't fit tightly and falls off easily. I had to ziptie the wire to another nearby (USB, I think) wire to keep it connected.
I used only the one included controller to do the 3 AIO fans, 3 case fans, and one rear fan. I don't recommend fans on the bottom because they will most likely drive up GPU temps. Something about turbulence inside the case, I think.
I’ve been wanting to upgrade my codex R with a 4060, I was thinking to upgrade to an I7 13700kf, rtx4070, add AIO, 32gb of ram, but I wanna reuse my msi motherboard, I bed this case would be perfect for this build and I just wanna upgrade for VR and just to be safe, opinions?
The only thing I don't like about the white cases that NZXT do is that the wiring that come with it are black, if they were white I think it might be better.
@@CubeEarthTheory If I ever get a pc unless it’s expensive enough for a 4090 there’s no way I’m not getting an AMD card. Like if you can afford a RX 7900XT or XTX then why would you get anything else? lol
Hi, I have a question, I got a laptop which supports NVMe m.2 pcle gen 4 ssd. I currently have 512 gb capacity and i want to upgrade it to 2 tb. Well I was sure that i could do that without any problems but just to make sure i checked with the manufacturer and they told me i can only upgrade to 1 tb capacity . Now i am confused. Is there really a limit to ssd capacity upgrade? Tbh it doesn’t make sense to me. Why a laptop which according to the manufacturer can support a 1 tb ssd cannot support 2 tb ssd of the same gen? I mean i am not trying to put in a gen 5 on a gen 4 slot. It has got me smh and i cant find nothing on the internet to help me
It wouldn't matter as all generations are backward and forward compatible. You can put Gen 4 in Gen 5 slot or Gen 5 in a Gen 4 slot. The speed will be restricted to the lowest Gen. If they have a 1TB limitation, I'd think it's due to their controller.
I straightened out all the white RGB and fan wires from the front fans and put them together flat, and ziptied them about every 3 inches, so I had just two clean cables to work with.
I tried screwing in the fans and it wouldnt go further than 50% of the way the bottom fans and the side fan Edit: Fixed turns out my screwdriver wasnt that strong so it didnt work, fixed it manually great vid
The power supply should be about double what the components max draw is because they operate most efficiently at 50%. How to open boxes without tearing? I call it a knife.
love the video but you dont show exactly where to plug certain things in for people who dont know what you're talking about they will be lost like when you where plugging in the power supply to motherboard you cant see what you're doing that and how much thermal paste you added you just skipped right through that part

I haven't owned any NZXT motherboards yet, but that N7 Z790 looks so clean. Nice build. Love your content.

Did u get the nzxt hub with the case or u had to buy it separately? awesome build btw!!!
Did you added WiFi card
Nice video! Did you have to update the bios for this intel cpu?
How long did this built take to build
Few hours but it took me longer because of filming. But dedicated a few hours to take your time and get it right is the best way to do it
Thx
I’m planing on doing a similar build but with a 4070 super and a Ryzen 7800x3d
literally buying every part in the video and just building it following what you do
Why the Fury SSD for boot instead of the samsung, is there a reason?
Awesome going to do something similar with a 4070!
DO U have a video of this but black and with a amd cpu
can it be paired with other types of 4080?
Yup
The cpu fan has a different connection where else can i put it
Can I build this inside my h7 flow I don't know nothing about computers
I’m guessing yeah because the h7 is slightly bigger but I would still check all of the dimensions
Loved the video!
There's only 1 thing... why... just why did you put black 140mm in the bottom on a white case xD
Easy answer: Those were the ONLY color available at my local Microcenter...and I knew I could change them in the future

Where is the second video?
nice build!! what fan controller hub did you use to control the fans?
One from NZXT
The Cam controller comes with the Kraken 360 AIO.
With the fans in exhaust against the aio will it not be pushing the warm air into your aio or does that not matter ?
from every build ive seen i dont think it matters.
The fans blow through the radiator to exhaust heat out the top. No other way of doing it unless it's completely outside the case.
Hey so I’m building a similar build to yours so I was wondering does it really matter what type of ssd card I put in the z790?
You missed the key steps for installing Windows and the required drivers for smooth PC operation, some of us really need those steps
