Easily my top 3 favorite PS2 game. If it weren’t for this game, the gameplay concept Marvel Ultimate Alliance wouldn’t have come to be.
The story is 10/10
Gameplay is 10/10
Replayability is 10/10
Being able to play Co-op with 4 people was so awesome too. The danger room simulations were so fun. Getting to play as the villains was a treat, they could’ve definitely done a lot more with this game. They don’t make games like these anymore.
The story is go stop bad guy because not really a 10/10 story, gameplay is about a 6/10 serviceable, Replayability is a 8/10, better than a 0/10 like the first game.
Apocalypse looks much more imposing here than in X-men Apocalypse.

Mr.Sinister sabotaged the machine because he didnt want to spend the rest of his immortality serving Apocalypse and technically "helped" the Xmen. THERE mystery solved.

The ending leaves an opening for another game. After all these years I am still hoping that another one comes out. I really loved this game and Marvel Ultimate Alliance!!

The X men Apocalypse Movie was good,but I expected ALOT more from Apocalypse...but just this clip alone,tops the movie big time! :-)

Richard McGongale’s Voice Acting on Apocalypse is So Super Intriguing that has Honored the Original Voice Actor of Apocalypse from X-Men: The Animated Series(1992-1997)
Now I really want that X-Men: Legends III game with Mr. Sinister kidnapping Cyclops in order to have him and Pryor's DNA spliced into Cable and then the mission being to try to get baby Cable back to send him into the future so he can then be raised there, come back to the timeline of this game, and be unlocked as a playable character!

As I remember the original story it was a little different, but hey.. game and comics don't always go together.
I think Pryor was a clone from Grey, got matched with Scott (after Grey "died" first time) and when the kid was born, it was the beginning of Inferno.

Apocalypse's New York city Monologue is just so utterly awesome and is probably the best bit of lines from Apocalypse that I have ever heard from the character.
Apocalypse would've been much stronger if had these four mutants for The Four: Sebastian Shaw (he soaks up attacks for strength), Scarlet Witch (she bends reality), Jean Grey (psychic powers), and Deadpool (heals super quick)

***** No way Apocalypse gathers a foursome that is potentially much stronger than he is.

This was my childhood i remember playing this on my Gamecube honestly one of the best games on Gamecube i can say i also remember almost finishing it but never got the chance oh well now i can see the ending 😁🙂

Been nice if Marvel had the rights to X-Men and did a crossover with Avengers where they fought Apocalypse.
nope X-men franchise has a steady audience and a better story line then avengers i personally think it would be a horrible mistake to mix them.

So then you already knew that the mandarin wasn't the mandarin? You knew hydra infiltrated shield? You knew loki would be king of asgard? You knew the red skull would teleport into oblivion? You knew the hulk was going to defeat loki? You knew how the guardians were going to escape kyln? jk. I found them all a bit predictable but not to the point that it was ridiculous. However X-Men has always been predictable as well. Still love these films though.

To anyone saying they wish Mystique and Sabretooth were playable: Mystique wouldn’t have any moves other than a 3 hit kick combo. Her only power is turning into other characters, which would be really hard to do in this game. Sabretooth would be a Wolverine clone. Wasted space when you could have other, unique characters. Wolverine is more popular and is the good guy, therefore a major selling point, so it’s obvious which one of the two would make it.
Sabretooth was playable on the PC version, along with Pyro.
Yet they made a full moveset for Sabertooth in Ultimate Alliance

Everyone over here is concerned about one child of Magneto, but Apocalypse took two of his kids Haha. Quicksilver and Polaris are in the generator. All he needed was Scarlet Witch and it would have been a wrap.

+ccghidorah1 Well I don't know about the Fantastic 4 or other avengers, but Iron Man was captured by Apocalypse's forces and if you rescue him as well as collect all the pieces of his armor, you unlock him as a playable character.
