Same thing happened to me at subway in Calgary Alberta Canada for 1 cookie and right when I swiped for the delivery I gotten a call from so called DoorDash support and told him that I’ll call them directly from the number I have from them

Cookie order here too. Same. Next time that happens (because it will, Doordash is doing nothing to stop this scammer problem) just ask the scammer "hey, have you ever accidentally pulled this stunt and realized you just called the police dept who's investigating you? Just curious.. but go look out your window." They'll freak the hell out lol

Hey!!! Yesterday a scammer did the same thing to me but ordered cheese sauce. Scammer called me when I got there and said they had to walk me through canceling the order. I hung up immediately and called door dash to report him. He got so mad he called my phone over twenty times and I answered once to tell him to stop. He said he was going to come find me, hurt me and and do all these horrible sexual things to me. This guy is a psychopath talking to me like that. Support told me it happens all the time sadly. I want to talk to a law firm about this, can you connect me with anyone to talk to? Thank you for all you do to help drivers🎉 🎉🎉

I was getting so many of these phone calls pretending to be “Uber support”
What they would do is do a quick three dollar ride usually near a hospital so they can’t be located and then try to pull this scam off and get my information. It’s rare, but sometimes I do get paid the three dollars when they don’t show up.

I once had an order for just a large soda from a mcdonalds door dash order , I thought it was very odd but it wasn't a scam , the drop off was only a mile or so from the store and I was heading that way anyways

This happened to me a couple of times with Uber and (Lyft) one time was at a Beyoncé concert here in St. Louis and another time I had picked up a ride going in another direction with Uber and a boat. Try me the same time saying that it was a fakeride and this is over live trying to get information and I didn’t fall for it
