I believe I commented once before talking about it but I like how you edit and think you're skilled in that department. I wish I had some banger advice to drop but I'm cursed with the inability to commit to decisions and as a result have not tested any of the ideas and processes that would think to recommend and cannot do so in good faith. I will say just a potential viewer I would not have clicked this thumbnail title combo if I didn't already know your channel, and kind didn't get the vibe of your video from the thumbnail. I cannot really suggest alternatives or ideas though other than some stuff I see in successful videos in the like speedrun niche are: timers in thumbnail (eezy peezy does this like every video), focusing on a quirk of a speedrun like for example maybe for video you say like "this pokemon speedrun is 30% cutscene" and have like the thumbnail play off of that. And open immediately into like "In this video I'll be learning to speedrun pokemon mystery dungeon adventure squad, a game whose world record run is 30% cutscene" delivering on what your thumbnail said, then use that idea to transition into essentially most of the video as is now by going like "you may think that would make it easier, but there are still some surprising challenges ahead". I can say that like every 1M video i've seen in the niche does something similar (documentary styled stuff, eezy peezy, old smallant but now he just does challenge runs with the same format. Best of luck in future videos, and for what it's worth I did actually like the content of this video and watched all of it~!
i aspire to edit like you 00ffaa
