Very nice, Ying. I'm moving from Texas in the US to Thailand this year. This video is 7 month old, and the "normal" price today for a 30-35 Sqm condo unit like this is 12-15 000 Bath in On Nut area. But if you choose to live in similar condo units in Bang Na and the nearest BTS stations at Ban Suk and Bearing, you can get the same for 7-13 000 Bath a month even today.
@@Oggiwara1 Thank you very much for sharing that info! If I could paint a quick picture of my situation, I'd really appreciate your input! I'm moving to Thailand after I sell my house in Texas (probably by June-July). Once all of my assets are liquidated, I'll have about $500,000. But I'm only 53. So I won't start receiving Soc Sec (about $1850/month) until 2032, plus another $800/month starting in 2035. I planned on putting most of my cash into an annuity or some other option that will pay me a percentage each year. One major consideration that you might have an opinion on is: should I rent or should I buy an apartment/condo/house? My concern about renting is that with inflation (as you pointed out), the great price I get today may not be so great in 5, 10, 15 years. Thanks for your time!
@@quasimotto8653 The best thing is to rent before you know for sure where to live. And renting is very cheap vs. to buy. Because the main reason for the "inflation" today, is the amount of russians running away from the war in Ukraina. When the war is over, most of them will go back home and leave a gap in the marked and rent price will go down to normal. If you want to move quickly from a condo you bought because of bad neighbors, you can easily loose 3-500 000 Bath or more if you have to sell equally fast. If you rent, you only loose the deposit if you break the contract. Then we are talking 20-30 000 Bath depending on the rent.

Hello Ying How can I rent a condo like this? Should I wait until i come i will be arriving oct 16th in Bangkok or should I book before? It's really got everything i need pool, gym and good sector of the city. Thank you!
I am a little bit confused. I plan to go in Thailand for one month and I don't know what to rent. What is the difference between Condo, apartment, hotels, rooms? Condo is apartment without reception like hotel has, right? And also no woman who cleaning that apartment?
I think the primary difference between an apartment and a condominium is that apartment buildings are leased residencies, while condominiums give full ownership of the unit to individuals. Both don't have full service of reception like hotel but there is someone you can contact or called as "Residential Juristic Person" For some full service apartments provide a cleaning service like a hotel. :) Hope I answered your question.
Thank you for watching and welcome to BKK 😇 I would say I don’t really hear my neighbors talking but yeah there’s some noises outside. Not that noisy tho. I’m still okay with that.
very nice your apartment, when I come on vacation to Thailand I think I will stay in an apartment like yours, with travel agencies you can rent even for a month
7555.5 Baht or £180 sterling roughly still cheap compared with other countries but if you go out of Bangkok. The price and the size of condos are better.
I prefer rant a Thai room like an "Apartement" or "Mansion", no Facility, no pool, but in Center of Bangkok Condo at this price, so far i Thing. But if you work Need and your salary is goot (Not Thai Minimum Work (11 000B) Yes may be. But I think i prefer rant an House for this price.
Great tour. Bangkok's too large f/ me at this stage of my life and interests, but I am moving to Jomtien. I hope to pay between $295 and $450 USD a month there. I discovered you on the channel "Thailand Bound" (Peter's interview).
I agree. Bangkok is fun to visit, but too congested to live in. Chiang Mai is absolutely beautiful, but the burning season makes it unlivable for about 3 to 4 months a year. Hua Hin is pretty cool, but really not much happening. Pattaya is like the wild west. Again, fun to visit. Jomtien is more relaxed and you can get great value for the money. But I do wonder if someday Jomtien will end up like Pattaya.
I don't think there's much different for Thai or Foreigner. Both can have 6 or 12 months depending on what you agree with the owner. Negotiation is always available here 😊
I need to stay here for a month’s worth of rent but sometimes it gets confusing when your train and bus station to your next destinations I get confuse sometimes if I didn’t have my friend who goes with me around Bangkok and I’ve been traveling here for 5 years in this city still get lost sometimes especially if I go alone to shop!

I may rent a condo or apt in BKK next winter. Maybe December thru March. Is this available? How much is HOA fees? I love the ON Nut area for great shopping and food. How far a walk is the Sky Train?

You apartment is quite nice, But you got a luxury building with all comodoties , pool, etc. great video.
Thank you for watching 🙏
Finding this amazing video 1.5 yrs late, how much is it going for now?
Beautiful location. You gave renting costs. If its not rude id be curious what you paid for it. Were going to Thailand next month and always looking at land/homes to purchase.
Looks great....yes and quite
Ying. Nice channel. May I ask how much it cost for you to buy the apartment (you discussed rental costs). Thanks.
Hello, I would say the price is in between 2-2.7 million. You pay more for higher floor if that makes sense.
Hi. Suggestion. When you give a tour of your apartment, you should let us know the size of your apartment in each room (bedroom, living room, and kitchen). Thx
Thank you for the advice 🙏☺️
i am coming to look for a place long term i need to check out this area. thank you for the information 🙂
Hi Ying. I think you are a very well spoken, elegant, intelligent, young woman. Any man would be lucky to earn your loyalty and respect.
I lived down sukhumvit 50 near onut bts also about 20 odd years ago i paid about 9000 baht for a 50 square meter 1 bedroom place. Prices have not changed much in that time
That’s nice 🙂
Thanks for watching ^^

@@yinginthailand Thank you for great info!!!
Hi, nice video! We're currently looking for a condo near on nut as well, does your condo have a shuttle bus to the BTS?
Hi yeah, there’s a shuttle bus from condo to Onnut BTS 😊
Welcome to UA-cam ;)
Thank you ☺️
Nice video. Please do make a more detailed video of Excel . Thanks
Thanks :)
More details mean like facilities etc?
how do you guys find the cheapest month-to-month furnished apartments/condos in bangkok?
You can check on ddproperty website 😊
I am a little bit confused. I plan to go in Thailand for one month and I don't know what to rent.
What is the difference between Condo, apartment, hotels, rooms?
Condo is apartment without reception like hotel has, right? And also no woman who cleaning that apartment?
I think the primary difference between an apartment and a condominium is that apartment buildings are leased residencies, while condominiums give full ownership of the unit to individuals. Both don't have full service of reception like hotel but there is someone you can contact or called as "Residential Juristic Person"
For some full service apartments provide a cleaning service like a hotel. :) Hope I answered your question.
Looks nice I hope to move to BKK in 1 to 2 years. How is the privacy ? Can you hear your neighbors talking ?
Thank you for watching and welcome to BKK 😇
I would say I don’t really hear my neighbors talking but yeah there’s some noises outside. Not that noisy tho. I’m still okay with that.
@@yinginthailand Thank You ! My current place is a nightmare 🤣😭
Oh no, sorry to hear that hahaha 🤣😭
Yong is the best ❤❤❤
very nice your apartment, when I come on vacation to Thailand I think I will stay in an apartment like yours, with travel agencies you can rent even for a month
Yeah, there're many like mine in bkk :) Welcome to Thailand!
Thank you for watching :)
Great video Ying be nice to meet you 🤲🏼
Thank you for watching 🙏
7555.5 Baht or £180 sterling roughly still cheap compared with other countries but if you go out of Bangkok. The price and the size of condos are better.
I prefer rant a Thai room like an "Apartement" or "Mansion", no Facility, no pool, but in Center of Bangkok
Condo at this price, so far i Thing. But if you work Need and your salary is goot (Not Thai Minimum Work (11 000B) Yes may be. But I think i prefer rant an House for this price.
Hi Ying 👋. New subscriber here. I enjoyed the video tour of your apartment 🙏. You seem really nice ❣️. Mark from Manchester England
Hello Mark, thank you for watching 😊
In thailand, it easy to eat out all the time if you're a type 2 diabetic (no sugar or carbs, meaning no noodles or rice.)
Yeah, and available 24 hrs at many places 😊
Nice..do they have 2bedroom in that building..and how much are all the utilities..you left that out
Yeah they have 2 bedrooms. The utilities are around 1,500 B that’s including electricity, water and internet. 🙂
Thanks for watching 😇
In Los Angeles that is about 2700 a month.
very beautiful. I love it.
Great tour. Bangkok's too large f/ me at this stage of my life and interests, but I am moving to Jomtien. I hope to pay between $295 and $450 USD a month there. I discovered you on the channel "Thailand Bound" (Peter's interview).
Thank you so much for watching ☺️

Very good tour, super nice apartment. Subscribed.
Thanks so much 🙂
Great....I will contact you in my next trip to Bangkok
Really love it thanks for the tour wow
Hi, this place is awesome! Looking to move out full time and this might be the one!
Welcome to BKK! Thanks for watching ☺️
@@yinginthailand oh yeah, what’s the requirement to rent as a foreigner? Is there a 12 month min contract or 6 months?
I don't think there's much different for Thai or Foreigner. Both can have 6 or 12 months depending on what you agree with the owner. Negotiation is always available here 😊
@@yinginthailand thanks for the info l!
Great video!! How much are those apartments selling for if u don't mind me asking
It's around 2.4 ml :)
I love videos under 5 minutes. Thank you! 😀
Thank you for watching 😊
Yeah, alot of guys drag out their videos, because they make more money, but I don't like that either.
Yeah, I understand sometimes it's confusing here. But once you're familiar with the train, it will be easier for you 🙂
HI Ying....great coverage.....really liked the condo.....i am coming on june 1 for two months......i want to rent a 1 bedroom apartment all inclusive.....can u help me out
Looking to retire in Thailand, any tips? Do and don’t.
Hi Ying, I am interested in one month occupancy for 12/23 and 3/24 ,and wonder what is available at the Excell?
I'm sorry I think they're not any units renting like that for a short time period :(
@@yinginthailand I need to keep searching . Ying, you impress me by your enthusiasum in the housing market. Short term ,month to month, condo, apartment, airbd, hotel long stay, should be graded and represented by a reputable Agency operating in Bangkok.
Sadly, it looks like Pattaya bloggers are real keen on touring that areas offerings. The BIDH, commute would be unappealing .
@@yinginthailand thank you Ying!
I may rent a condo or apt in BKK next winter. Maybe December thru March. Is this available? How much is HOA fees? I love the ON Nut area for great shopping and food. How far a walk is the Sky Train?
This one isn’t available but you can check online I think there will be some. Usually HOA fees will be paid yearly here. If you rent, they will include in the rental price.
This condo isn’t so far from BTS but don’t recommend to walk as the weather in Thailand is too hot
@@yinginthailand Thanks, I will keep looking
I do not mind walking. Last time I was in Soi36 and20 minute walk to BTS
You’re welcome 🙂 Good Luck ^^
Hi Ying, it looks nice, and I love the location. It is a little small for me. Would you happen to know the price for a bigger unit, even a 2 bedroom?
Thanks for watching, I’m not sure about the price of two bedroom here. But you can check on the website. :)
Is nice! Thank you yin!
Thanks for watching 🙂
