I can't stand Tati, but other than being conceited, she still deserves to have her career. Your character and relationships have nothing to do with your career for the most part. Yes, she did try to destroy James's career, which is exactly the point. No one deserves to be cancelled. It's vile behaviour based on hate trains and herd mentalities. Not good for society at all. People need to learn from their mistakes, instead of buried for them. Tati and others like her would've never even dreamed of trying to pull something like that, if cancel culture didn't exist in the first place. Every single person involved in this drama is just as responsible. Should these millions of people be cancelled too and lose their jobs? Even if they're barely living paycheck to paycheck? Where is the line?
@Kali Ortega I think Shane should be forgiven. Other shock comics like Sarah Silverman, Mark Normand, Jim Jeffries etc have done pedophilia jokes. Jimmy Kimmel & Jimmy Fallon have both done blackface, but they aren't cancelled. Do I like these jokes? No. I don't think they're funny. & Neither does Shane. He's said he's ashamed of his former shock comedy. He's apologized profusely & has vowed to continue to better himself. We also have to take into consideration that he was molested as a kid. It's not an excuse, but it does add a LOT of insight. Being molested is something that completely fucks you up, in some ways forever, trust me I know. In the past I made some pretty crass jokes about it too, things that would get me cancelled in a second if heard by the public, but it was a coping mechanism. I also made some f'ed up jokes about cancer when my dad was dying of it. I told jokes to try to deflect my true feelings. I believe Shane was doing the same. He's said that he should have been in therapy back then & that he is in therapy now. He has not made that kind of content in years. Just like the other shock comics I mentioned, they've all evolved. I think cancel culture is extremely toxic & we as a society need to stop it. I think the only time it can be justifiable is when someone is convicted of a crime, or if they're attempting to infringe on another person's rights.

James Charles, a 19 year old, handled this ridiculous mess of a drama with a lot more maturity and class, than people old enough to be his parents. Tati was a bitter drama queen, who wanted revenge for something very petty, while looking like an innocent victim in the process.
There's a reason James became a millionaire by the time he was a teenager. He's not an idiot. Tati trying to take all the credit for his success was tacky and pathetic. If you truly want to help another person out of the goodness of your heart, then do it, shut up about it and don't get mad, when they dare to not be your lapdogs 24/7. She is obviously very insecure about her product being useless. Not James's fault. I'm not even a fan of his, but good on him for coming out of this hell victoriously. It's normal to make mistakes at 20, or 30, or even 50 years old. However, it's more likely that at 20 you will make more mistakes because you have a lot less life experience to go off of.

@@omotayouthman118 she didnt really like one revolution palette made in collaboration with another youtuber and someone random on youtube gave her unecessary shade (making it weirdly personal). So tati made another video adressing the situation and reviewing the palette once more (it still sucked). In all honesty I am not that much of a fan of her after the james drama because I think the drama was a huge cash out, but back then she really put them in their place.

I'mma be honest, the fact that that woman was SO hyperfocused on her claim that James was predatorily tryna seduce 'straight' guys the entire time didn't sit well with me from the start. Let me put it this way. If a straight guy actively pursued lesbians who he KNEW were lesbians, and often talked about liking lesbians, thinking they're hotter, being attracted to the "challenge" the provide, would people be okay with it? NO THEY WOULDN'T.
It's gross as all hell. Doesn't matter what you are, whether gay or straight, man or woman, no one should be disrespected like that.
It's one thing to not know someone's sexuality, but if they say they're straight and you're the same sex and continue pursuing, that's creepy. If they say they're gay and you're the opposite sex and continue pursuing, THAT'S STILL CREEPY.

I used to be fans of all of them but I am so confused as to why Tati and Jeffrey aren’t facing backlash. They literally ruined his life with these serious accusations with no proof and have not apologized. And they have the nerve to take the moral high ground. I think it’s because people WANTED to hate a kid that honestly did have some flaws: he’s young, he’s successful, he’s got a huge ego BUT he kept the receipts to prove his innocence. U should still see the comments I see on drama channels of people still believing what was proved to be a lie. They keep thinking it’s a conspiracy and i myself felt so bad for believing a mother figure tati bc she seemed SO genuine and then I was proven Sooooo effin wrong. I was so wrong. I still facepalm thinking back on it. 😅
Tati claims to be looking for "light" and "healing" in situation she created where she ruined a kid's life and reputation. When you're 19 your mental health is fragile, not many kids could take that level of bullying. I agree, it's plain wrong.

If I was James Charles I would make an example out of Tati and Jeffrey Starr by suing them. You know he took a financial hit over all of this. It is no laughing matter to accuse someone of being a predator. Do I think he would win no (dad retired lawyer) but I do think people would not be so quick to slander someone's character the way these two did over the internet.

Also Tati husband is a lawyer he is going to go all out to protect his wife. Not only financial if I was to be honest as someone that suffers from depression, mental as well. The backlash they created could have easily led him to end his life.

He lost 3 million subscribers on UA-cam alone, has had to cancel his tour, and had his merch shop shut down. His credibility was trashed, which is his brand, so the damage will be ongoing, although he did repair some of the damage. I think if Tati's husband was a good lawyer he should've advised against her original post, but I thought he was a businessman
I don't think it is a easy case to win but I do think he should seek legal action. Sadly our court system does not work like it should. Not only was my dad a lawyer but I worked for the Saint Louis Police Dept. for eight and a half years. The Christian Thomas case is one personally that comes to mind, kid was endangered missing. The report was over three hundred pages and around thirty hard physical evidence pointing to abuse and murder. His body has never been found or anyone arrested but due to the the great investigation you know what happened and who was responsible. I can't imagine my friends turning on me like those two did. He lost serious dough in the process, I personally think he should sue but I know it would be a hard case to win due to how shitty the courts are. I want him to do it anyway.

I think Jeffree star and others have drama channels (ex: tea spills, shook etc) on their payroll. They basically pay them to be on their side. That's why the drama has kinda died out and no one holds tati and jeffree accountable anymore. Those channels blew the james situation out of proportion and accused him without anything to back it up. But when tati and jeffree were being exposed they suddenly went impartial. Just a theory...
Jefree has been trying to be on drama channel good side for years. First, he contacted Sanders Kennedy who was at the time the top drama channel and soon as he contacted him, Sanders was fangirling over Jefree and no longer being critical. Then when Sanders channel flopped Jefree never showed interest again. Then, he moved on to Rich Luxe, invited him over his home, hanged out and basically is now his biggest defender. Then he started giving "direct access" to some drama channel to ask for his side of the story, therefore, everyone was saying that Jefree was SO Honest and nice to them, at this point is obvious thye don't want to lose that access by badmouthing him. The rest are just brainwashed by Shanes documentary and make excuses for his bad behavior.
