Kenny was my childhood hero. Listening to him anyone can see he is sincere, humble and very tactful in answering questions. A wonderful guy and definitely a perfect role model for any aspiring footballer in and off the field.
Sir King Kenny, the only accolade missing is Saint, which he should have received after his handling of the Hillsborough tragedy, or, rather, the amount of effort he put in to comfort the families. An honourable gentleman, humble, makes me weep, to be honest, I am (and always was) in awe of this man.
An absolute legend and what an ambassador for football. A man of great sincerity and who handled himself with great dignity through hard and difficult times. Hail Hail
Wasted in football. This man could have been a leader. He could have shined brighter than mandela. He is humble and gracious. King Kenny
@@maxpathan7927 wasted in football? Don’t be ridiculous. He’s a legend and his career experiences as a player and manager made him the man he is today.
without doubt the best british player of the last 40 years - and not a bad manager either.
Leigh Richards Gazza?
baan58adam LMAO
And a player / manager ! - the complete footballer IMHO.
my dad says that...i was born 78 so a bit before my time...deep down he's a Rangers fan though isn't he? Like Fergie? Course he wouldn't admit it but rangers family surely
as he started at Celtic
THE King of Liverpool, a born and bred from Glasgow.
The greatest player to put pen to paper, play and contribute to our football club on the Mersey, Hail King Kenny!
Giannis Batziolas The Greek Scouser Stevie G is the real king of the kop
How do you know it was a pen or a bit of paper or infact that he put it to it
@@waynemarshall8836 Stevie g but can't be compared to Kenny
@@ayushbhatt8049 i think i was trolling to be honest. I loved dalglish
I saw a lot of King Kenny, that week in 86, he scored league winning goal at chelsea, 7 days later 3-1 v blues at wembley. Great days, great man Kenny. ❤️⚽️
Christ, how random was the interviewer?! kept moving from one subject to another! and bloody miserable too!!!
Kenny's my hero, greatest player I've ever had the privilege to watch.
Hes up there! With the greats pele..cruyff ...Maradona zidane... he must be mentioned in the same breath!!!and asa human the best!!! Ever!
king Kenny my all time fave Liverpool player a true red as still there
One of the greatest
Celtic and Liverpool legend. Hail Hail 🍀
Respect too the king 🤴 ♥️ 7
Hail Hail Sir King Kenny Top Top Player As well As A Top Manager A True Legend No Doubt Liverpool Greatest Player Ever YNWA 👑 Thanks For All The Marvellous Memories
Without doubt the greatest Liverpool player of them all and the greatest manager of all I don't think even the brilliant Alex fergueson could have brought a club and a city through the 2 worst nightmares ever seen and continue winning with such grace as Kenny
if the 2 nightmares you are talking about are Heysel and Hillsboro, then the latter..granted and he deserves great credit...attended every funeral etc... which ultimately it seemed led to stress/mental health problems leading to him resigning and taking a sabbatical prior to Blackburn, the former I'm afraid Rocio if that is what you are referring too was far more of a "nightmare" for the Juventus fans who died, their families, the club etc and not to mention English clubs and english football which was banned from football for 5 years because of the charge of Liverpool fans to the juventus fans inside the admittedly dilapidated stadium
I don't think any suffering in Liverpool in 1985 comes anywhere close to the pain suffered in Turin. Ridiculous and offensive to try and claim anguish from that.
Well Joe Fagan was in charge when Heysel happened but he did take on the job when he resigned to fair play to him
greatest scottish player of my lifetime - shame that we dont have these type of players anymore
The best two opposition players I've seen play at Birmingham were Kenny dalglish and Jan Franco Zola . Both were extremely talented footballers.
I reckon i saw 70% of his LFC career. I was 21 in 86, that week, he scores winning goal to win league at chelsea away, 7 days later he gets us to do the blues at wembley cup final. Double , done. From 75 til 89, i didnt miss many
King-Kenny .
Dalglish stayed in Liddesdale Road, Milton, Glasgow across the street from my Dad.
Russel Campbell no he didn't stop lying.....
Anyone else seen this title and read it as ' The history of Football interviews'?
Good questions mate.
was voted the best British post war player and that's not wrong in my opinion.
Delighted he's a Scotsman.

Interviewer should have been Miked up properly
Yes, the disparity in voice level is very off-putting.
Or should have given him questions before or discuss before the taping. Therefore the question are limited to 1 or 2 every five minutes and let Kenny speak. Kenny doesn’t seem impressed with this interviewer because the answers seem snappy and allegorical.
Falling asleep within the first minute. I'll go back to Rich Roll.
Only took 45 mins to fix the sound 🤣
see if kenny dalglish wiiznay a cadburys dairy milk, he'd still eat himsel'
Zat right ayyeeee
Rangers under Jock Wallace who won two trebles, before we went down hill under Big John, football is like a wheel, it just turns around and around, Rangers will be back, no question about that
no by
without doubt the greatest player to ever come out of scotland n england never produced anybody as good as king kenny either ,pure caviar WORLD CLASS KK 🍀🇮🇪💚
Interviewer with bad mic. Kenny unintelligable (except to Rab C Nesbit)
What a terrible interviewer, chance to open up a legend & manages to bore us to death
Genius on the pitch, not so good with words.
