When I had the 4 corner 5 link LS suspension system installed on my 26,000 lb. motorhome at the LiquidSpring HQ in Lafayette IN. I have the pleasure to test drive the EOG F-550 they have at their facility. The truck was at curb weight, what a phenomenal ride.

Best in class and setting a high bar! I love what you all are doing in this space. Quick question about ride height.... I know in previous videos you have shared that you can lower the height for 15 MPH and under (garage parking, etc). Any thoughts and/or limitations on allowing the option to lower the height when traveling on the freeway at higher speeds to help achieve better MPG?
When the suspension is in its lowest mode, it is essentially riding on the bump stops. The strut is compressed down and does not allow much if any travel. This would pose more of a threat to damage components from any bumps, potholes etc while the vehicle is moving and unable to dampen the impacts of anything on road.
Love the truck!! My question, due to it’s gearing, (for maximum towing and trailering) as an everyday truck, say at 75mph are you close to say 3k on the RPM? I know the 10 speed is pretty good but at unloaded how easy does the truck cruse at 80. Awesome awesome design I love it, it’s engineered and is functional!
Thank you! 70-80mph cruising is right around 2000-2500 rpm.

I can't even fit my 22 Tremor F350 in a brand new standard garage because it's too tall and its stock. I need to see how this thing fits in one.
You need the LiquidSpring difference! When dropped into Low mode on the suspension, our trucks fit into most standard 7’ tall garages.
I just love u guys. Ok Every thing is absolutely phenomenal. just 1 thing........ rear wheels neeeeeeeeeeed spacers... or just tad bit wider tires. if u look from the side, the tire feels inside the fender, which give the appearance of a small tire under a big body. Like Ferraris rear wheels are wider. just putting an inch spacers on both rear wheels will complete the most amazing looking truck or if Goodyear has a inch to 2 inch wider tire will fix it too. Also wheels can use some concave designs. But AMAZING JOB, better then anyone in the whole world. Good luck and lots of love all the way from pakistan lol
Our trucks are built to spec with factory track width. We build our trucks to look incredible but function is the most important aspect to us!
What's the overall width of the Black (and Peak and Limitless) Edition? Same?
We maintain factory track width in all of our truck models. 93" wide.
what's the full length bumper to bumper? same as a F350 with an 8' bed?
F-550 frame is about 4” longer than 350/450 frame. Our 60” CA 179” qb F-550 pickup is about 22.5’ bumper to bumper.

Can you get the F550 black edition with the panoramic roof as an option?
Lariat trim is the highest level on the F550 platform and unfortunately does not come with the panoramic roof.
I wouldn’t get it! My F-350 has the panoramic roof and it’s always failing. When you’re off-road, you can hear the flex from it. Already had to replace the tracks a few times.

Does the F550 come with 4:88 gearscor 4:30s? Do you have options for a truetrac front differential or detroit locker ?
Ford have discontinued the 4.88 gears in the ‘max tow’ package, I’m wondering how well this will perform with a heavy camper & vehicle trailer in tow ??
TFL just used this exact truck for their largest and heaviest towing test they've done. 28,000lbs, 7% grade uphill at 11,000ft elevation. Obviously terrible conditions for towing, but we don't expect anyone to be putting their truck through that on the daily. However, it handled it!

My other question is the 550s are detuned and gave a smaller turbo, don’t question it nor bother to argue, they do , detuned at 350 hp and 850 cause I have 2 of them, when the power level going up

I bet the fuel consumption is absolutely off the chart, especially if your towing to full capacity. Ouch !!!!!
Our trucks average about 13-15 mpg regular driving. Above 25k towing, you'll see roughly 7 mpg.
Random question: does this SRW conversion allow for the truck to go through drive thru car washes? There aren’t really any car washes that accommodate dually configurations (other than pull into a stall and do it yourself). Or is the rear tire outside width the same as the dually? Maybe another way to phrase my question is, how does this tire width compare to a SRW F350?
We maintain factory track width with the SRW conversion. Same width as the standard DRW system.
If you kept the dually, Would the truck exceed factory towing and payload, I m asking because I think the dually looks better.
We maintain factory towing and payload ratings in all of our trucks. You might like our Limitless Edition pickup, which maintains the dually application. There is a video of that truck on our account here as well.
How much horsepower
Any means to get the kit without the liquid Sprring? That system is great, I have driven one, but it is way overkill for my application - Carli 5.5 Pintop would work fine and save me some $.
Not from us. We run LiquidSpring on every one of our builds.
If adding a Bowen Flatbed, what would the estimated cost difference in percentage. Also, do I have a hand in spec'ing out the vehicle items from Ford, i.e., console vault, carpet delete, etc. TIA. Great looking rig! 👍
As far as the Bowen bed, it really depends as they have a few different options to choose from. Regarding custom options from the factory, it's certainly a possibility!

Is there an option to keep the dual rear wheels. Not a single rear wheel guy. If yes what tires are used for a nice stance.
We retain the DRW application in our Limitless package. We run the stock tires, or utilize Nitto Ridgegrapplers.

Yes, absolutely
Is there a cap shell that fits this monster?
Would likely have to be custom - the interior of the bed retains standard 8’ dimensions, but the exterior bedside is 4” longer than the standard F-350/F-450 beds
Do adding the bed to the 550 increase the towing capacity like it do with the 350 and 450?
Tow capacity is a fixed number from the factory, regardless if the truck has a bed or not. The F-550 is rated for 30,000lbs gooseneck pull or 20,000 bumper pull.
What is the width and height fully extended
Of the f550
92” wide, 7’2 tall - adjusts to 7’6 or 6’10. 330hp stock. We have tuning options up to 429 wheel hp.
How are you getting people to insurance on them since they are f550s.
They can be insured as a personal vehicle. Have to find the right agency to do it.

How tall is the cabin chassis
Our Black Edition's clearance lamps sit at 6'10" in the lowest height setting on the suspension. Not sure about stock height, probably around 6'8-6'9

Neither one of them suits my needs. I'm getting ready to retire here soon and become a part time full timer. I'm buying a river stone 4513 toy hauler. 27000 pound trailer. I don't think this truck specs to it on the rear axle loadout. Looking at 4500+ pounds on the rear axle. F450 is where I'm headed.
So what is the benefit of the 450 over the 550 here?
@@elevationoffgrid to me, there is none for the 550. Maybe pulling a boat but a large fifth wheel? No way. The 450 has the rear axle rating that is needed for the trailer. And the 550 looks like a commercial truck.
Personally think it looks kind of goofy, dorky. None for me thanks.

Love the truck but there is no way you are pulling the same weight unless your planing on blowing tires. The chasis and engine can handle it but your tires are only rated for what 7500 maybe 8000 i would love to see this pull the same max weight at regular speed .

We regularly pull 30,000lbs on gooseneck with zero problems at highway speed. TFL recently did a video on this truck running their IKE Gauntlet test with their longest and heaviest load ever.

We do not delete our trucks. However we do have power upgrades via tuning that are available.
