Driving the 2017 Vanderhall Venice with Paulina Michaels Was a Blast!

- My friend Paulina Michaels was given the opportunity to have the 2017 Vanderhall Venice for a few days so she invited me to shoot an episode with her. I'm usually a big horsepower guy and almost always pro-touring, resto mods & sports cars but this 3 wheeler is a blast to drive! The technology is unique, especially the front suspension and employing front wheel drive and a 70/30 balance ratio to create stability.

Pablo Cruise they’re a lot of fun. Perfect for Vegas strip cruising.
It's a blast to drive. But if you don't like to smile... you probably shouldn't get one. It's a ton of fun. I typically ride motorcycles for my adrenaline rush. But when I drove this... it was a similar kind of rush with a bunch more stability.
Yeah, it’s a fun drive. Wanted to hit the canyons but is was way too hot out.
You guys should have driven through in-n-out burgers with it since your in LA just to get a reaction

In Washington State it's a motorcycle and requires both a helmet and a three wheel endorsement on your license.
I think it makes sense to wear a helmet being this exposed

Didn’t get to drive it hard but it was really nimble. Wanted to hit the canyons but it was so hot out I passed.

@@AutotopiaLA To be fair, it's reg'd as a motorcycle so even if she wasn't it's technically ok? Though, I'd be concerned for Paulina's safety as well.
My best friend used to put the shoulder strap behind her, but I wouldn't start driving unless she wore it properly.

A three wheel car is a bit if a gimmick four wheels are better why make a car with three no real advantage. Doesn't mean its not fun.i few this as a car
Allen Saunders it is a lot of fun to drive and I’m with you. I like bikes with 2 wheels and cars with 4 which maybe makes us both old school?
There are advantages with this vehicle in the twisties--you have no tail to wag you--once you are through a turn it is onto the next seamlessly, additionally, if the road is off camber, the rear of a Vanderhall will not be loading up opposite corners of the suspension vehicle through the turns . That said, none of the design cues could exist as a 4-wheel car. 5 mile an hour bumpers and pedestrian impact ratings of 4 wheel car create barriers to design that limit your capacity to create. Its not for everyone and that's the way we like it.
