- Heaven & Healing Podcast episode 3 features my sister in Christ, Jessica Torres: ex-new ager who had a 6 figure business helping women ‘heal’ through sensuality, sex and divine feminine empowerment. She taught on popular gnostic topics such as Mary Magdalene priestess-hood and embodying our relationship to God through the goddess spirit within, all before her unexpected conviction of the Holy Spirit that lifted the veil to show her that Jesus Christ is the only truth. In this conversation, we dive into the deceit of the divine feminine movement, how destructive it actually is in contrast to the healing that it promises, and unpack a range of topics within that realm - from sex, sensuality, trauma, relationships and more.
Our goal with this dialogue is to share how true feminine empowerment does not come from defiance of the Creator, His Living Word, nor from “crushing the patriarchy” or becoming more culturally & socially astute than men - it actually comes from the surrender and submission to our Savior Jesus Christ.
Women want to live by their own rules, with no sense of order or structure, because it feels good to our flesh and to our ego when we lack discipline or obedience. But this lifestyle of self-worship only leaves us craving more of that sensuality, giving us a false sense of security within the guise of ‘flowing goddess energy’ rather than bringing true fulfillment that can only come from living in accordance to God’s will.
The mindset that God’s will (Christ-man-woman-child) is oppressive is a radial misrepresentation of His Word.
What’s oppressive is the belief that there is freedom in the divine feminine, because you are imprisoned by your own flesh when you only live for your own desires. When you live within the structure of God, you are free from the world and resurrected in the Holy Spirit.
The devil promises freedom in the world by leading you to submit to yourself and abandon God.
God promises eternity by asking you to abandon the world and submit to Him.

I am just stumbling upon your videos just wanted to say thank you! I was a psychic medium saved by Jesus and I have a similar testimony to both of yours as far as how lost and deep I was in the new age and how I was radically saved. Love this conversation, thank you sisters. I also loved Mary Magdalene and was in a mystery school dedicated to her. It was taught she and Jesus were “twin flames”. Now I cringe at that language. I actually took zoom classes with Meggan Waterson teaching from the Mary Magdalene revealed book! I ate that stuff up. Totally deceived and believed this was the actual truth instead of the Bible. It’s so funny how ppl in the new age love reading the gnostic gospels (which are not Holy Spirit inspired) like the book of Mary Magdalene or the book of Thomas but they won’t go near the Bible with a ten foot pole lol. The proverbs makes it perfectly clear what God thinks of sensual women. It’s not good! The biggest blessing since being saved is learning what is beautiful in God’s eyes pertaining to women. Praying to be a godly woman everyday. It’s wild how completely opposite it is to what the world says. Praise the Lord for opening our eyes. 1 Peter 3:3-4
Proverbs was the first book of the bible I read before being saved and I was so convicted by it. It's so amazing how God works...I was in a very toxic abusive relationship for 3 years - right before we broke up this man found a box of books on the side of the road and gave then to me and inside was the Bible.

This verse shook me when I read it.
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. The first mention of "sons of God" in the Hebrew Bible occurs at Genesis 6:1-4.
I asked myself who were the sons of God? Then I realized they were angels. And God never wanted the world this way. So he destroyed it. I feel God wanted to know what it would feel like to be human, to feel the way we do. These are my thoughts, I’m not saying they are correct but they make sense to me. Imagine being so powerful, and mighty. And not truly understanding what your children are going through. So he sent one of his angels to bare a son. A son that could and would feel all the things we feel. The almighty himself actually living as one of us. Feeling life , love, forgiveness, temptation from his favorite angel morning star. And all the time having his sons torment one another. Lucifer was Gods favorite angel, just like the Sun brings earth life, God named Lucifer Morning Star. And like most Sons Challenge their fathers so did Lucifer. Lucifer was so jealous of Jesus, when God chose him. And Jesus defeated Lucifer. Cost Jesus his life. God wanted to know what it would feel like to truly suffer as we do. And that’s why Jesus took away our sins.

I could listen to this for hours it is so fascinating to me as someone who was in the new age for a long time and have now been with Jesus for 3 years. Listening to others discuss this topic and their personal experiences helps me to make sense of the deception that I was under. I love the way that people who come out of the new age to Christ are so passionate about him and so discerning and aware of sneaky deceptions. Thanks for this content ladies. Jessica said something profound that might be missed….. “women desire to submit to something…” amen! It is the Lords Will for a woman to desire to submit to Him, Jesus, and her god-ordained husband.
There is so much true peace when you truly submit your life to God’s order in His Word.
Side note: feminism is a lie from the pit of hell, and most women realize it right before age 30, that society has lied to us about what will make us happy and fulfilled. Fantastic conversation.

1 - speaking to sex within marriage and outside of marriage: you both talked about what that feeling must be like when in a holy relationship. Speaking from experience wanting to share with others on the fence, my husband and I lived together for 3 years before marriage. The sex was awesome but the moment we came together under God in complete union. It was literally like nothing else. It cannot be conjured up, it cannot be fabricated, only God can give that kind of pleasure. Committing yourself to God and waiting for the man or women IS SOOOO WORTH IT!! We didn’t wait but we witnessed in ourselves the difference and use it as a testimony for Gods intended design 🙌🏻
2 -- when you two were speaking to the enemy targeting those with trauma, the scenes from the new Stranger Things came to mind. In the show the demon is targeting teens whose minds and hearts are weak from trauma, hurt, insecurity etc… when we try to hide and keep these thing to ourselves the enemy targets us, manipulates and separates us from truth. The show portrays a very dark symbolism of what it looks like in the spirit realm, while the physical realm looks “fine”. Remember, there is war between heaven and hell over each of our souls. Please to anyone hurting, give your burdens to God and find someone you trust to share your sorrows with, to speak out your shame so you may come to repentance/surrender, find someone who will pray, hug and love on you safely. We are not alone, God wants your heart. And the testimony of these two lovey women are so powerful. They have seen their own demons and have seen God heal and save them. I pray others will follow and find the love of Jesus sooner rather then later. 🙏🏻

Amen! I’m so happy to hear other sisters say something I’ve said for months: the enemy preys on trauma. My trauma led me into new age & every day I felt like I had to do “work”. I literally scoured the internet for truth. Things started to change in my new age journey when they had the audacity to mention Jesus as an “enlightened being”. But as God always does, He used that false information for my salvation. I went through a phase of believing I was helping God help me by meditating, doing yoga, listening to binaural beats 🤦♀️ until I was finally convicted of it all & actually had a supernatural encounter with Jesus whereafter He healed my generalized anxiety disorder. All glory be to God 🙏 I wanted truth & He gave it to me. Like Mark 6:34 “And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.”
Very interesting talk! Just a lil side note- Mary the Mother of Christ has nothing to do with the divine feminine, she was a virgin and continues to be a role model for us in obedience to the Lord. He chose her to be the way in which Jesus entered our world, and it is his wish that she’d be our way to her son. From the cross he ordered us (via John) to consider her our mother, and if we do, she will inevitably guide us to Jesus. All visionaries who have seen her talk about how she always points to her Son. It’s a shame that so many Christians miss out on her guidance bc they’re scared she represents idol worship. She was the one who brought me onto the right path and praying the rosary slowly brings my family closer to God. 🕊️
If she always points to Jesus, then why not just go to Jesus anyway? He died for you, He loves you, there is no point to include anyone else.

I was so angry for so long! And I didn't understand why. And I thought my own pleasure was before anyone! Even my kids! That hurts me!
This is a great topic! One thing I would note since it was brought up multiple times is that Jezebel was a person and she died (2 Kings 9:30-37) so her spirit is not haunting us and she did not come back as a demon. “Jezebel spirit” is kind of a misleading term in that way, but lust is definitely a strong sin.
I am loving this podcast and this is great episode. I just want to clarify one important thing since I am a catholic: we do NOT worship Mary, we only worship our Lord God, as all Christians should do. I know this is a HUGE misconception about catholicism, I guess that's because we pray the Hail Mary, which is literally in the Bible, and which is actually a prayer request. We say this prayer as we would ask a friend to pray for us. We also pray the Father's prayer that Jesus taught us, we pray the Holy Spirit to descend upon us, the apostle's creed and a lot of other traditional prayers that have been prayed since the beginning of Christianity. We also do Holy Hours, during which we just praise and worship Jesus. We don't do that for Mary because we don't consider her a goddess or God-like or whatever non-catholics think we do. We consider her the Mother of God, hence the closest person to God, and our mother (since Jesus on the cross said to His disciple: "here is your mother" and we consider ourselves His disciples) and also the main human example to follow to live a godly life. Of course we know that she became the Mother of God because of the Holy Spirit and not because of some kind of divine nature; she was chosen by God and we acknowledge that.

This was such a wonderful conversation! I resonated a lot with her testimony. I was into the new age for a while and was deceived by it particularly after taking psychedelics. Oddly enough, I was saved at this point. But I was saved at the age of 12 and hadn't been living right with the Lord since I was 21. I also related to the incest and being extremely sexual at a young age. It is still something that brings me shame and I hope I will not feel shame about it one day. Thank you for being so much open in your testimony, many people will be blessed by this. It makes me understand why I should be brave in sharing my testimony too, and not leave out the parts that bring me shame. Anyway, very grateful for this podcast and this conversation. I can relate to this in so many ways. I fell into the "Twin Flames" trap and the downward spiral into oracle readings, tarot, manifesting, the Divine Feminine, astrology, etc etc. Until I was literally spitting mad about God & Jesus, completely rejecting the Bible as a farce written by man. My partner fought for me and our relationship otherwise I might have been lost forever. But this world is Satan's domain, that is why he offers it up to Jesus. This is his playground.

I listened to a great sermon by Cornerstone Church in Wylie. Adam was made, then brought into the Garden. He got instructions straight from God. Eve was made in the Garden. Adam's has a responsibility to point Eve to God and protect her from evil. Eve ate the fruit, but Adam didn't hold up his protection responsibility. It's all Christian mens' responsibility now to protect the women from the evil attacks in today's world by guiding us to God. So many women have fallen into allyship for unGodly things. My husband and I have become lukewarm. I watched you on Michael Knowles today. Plus his other shows in that Playlist. I'm following you too now and will be finding a new church this month. Thank you.

I was so into all of the “divine feminine” garbage and right as I was returning to Jesus, I went to coffee with a woman from a “divine feminine “ group I was in and she was telling my about the Mary Magdalene Revealed book. I even have it written in my notes . But something felt wrong and she even left coffee really fast. I am so thankful that God kept me on the path toward Him…

Jessica Torres is such an engaging person. But I am totally baffled by her former beliefs. I hope to gain more understanding of them.
Around 16:00 in and had to add a comment. One of the great truths I've (very recently) come to realize is what I call the 'litmus test' - If you're receiving a message, how to know if it's from God or from Satan. If the thought is for the benefit/glory/satisfaction of yourself, then no matter how true it sounds, you need to be on your guard because that is the way Satan tempts us. "You will NOT die. You will become wise like God."
Jesus was God walking among us in flesh as a man, and he made himself a servant. He washed his disciples' feet. He allowed the Sanhedrin to mock and spit on him, and the Romans to nail him on a cross. And he's divine. Leading up to this, his prayer to the father was "not my will, but thine be done." THAT's how you recognize truth. If you would be great in the Kingdom, you should become the least of these. Whoever seeks to save his own life will lose it. He who loses it for me shall save it. When Jesus lifts you up, it's through grace, not because you deserve it. It's not for you, but for his glory. If you want to be lifted up for your own glory, then Jesus said "Truly, I say unto you, they already have their reward."

Came across a book called "Redvelations" by a woman called Sera Beak. It's loaded with this kind of stuff, and I only got it because I wanted to make a video responding to it. Every page has things antithetical to Christ.

I have had 10 incarcerations in psychiatric hospitals. I found your talk on depression and anxiety the best talk on this issue I have ever heard.

Another book written by a really great women who exposed ALL of this after suffering SO much is 'The Beautiful Side of Evil' by Johanna Michaelsen. Read that book. She exposes the other side of this control tactic, not from the 'sex magic' side but the TM or 'meditation side. When you see what she found out, you start to see it in popular religions and it is a mind blaster. To put it in simple terms, it's the reason I am NO LONGER a Catholic but SO much of their doctrine, as JESUS said, is just RENAMING these satanic entities but the practices are the same. Vain repetitions, canned spells...er, ahem, I mean "prayers" (always to Mary or with her in the prayer) and they also create the images, the alters if you will. Never forget, JESUS is NOT on the cross....but if they had it THEIR way....he'd stay there forever.

I have been a follower of Christ for decades and i am telling you all this instant wonderful feelings upon turning to Christ is not how things work. leading people to expect that will cause many to fall away from the faith. Jesus said to pick up your cross and follow Him. there is no exciting comfortable cross.
I agree, although for some, the radical rebirth can feel amazing for those who were previously in a very dark place. But I do agree that the feeling should not be emphasized, but more Jesus and the Truth..... the truth sets us free..... that is a grounded, very real, experience that isnt all good feelings for some. It is a reckoning.

I like Spencer Smith but I do think he is into calvinism. The problem with Calvinism is that salvation becomes a 12 step program instead of just put your faith and trust into Jesus
Spencer Smith is definitely not a Calvinist. Not trying to be argumentative, just remember being delighted to learn that he rejects the TULIP.
My role model is Mary, the Mother of Jesus. She was chaste and celibate all Her life, and I strive to be like Her. She was the One who saved me when I was at my lowest point. I prayed The Angelus Prayer, and from that time on my life slowly improved, until I got to where I am now, happier than I've ever been. Hail Mary.
With all due respect, Mary was not celibate ; nor can she have a saving power 🙏💖🙏💖🙏. Check out one of Doreen Virtue's videos on Catholicism. Only Jesus Christ can save! Only He died for our sins, not Mary! All those apparitions of Mary are actually demonic; since they lead you away from devoting your life to the only Messiah, who should be the Lord of your life, and who is the only One deserving and worthy of all our praise. I’m praying for you. You’re doing great work. This was a great video, but there are a lot of things here that are not true. Especially about the Catholic faith. One thing that really suck out was going based on feeling. This contradicts what was discussed in other videos about feeling…. So be speaker said they felt a certain way when they walked into a church with dark lights and music. Non of this is needed. While I believe it’s important to have self respect so that people do not abuse you etc - idolizing yourself and valuing yourself above all others doesn’t nurture connection and love for one another - in my opinion, of course.
This may seem random - but it seems that certain people who really promote what you believe are incredibly corrupt (like Oprah). I’m incredibly suspect of people who seem very hell bent on convincing everyone they don’t need God or they don’t need to have humility or they don’t need help… when that’s exactly what brings a person to salvation.
People really struggle with being humble, owning their faults, being “wrong”…. I just find it really interesting
