I’m amount 1 month in and I have 85 listings. Had a couple digital sales but just sold my first T-Shirt two days ago! I’m getting a lot better at designing. I’m glad I decided to try this out! I love it! Thank you Heather.

At 176 listing in 6 weeks. Only 3 sales but I have 1/2 dozen following the shop and a more favoriting items (and yes, coupon is set up for those potential customers).

I’ve had my store for almost a year with only 14 listings, have sold approx $400 of my digital templates.
I’m looking at spending time to add a lot more listings, would it serve me better to add them to the existing store, or create a new store? P.S. I have 14 five star reviews.

"At least 100 listings within the first two months". And i have 45 listings in three months, and i still wonder why i don't have a single sale yet... To be honest though, it's hard to get ideas. Whenever i have a good idea, i make a product, and i don't have good ideas every day... So 100 listings in two months, seems impossible to me
you dont need 100 listings in two months. This is a very bad advice and potentially can cause a burn out along the way. 1 list a day is more than enough to get algorythm checking your store daily, therefore pushing you in search results. Plus, think about creating variation of the same design so you wont need to come up with a fresh new idea every day: things like changing the color and uploding the product as a new listing can help keep the store active. Etsy is about persistency, not about the amount of listing you put in the first couple of months.
Around 10 listings of high quality products I 3D modeled from scratch. Some of them are sick but sadly 0 sales.
Quality over quantity. You can post 200 listings but if the designs are trash it doesn’t matter compared to someone who has 25 high quality designs

It’s still going to be harder for someone with 25 high quality products than it is for someone with 200 high quality products.
A quality over quantity mindset is good, but a quality *and* quantity mindset is even better. And I think that’s what she meant here.
You learn more from doing than thinking, so if you upload more often, you’ll likely be producing higher quality products after a month than most slower beginners are after a year
Agreed with the other comment! UA-cam shorts only allow 60 seconds so I couldn't include this but I agree that quality always is important over quantity. Once you master quality, then you can double down on quantity in what I've done to scale my business.
How do I count listings for making goals? For example, let’s say I have a teacher shirt that is scaled up for 12 grades…is that 1 listing….or 12?

I'm not trying to sell you anything but can you tell me the name of your store?
You need at least one review. The more reviews the better. Ask friends and family to help you. In order to not get suspended make sure the people who are going to leave a review don't share ID, bank account or address with you.
Have someone review your page. Also if you can, create bundles. Create a lost leader. There’s a reason they’re coming in that line. You have to get other eyes, honest eyes on your page.
How good are your listing photos in comparison to other shops with similar products that are selling? And how unique are your products? Just a couple questions to ask yourself. good luck!
Very easy: read!!! Get books about marketing, Names of people who know what they're doing: Jay Abraham. Chet Holmes, Tony Robbins, Stephen Covey. You need to learn how to communicate. If you sell stuff that nobody wants, find out what people want instead. If you sell stuff that people want but they don't know it... so make sure all the qualities of your stuff is transparent and accessible. The people who want your stuff need to know it's there and that it solves their needs. Get people to engage with you. Those 1500 visits know exactly why they didn't buy. You need to know, too.
Read books on marketing; there’s too many information on opening and creating shops but no reference in books to learn how to sale
I heard someone else say in a video u can get flagged and shut down if u load to many at first. Is this correct?
Yes I heard the same thing, to my knowledge yes it is true since it may be seen as a “bot” type of shop that’s controlling it and just posting lots of listings. But I post 5 listings a day and have yet to have any issues . However if a shop does get shut down it will take a few days to be reopened but it wouldn’t affect the shop as far as any penalties towards it or anything
This is one factor I've seen but also connecting an application to Etsy shops can also do this too, again due to the Etsy algorithm wire being tripped. Usually if your shop gets shut down and then reopened, most do not experience this again. This is what happened to my shop and since I haven't had issues. *Disclaimer: I do not work for Etsy and this is based on my own experiences.

Love your channel! New seller here. I understand the more quality listings the better. But what’s the best strategy for number of listings on Day 1 for a new store? Is it better to put tons of listings on day 1 or better to start…say 2 listings per day, every day consistently. I’ve heard different opinions and it’s confusing. 😳
