Vanderhall Speedster Complete MicroTrilogy | 2018

The Vanderhall Speedster is no longer offered by Vanderhall but this remains one of my favorite projects I've ever filmed. The brief was simple; A lone wolf travels in a Vanderhall Speedster.
I wanted to tell a story entirely through visuals that would create a feeling of what it would be like to just hit the road in a single seat Vanderhall Speedster.
The main day of filming was from sun up to sun down. 16 hours of driving and filming and driving and filming. We had two Vanderhalls; the vehicle you see in the film and a second for chasing it with the camera. The cast and crew on the day of the shoot consisted of three people, myself, the producer Daniel Boyer and the star of the films, James Reeb.
The little town the character stops in at the end of the first episode is Eureka, Utah. A ruggedly picturesque little town on the edge of Utah and Tooele counties. I'm sure I had driven through it before but it was the perfect find for this project. Everyone who stopped and asked what we were doing were so kind and helpful. It was awesome.
