    Cool so u can upgrade it to work even on night time. Now how do you switch it off? Maybe someone working night and need to sleep on daytime or just being sick or something.
    Also does this cost less then 1 dollar also?

    Cover the top of the bottle that sticks out of the roof with tinfoil (or something similar but less fragile), shiny side down. It will reflect more of the light down into the room!

    • @Chimonger1
      @Chimonger1 8 років тому +2

      +Tarriq Pillay , If you cover the top of the bottle with foil, that blocks the light from coming through the bottle during daytime, when those shacks are so dark. Many avoid putting in windows, for security reasons and privacy.
      The Sun shines through the bottle top, gets magnified by the water, and lights up the inside of a dark room.
      With these units, the solar charging gadget attached to the bottle top, uses daylight to charge battery, and light the LED at night...so gets both daylight AND nighttime solar energy light.
      The earlier versions of the Liter Lights, only worked during daylight....they didn't have battery, solar panel or LED in them to start...still good.
