- This is a portrait of the Cutter "UNITY", built by Jon Bray of "Westcountry Cutters". She's a traditionally planked 40 foot cruising yacht with a cutter rig based on the well-proven, seaworthy designs of late 19th century and early 20th century working boats.

Now that's a worthwhile boat to sail.
To think, there could be vessels like this, but instead we get endless heaps of bermudans. It's enough to shed a tear over.
I am from Uruguay, 83, ex-yachtsman. I love this sailboat, with early 20th century design. Like those interior details, older faucetts, lamps, stove, etc. A joy to see and sail her.
That's one heck of a boat. My upmost respect to the builder Jon. Thankyou for keeping the tradition alive and kicking .
Thank you, I will gladly pass that on :-)
Absolutely beautiful.
One of the most beautiful things ever built by man.
Just beautiful ,this boat makes my heart race. Interior is outstanding.
Can a boat be more beautiful? Thank you Andy, for this wonderful video.
Leo boat. Pilot cutter too. Tally ho.
lovely! Green pin shackles on the shrouds as a nod to the world of working boats :) and a very beautiful open interior
One of the most beautiful sailboats I ever seen. Definitely Jon is on the top as Woden boat builder. 👏👏👏👏👏
Wholesome is the word. Fit for purpose. And beautiful into the bargain.
Stunning!
Amazing! What an attention to detail and seem to be sailing well.
Perfection

What’s her beast speed on
flat seas ?
Okay Andy....... how much If I wanted to buy one?
You would have to chat to Jon Bray about this... ;-) (see link in description for details)
More money than I could make in ten lifetimes, that's for sure.
How much does it cost to build this wooden boat if in advance we would like to build one now - fully equipped and ready to sail? Then what are the important maintenance steps to plan assuming sustained use of the boat? can someone provide an exploded view of the production costs?
It would be around £300'000 depending on specs. For more information please get in contact with the builder Jon Bray. You'll find his contact details on his website: westcountrycutters.co.uk/contact/
