Armored Cores are literally insane, when i first played it i had no idea about the series at all and i was gobsmacked at how fast these giant mechs moved. Sliding around and jumping like nothing
Imagine something twice the size of a titan but at least 100 times faster, with way more firepower, the ability to fly almost indefinitely, not to mention an insane acceleration with its dashes. That's a NEXT, or an AC from 6. Hell, even the smaller ACs from older titles and AC5 are still bigger than Titans (they're around 6 meters tall if I recall correctly) and so fast and deadly there's still 0 chance of a Titan keeping up, they're honestly overpowered.

Gen 5 ACs only become faster and more mobile in Verdict Day era due to the advancement in technology. That was not the case during the era of AC5 as they were more limited in term of mobility and energy consumption. But yeah, Titans doesn't stand a chance even against AC5 era Armored Cores let alone facing Verdict Day era Armored Cores. Maybe Northstar Titan class might have a chance against AC5 era ACs, but no way it can beat a Verdict Day era AC.

Well actualy no. You see the imc (evil corporation/bad guys) made and were building all titan models except vanguard and monarch (thats why we only fight all multiplayer titans in campain). The Frontier militia aka the good guys had their own titan model, the vanguard class, that being the BT-7274, and other vanguards. Bt is destroyed two times at the last mission first i begginig and in second in the end. Remains of bot Bt's chassies were retrived by imc after events of Titanfall 2, they were reverse engineered into monarch model titan (imc's cheaper copy of vanguard) Hope this explenation helps.

In canon titans are sligtly taller than thier gameplay counterpart because of balancing i suppose. Stryder titans are 7 meters Ogre and atlas titans are about 8 meters. I could be very wrong because my source is reddit.

honestly, the mechs are pretty much perfect size foe modern warfare, well, 4 meters would be perfect perfect, but 6 meters is honestly not too far from it when compared to other fictional mechs, 6 meter tf2 mechs are some of the most practical ones
Damn titans are really just wheezing baby compared to an AC or NEXT where and AC on average is 10.8m tall and a NEXT is 11.2m tall they TOWER over a titan while going roughly 600kmh-1400km
