    I swear by the dollar store- makeup brushes are also super helpful for weathering track and locomotives since they apply powders super easy. Love the high quality and detailed videos!

    I also use wooden rulers, yardsticks and paint stirrers. They all come in handy.

    Great video and tutorial abt budget items to use for your model railroad layout. I too got a bunch of Dollar Tree items when watching D.I.Y DIGITAL RAILROAD bcuz he went each week w $5 to find items. He had made a series of videos showing what he bought. I then made a list and purchased these same items and have quite a big collection! Had to eventually get a tote to keep them in but I'm prepared lol. Thanks again for sharing your series of videos with us my friend! Happy Railroading to you from Delmar, Delaware.

    Model trains have gotten to expensive especially now with the country in deep inflation. I had to give it up. Gotta eat and pay rent. Sold what equipment I had.

    I find your videos very informative, it's great to get a different insight into how you go about the different stages of development. Over here in the UK it is not so easy to source items so I would be grateful if you could maybe give web sites where items can be obtained. I am particularly interested in purchasing crossing signals and flasher units which are not easy to come by over here. I look forward to seeing how the layout develops. Kind regards Terry

      Thank you for your comment! The Walmart and dollar tree aren’t in the UK. But after looking it up looks like you have something called ASDA, the same as Walmart I think. Other items you may be able to find on eBay. I’ll try to find specific websites for you if I can

    Hi top railroad sorry I have not been here but Im back and what kind of locomotive would you like to have like a BNSF ET 44 or another switcher locomotives and what song do you use in the background

    • @TopRailroad
      @TopRailroad  2 роки тому

      It’s okay! And that’s a tough one but I’d have to go with the ET 44 cause it’s such a nice looking engine for the mainline. And the background songs are New Day - by Patrick Patrickios and the second one is Meadows - by Ramzoid

    Did you paint both sides of the wood you used for the parking lot? Usually I don’t have issues with warpage if I paint both sides.

      I have tried that and it does help a lot but sometimes the corners bow up still so I stil end up putting heavy objects down on it
