JACOBITE STEAM TRAIN | Glenfinnan Viaduct, Scotland

There is an amazing train crossing in Scotland known as the Glennfinnan Viaduct, which you can observe the crossing of the Jacobite Express Steam Train. It is located in a stunning landscape of mountains and lakes, and the area is famous for filming of the Harry Potter movies.
The train crossing was something I desired to film, both on camera and drone. The key to filming the train crossing is obviously knowing the train crossing times and also arriving to the location EARLY. We arrived 1 hour before the crossing time and were the first ones there, but people quickly started pouring in about 15 min after we arrived.
This short sequence was shot with the Sony A7SIII, DJI Mavic 2 Pro & DJI Mavic 2 Mini, yes, all at the same time...lol. Again, preparation was key! Thank you to my wife for shooting the thumbnail with the Sony A7III!
