Yes dudes, Erra is top notch and worthy of at least a couple reactions. Jesse Cash is unreal with his guitar writing and his singing has just gotten stronger and stronger since their first album to now.
Yo homies, this was my request! So stoked to see you guys get to it 🤘 ERRA is a progressive metalcore band from Birmingham. Jesse Cash is their lead guitarist and also the clean singer, while JT Cavey does the heavy vocals. And YES lol I am in fact a big Tool fan. And funny enough, yes, the band are Tool fans and incorporate some Tool-esque riffs on their most recent album. Their song "House of Glass" in particular. Thanks again for checking the song guys!
30 seconds in and it's going on my Playlist!!!! This is fu%$$!g awesome!!!!! Thank you!
@@KenBober Heck yeah dude! You are very welcome, they are an awesome band 🤘
Thank you so much for introducing us to this and all your love and support you give us on Patreon.
Great choice, esp with the Tool influence as you yourself pointed out. They've got some bangers - for those who like this and have not listened to them yet/ looking for another band like them, check out 'Make Them Suffer' (I'd recommend "Contraband" and "Erase Me" as two great songs of theirs to listen to if you have not). Again, great choice Clef!
Cloud cascade 🙌🏽 invent animate ❤️❤️❤️
You guys need to check out their entire Augment album. Its a masterpiece. The best in progressive metalcore easily.
ERRA is phenomenal. I’d recommend Nigh to Silence. That song is really progressive and highlights each member’s talent on an individual level.
Erra was another name for Nergul, one of the Sumerian/Akkadian gods. You cant go wrong with any Erra though, it all slaps. Pattern Interrupt is one of my favorite songs from them.
Yup, swallowed into Nergal by the locals.
I just wanna say, I love this channel because you guys are always so open to music. You don't judge or have preconceived notions, you just look for the good in every song, and I think that's a great quality to have. A lot of reactors are fake and act like every song ever is an absolute banger and their favorite track ever, but ya'll actually seem real authentic with how open you are to music. Love ERRA and just wanted to throw in my 2 cents!
🙏🙏🙏
One of my favourites again guys! You should check out their cover of Stockholm Syndrome by Muse as you reacted to the original last month! It's amazing
Seeing as the patron who recommended was called "Cloud Cascade", which is a song by Invent Animate, why not check out Invent Animate's mini-ep "The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was". It's pretty long, with two songs and an intermission, but it's one of the most beautiful and haunting combinations of music and video I've ever seen. I daresay you'll enjoy it.
1000000000000% AGREE
More erra!!! Snowblood and gungrave!!!!!!!
They're such an awesome band and I highly recommend going down the ERRA rabbithole. Particularly Divisionary or Vanish Canvas which they re-recorded with Courtney LaPlante from Spiritbox.
Yesssss! Told you guys about ERRA a long time ago in a livestream. Finally on the channel. You guys gotta check out more from them. Best metalcore band. Best guitar work in metalcore.
Just about to check this out. Can't wait
Love me some Erra! 🤘
Listen to Impulse and Augment Albums, that was Erra at its peak
I'm loving the new generation of music where you get the heavy growls and then the soothing vocals mixed with and electric sound. The Browning woke me up to that sound. Carnage is sick!!! It's like metalcore mixed with EDM and a dash or rap. You won't be able to figure out whether to headbang or break out the glow sticks and ufo pants.
Pre-congrats on 100K
Madrugada live | Rockpalast | 2019 💖💖✌✌🖤🖤
They are Djent/Progressive metal.
Erra did a cover of the QOTSA song “You Think I Ain’t Worth A Dollar But I Feel Like A Millionaire”. Their version sounded WAY different LOL
Hey Guys! A fun band suggestion is CrossFaith (Japanese metalcore + electro Gods) - Amazing live , I'd recommend their song 'Wildfire' featuring the Welsh Dub/Raggae Metal God Benji (from SkinDred). I think you two gents would love the interplay between metal, raggae and rap in 'WildFire'. In case of censoring, here's the link watch?v=bswkClwZxeA . Would love to see and hear your thoughts gents. Stay awesome. 🤘🤜
Hollywood, you know I'm a Tool fan, if you want a band that's similar sounding please check out the band Battling Delirium and the song Tantric, let me know who you think that singer sounds like.
Welcome to the realm of Progressive Metal, folks. ERRA is pretty damn good!!!!
I have a decent suggestion on the same lines as ERRA. The band is Periphery the song title is OMEGA. It will take you on a musical journey. Honestly!!!
Erra is typically categorized as technical metal core. Their self titled album is an S tier album and I think it is something that you guys would enjoy listening to.
This is like if Animals As Leaders had a baby with Dillinger Escape Plan
Nice reaction homies! Love your channel 🖤
dude you guys picked one of the best songs from them!!! keep looking into them, you will not be disappointed !!!!!
Jesse Cash is a huge tool fan. Go check out his guitar play through on UA-cam!
Y’all should check out Slaughter To Prevail’s 1984 🤘🏻
The song is about a dead body floating through the Helix Nebula in space (also called the Eye of God or Eye of Sauron)
They Just Put out A Masterpiece of an Album in 2021! Highly recommend Shadow Autonomous! Definitely Tool inspired, but unlike anything I’ve heard in the scene 😎🤘🏼
Please Review Scar Symmetry "The Illusionist" :)
tool vibes in this belter
The Erra Epic was written in the 8th century B.C.E. by a Babylonian priest named Kabti-Ilani-Marduk Benjamin R. Foster, Distant Days: myths, tales and poetry from Ancient Mesopotamia (Bethesda, MD.: CDL, 1995). This poem describes the god Marduk as turning away from his city, angry with its people, thus leaving it to Erra’s destructive wrath.
Do you mean Erasure, the 80s British synth pop band?
That's what I was thinking. And if that's not the case, I'd love to know what they think of them: A Little Respect, my favorite Chains of Love and of course their cover of Abba's Take a Chance on Me(Official Video)
@@mikethemotormouth I remember hearing Chains of Love all over the place back then 😊👍🏽
Yes, thanks for that. I love that song
Erra is so fucking good live. Check out snowblood or house of glass for some new stuff.
video starts at 4:15
Facesoull
Y'all are listening to the wrong album. Listen to snow blood and go from there.
Eye of God isn't on an album. Besides, any ERRA is a good place to start. I chose this because it's one of their best songs IMO and really shows what the band is capable of on all fronts.
@@cloudrise Are you Cloud Cascade? I'm assuming you're an Invent Animate fan then haha
@@francisbacon223 I am and I am 😅🤘
