Makes sense. Like a mill or a factory that just churns out games at a constant rate. It's about quantity, not quality, seeing as they also published Kong and Avatar, plus this, all barely within a month of each other. Given the small budgets and even less time given to devs to produce the games in, they should profit just on UA-camrs buying them just to give them bad reviews and the few curious people who buy them just to see how bad they are...yeah, Game Mill makes sense lol

I think GameMill has shown by this point they aren't about any type of artistry or effort in the games they publish. They are 100% profit driven, doing as little work as possible. They are a total shovelware publisher.

Its annoying because the concept of this game isn't a bad idea, going through the story and making choices that change the cannon, but its made so incredibly badly the choices mean absolutely nothing 😅
yeah, im sure people have always wanted a tell tale walking dead based directly on the show, and you could actually change how the story plays, but it's an idea that's practically impossible to do, and if it were to be done, it needs money and a great team, this was made by morons who have no money.

Could you imagine how freaking cool this game could’ve been with the right developers and the proper time to develop? The police station / Rick’s mission before his coma would’ve been the PERFECT tutorial (how to use a gun, stealth, speech options, etc.) But instead the game skips that entire part and just jumps right to the hospital
Playing through the show only for the timeline and events of later seasons getting all messed up due to player choices is such a cool concept. Too bad it was handled by the worst possible company.

This could of been a sick game if made by a competent developer with an actual budget. Being able to play through the Walking Dead story but with alternate ‘what if’ choices and changing the story is a dope idea just executed with execution.

Im beginning to think the gaming industry has become its own animal. Sorta like Hollywood. Where shows and movies seem to have lost the heart. Its like all shows/games are an experiment to see how dumb people have gotten and where the line is of consumerism. Unfortunately there doesnt seem to be a line. Ultimately if this is true, you guys are their free marketers. You live for them and they live for you. They know they’ll always be able to hide in the mix. I think sorta like an internet troll, we all need to just turn them off or keep scrolling or w.e. Including you guys. Even though it may be detrimental to the channel in the short run. I think the most frustrating thing about this game is it has an amazing concept! Choosing the way the walking dead story plays out, revisiting the compelling characters, managing who lives and dies in the apocalypse sounds awesome. Obviously, the execution is garbage.
It’s so cool how they kept walkers accurate to the show. All they do is hug and grab the main characters

@@HappyDude1 Only at Season 6? Man, it went downhill after the governour died, when they left the prison. Not to mention they had unlimited ammo and always found food right when they needed it. For every character that needed to die the zombies suddenly gained superpowers. The show contradicted itself even back in S2 many times. Remember when it was said Zombies always make sounds / are attracted to blood? Well, both the zombie that attacked dale/glenn was 100% silent for a jumpscare, while another bit darryls SHOE instead of his bloody arrow wound.

I found this channel after randomly scrolling through my recommended feed and I've been these binging videos all day. The Bad Boys PS2 game is what started it and after dying laughing for 10 minutes I kept going. It is now 2 hours later and I can't stop. Even though my entire abdomen is in pain from laughing so hard I guess I'm glutton for punishment because I plan on watching as many as I can before I head to bed. The editing, the jokes, the memes and especially the commentary are right up my alley. This channel is definitely my style of humor 😂

An alternate time line walking dead had potential to be really good, cause rick turning into a walker and shane shooting him had me shook, but if it was made by a better company then this wouldve been amazing
You say someone from The Walking Dead must have seen this and wondered if they're out of touch but if you consider the track record of most producers and people who have worked on the show since season 2, it actually makes perfect sense they would approve something like this.

Back in the late 80's and 1990's and early 2000's, DIC was an animation TV show producer and sometimes live action TV show producer who would steal licenses from other companies since they offered the lowest prices to develop shows. The most famous example was how they took the Marvel / Sunbow animated G.I Joe cartoon license away from Marvel / Sunbow when they offered Hasbro (the owners of G.I Joe) the lowest price to develop the newer seasons of the G.I Joe cartoon. The end result was that the DIC seasons of G.I Joe were a HUGE drop in quality (in both animation and writing getting really bad). DIC went crazy doing this with other shows, other companies started doing the same to compete with DIC, and the end result was an American TV animation CRASH with most of the American TV animated industry crashing. Could GameMill start something similar for the video game industry? Maybe.

I’ve seen another UA-camr have the same issue with audio. If you toggle anything in the settings (such as film grain) in the middle of the game then the audio will automatically mute itself. It’s that broken.
At least kong and golem were actually somewhat functional as bad as they were. The AI here do nothing lol.

Y'know, after looking adaptations of walking dead source material, i couldnt help but feel for an animated walking dead series like it was the invincible series with both works made by the same guy.
Gamemill hired the Kong team last minute, gave them no budget, PS2 models, and assets for Unreal Engine. This was their one chance to outdo themselves with Rise of Kong

The studio should be put on Google Play Store, where its place is. They should not be offering this as a AAA game because imagine how bad some of the people that love The Walking Dead series or Kong movies see sh*t like this.
