    Sounds like theres a possible issue in the oil pressure relief valve in the transmission. Put a liquid filled gauge into the oil pressure port to see whats going on with thst side of the system.

      Morning.
      The noise has been traced back to the main engine oil filter, further investigation work is being carried out at the moment and an update video will be posted in the following days.
      It's interesting that you mentioned the transmission as we can not locate any information on this, it's a Self Changing transmission and is from what we can tell nearly identical to an MRF unit but the serial numbers don't return any information at all.

      I thought it looked like a SCG unit. Ive got one smaller unit here in NZ that looks very similar to that one. Plus two bigger ones that used to hang off a pair of Gardners. Good boxes but extremely hard to get parts for a lot of them and in a lot of cases info on now too.

    Sounds like to thick oil on the sound I can hear or the shims

      I thought the same, but, the engine manual does state to use an SAE30 API Cc oil in the engine, which is what we have in it at the moment.
      Done a filter change and there wasn't anything concerning in it, no bits of bearing materials ect.
