Great material, thank you for your detailed feedback about all aspects of the game. I've already shared it with our team, and they already have some ideas on how we can improve them with future updates. The next big one comes on December 12, so you definitely should check it out!
I think you speak from the heart, Montana. The game does a lot of things right it seems and hopefully Event Horizon will learn from constructive criticism!
You deserve more subs and views! I just subbed ( thought I had already) You also got to stop these vids last 4 weeks since I found your channel in November sales on steam I have bought Icewind dale pathfinder and pillars in fairness though all those cost me 24 pound pathfinder I had for less than 4 pound. You've just seriously effected my sunlight intake.
I love Ye Olde, but he doesn't really like Owlcat's creations, always diversify your review sources, everyone has some biases, he has some against gameplay formulas and writing styles of Owlcat devs. Not saying that you shouldn't watch, I'll surely watch and will propably love the vid, but I don't make my decisions on one nerd's opinion.
I can deal with the rail-roady gameplay, I can deal with the "boolean" choice at the end of the dungeons and most other stuff, ut I can't deal with the writing in this game.
The biggest problem for me was the story, so the game establishes the conflict between the two factions as this big thing in the beginning, then establishes that the pair of MC were from neutral city, which of course will lead to them joining one of the factions later, that was the logical conclusion of the setup. However the game did not do any effort to make the decision which faction to join hard or even memorable, we did couple of missions for each faction, in which no faction was represented particularly well, as each mission for one faction just shows the other in negative light, when the time came to choose a faction I tossed a coin, this was how little I gave a crap. If you make this large of a choice in the game, make it memorable, make it hard and make it impactful. Make conflict between one of the MC and the other prefer the opposite choice, and this will create rift between them and some of the party members due to their different world view, at lest. When the sister suddenly got knowledge that she shouldn't have, no one reacted beyond, "huh, that is strange", until the plot demanded it, that made no logical sense, it was not just some cheap narrative device to move the plot forward, it was illogical and down right insulting to the intelligence of every one involved that no one even tried to press her harder on the matter, because it was obvious to anyone with more than two brain cells that something was not right. After that I stopped playing.

(Yeah, yeah, I'll check this up and propably liek it too)
First. It came out after 2010 and isn't named The Witcher so it ain't gonna make it to the Masterpiece category.
We are a small indie studio, and we don't aim to be compared to The Witcher, but we are committed to making this game as perfect as it can be. :)
@@EventHorizonGames thanks for the code and thank you for dropping by!
Witcher is overrated af lmao
@acev3521 there are bad opinions and there is this opinion
