    Hi Heather. As someone who also suffered a lot from anxiety and depression from a very early age due to a severely dysfunctional family environment, and who's fought a lot and managed to overcome most of his problems, and has spent a lot of time helping others going through similar issues, just wanted to laud you for always being open about this, as it can be a very inspiring message for many suffering from the same. Stories of success are very important beacons of hope for those currently living moments of emotional darkness and feel quite lost in life.

    Hi Heather, I just wanted to say that I’ve watched many videos over the last few months and your are by far my favorite ones to watch. It really feels like you’re talking to us,they are so relatable.
    I’m around 45 days into my POD store and so far I’m struggling to reach many customers with my t-shirt designs. I think I need to delve into micro niches on Etsy. I’m getting to it all when my son naps at lunchtime and then when he goes to bed at night, so very slowly I’m growing my store.❤️

    Heather, thank you so much for being open about your mental health. Even if we don't struggle with chronic challenges, we all need to take good care of our mental health and it starts with getting rid of the stigma and just talking about it. Vulnerability = Courage. You're a badass and I'm glad I found your channel (over a year ago, at least).

    The burnout thing is so so important, this business when your starting can be so exhausting mentally it. Its definatley effected my health since I already deal with chronic illness. It's also hard to 'turn it off' when your not working on it, your thinking about it or learning about it

    I hope you make a video on the current madness that is Etsy suspending long standing shops without an obvious reason and ghosting them.
    More sellers with a voice need to stand up and rebel.
    Etsy has been treating us horribly for far too long and something needs to change.

    May the odds be ever in your favor. 😊 Many of my fave Mockingbird quotes are dark and sad lol, so i went with the more neutral and really applicable to trying to keep up in the POD world of Etsy.

    I spend a ton of money on shopping on Etsy and literally well …. Everywhere and I will never ever buy from anyone that doesn’t accept returns because it tells me that they don’t stand between their products. It tells me that if people could return it - they probably would. If you believe in the quality of your product you should not have concerns about losing money due to frequent returns

    So I did my first taxes with Etsy, and I went to a CPA and he wanted me to pay $1,700 and he said that was a discount. I dont even make that much on Etsy to even pay half of that, so I went to h and r block.

    Nice video. How do you work with POD, when they don’t allow any exchanges especially if an item is the wrong size or color?

    • @itsheatherstudio
      @itsheatherstudio  8 місяців тому +2

      Thanks for watching! With POD as the seller you get to decide if you want to accept exchanges or returns. If it's the wrong size/color, you can have the customer ship back to your house address and then place an order with your POD company to ship to the customer. It's completely up to the policy you set in place in your business. :)

    I’m in the UK and updating pricing because Prinitfy doesn’t convert is a headache in itself. But just a quick one, I recently got Printify Premium. In turn that means I’m lowering prices.. but does that mean I have to create new listings for everything instead?? I might cry.

    Hi heather thanks for the video. I have doubts 1st . If i open exchange and return policy , will printify accept that? In case of returning of the stuffs which address customer will return as i am not holding any physical inventory. My 2nd question is it advisable to open new etsy shop with 3 products types and tapping multiple niches ? Please guide dear. Thanks

    Wonderful video with valuable information!!! I have a question Heather. I started my shop 45 days ago...have been adding 20 designs every week (focusing on quality i guess). I am not running any ads as I don't want to spend in the beginning years. No sales yet. Am I doing anything wrong or is there still a chance that I would see sale someday. Trying to follow the guidelines and tips I get from etsy top sellers. I would appreciate your insight. Thanks

    Toward the end of your video, during the email marketing segment, you have some music "piped in" that sounds like it's coming from the next room at my house, and it's very distracting from what you're saying.
