      I don’t necessarily believe he’s trying to be insincere I think the “consensual workplace relationship” was meant to be specific to the situation a lot times work place harassment or grooming happens I think Ned wanted to be clear on the situation so there wasn’t any question weather it was cancel culture is big right now I’m sure he just wanted to be clear.

    I gotta agree that couples who are overly affectionate in public are over compensating for something. My husband's cousin cheated on his wife with a younger woman (and a few more) while parading his wife in public. He married the mistress, and they are the up-in-your-face PDA type people, putting others down because "they're so perfect". Anyways, he cheated on her too.

      That can be true, but the love language of both my partner & I are physical touch & we just enjoy being around one another as much as we can (given we don't suck face in public, but we do hug & give quick pecks, etc.) some people are just naturally this way

    It wasn’t just any old employee, it was Alex! She’s been involved in videos, is a producer, and pretty much another face of the try guys business. They’ve also known each other and worked together for years. I doubt this was completely a manipulative situation due to power imbalance. I fully believe they were 100% both willing partners in this whole thing.

      She had been one of the producers of the Try Guys even when it was just a segment on BuzzFeed, so they started out as coworkers and friends. I doubt there's a manipulation there. She also have a questionable morals as she bragged about how she tried to shoot her shot with Post Malone despite him telling her he has a girlfriend who was pregnant at the time, so clearly she have a type.

      And yeah, she gets to keep her job when he loses his. HE WAS THE EMPLOYER. Firing somebody based on whether they fucked their employer or not (either way) is exactly what most sexual harassment lawsuit liability is based on. The remaining Try Guys are trying to avoid that.
      As far as the law is concerned, there's no difference between Ned and Harvey Weinstein. "You work for me, fuck me." Maybe she says no and never works again, or maybe says yes and gets to keep her job. Whether she was into it isn't what matters, what matters is that *he* created the situation.
      Legally and financially, 0% of what she did matters. 100% of what he did matters. That's what the other three "guys" have to deal with.
      So yeah, she keeps here job. They can't fire her based on whether she fucked her boss or not.

      We dont know the whole story of who came on to whom, or if there was any pressure due to the power imbalance, but the fact is she also bears responsibility for this betrayal. And she should deal with the consequences of her actions the same way ned should. It was a terrible thing what they did and there shouldn’t be any sugar coating on that

She has been on the Try Guys Podcast and has told stories about how she tried to get Post Malone to ditch his pregnant girlfriend and take her to do shots. Post Malone turned her down. That’s her MO. She tries to get rich/famous/powerful guys drunk by doing shots and get them to take her home. She’s not an innocent victim. She’s complicit.

    I love Ethan but him not wanting to say the girl’s name because he doesn’t want her getting mobbed with hate is the stupidest take. Alexandria Herring is the girls name who Ned cheated with. Ethan not wanting to reveal the girls name “Alexandria Herring” doesn’t help with this cheating issue in society. I wanna make it clear I fully agree with the scrutiny that Ned is receiving. But BOTH Ned and Alexandria are in the wrong and BOTH deserve equal backlash. Keep in mind Ethan stated that Alex had a fiancée and was also fully aware of Ned’s Marriage. I’m sick and tired of acting like the women who are involved In these cheating scandals are treated like children and can’t be held accountable like adults for the stupid choices they made. If two adults decide to cheat on their partners they should both receive equal scrutiny and shame for it.

    Yeah, as a long time fan, I always thought it pretty weird that Ned rarely called Ariel by her actual name. I thought they were just memeing, but now it seems like that’s how he saw her. Just as “his” to do what he pleases. He enjoyed the adoration from the fan base for making Ariel his brand.

      It’s probably legally tricky for them to just terminate her if there wasn’t a clause about office relationships in her contract. Ned is a partner who could be bought out but she is an employee and you can’t legally fire someone just for being messy.

      That's often the case if you have dark hair. I had my first small patch of white hair at 18. Now, at 35, it's pretty clear this is as close to "salt and pepper" as I will ever have because by 40, this shit will be ALL white. Not even grey. Just snow white. Of course things like genetics and stress factor in as well. But if you have dark hair, you are probably at risk for being slapped around a little by some premature grey/white hair. Lol

    New lesson from this: Engagements shouldn't go longer than ~5 years unless there are legitimately logical reasons for the delay (long distance, outside factors getting in the way, etc).
