I really dislike how people say “it’s a kids game, you can’t complain about it” when Outright is talked about, When there are so many more kids games that are more fun, offer more challenge and actually make them think (instead of literally pointing you towards the answer to the puzzle). Kids deserve good games, and outright isn’t making those.
The saddest thing is that they aren't actually making these games, they are only publishing them which means their "quality control" literally doesn't exist.
Kids specially if they are around 4-5 years old should just have fun playing with their favorite characters,they have a whole life ahead to think or be frustrated by "fun" games.

Childrens game are a lot easier now than when I was a kid, used to play Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem and it had actual puzzles to solve, nothing hard but enough to keep it engaging
From my point of view about difficulty in childrens games, I will have to just say Winnie The Pooh's Rumbly Tumbly Adventure, a GameCube game from 2005 that had you go around the map performing fetch quests for the other residents, and had some actually difficult moments in the game like the chase scenes, whereas modern kids games are just mobile games being sold for 60$CAD, and it is sad.

The berenstain bears spooky old tree game for gameboy advanced was hard as hell and took me a couple years, I think, to beat it as a kid. It was really fun though, and had great music for a kids game.

Crash's remastered trilogy is also $25 lol, Pokémon is the same or more but way more fun, and like the guys said, LEGO games are right there. This one looks fine but ultimately boring. You can absolutely find something child appropriate that's more engaging for a better price

I’ve seen the kids who watch Peppa Pig and Cocomelon and the ones who watch Bluey. The Peppa Pig/cocomelon kids are always causing issues and throwing tantrums in the store I work at. I’ve never seen a Bluey kid do it. More kids shows should be like Bluey: teaching life lessons and giving advice to both the kids and the parents.

Bluey is basically nothing but positivity and learning, everything about it is good. Plus, it actually makes you sit down and watch.
