$200 for that room is unbelievable! What a great deal for a great experience!
Seriously, such a deal.
I want to go down to Germany just for this with my 911 in the future. 😂
Bit worried how they are dealing with carbon monoxide poisoning and all but seriously Hotel. (probably what the first door is for)
@@PRS_Trading Hey, I was looking at the PRS trading website. What is it? What type of service is it?
@@PRS_Trading because you turn off your car once you're at your room, and the place you park is outside, it'd be no different than parking in your garage
If you miss a connecting flight, this hotel is one of the options. Lufthansa gives you a voucher for. I highly recommend you use it nice hotel good buffet breakfast even if you’re not bringing a car
As a German myself... Thank you!
Thank you for enjoying our Autobahn the way it was intended.
Thank you for driving safe even when going over 200km/h
Thank you for using your indicators
Thank you for staying on the right lane whenever it is possible
Thank you for not overtaken on the right
It's a blessing to watch this video since I am one of those people who goes out and just drives fast (200+) just because I enjoy it
Here is why ‘bring your own cable’ for AC makes sense:
FYI - all cars in Europe are sold with an AC-cable, it’s a ‘part’ of the car.
1, design: stalls look more clean and doesn’t need cable management to look clean.
2, vandalism: much more difficult to vandalise an ac charger with no cable.
3, issues (cost): a charging cable is very expensive, not having to cover that cost and maintenance means that charge point providers can focus on putting more chargers in the ground.
4, trust: when you bring your own cable YOU know how that cable was treated - a trusted connection between your expensive vehicle and the charge point.
imagine driving a microwave
If you're trying to tell me that my car is a microwave OVEN because it's electric then, well, I can report that that microwave oven is very comfy and dirt cheap to drive and maintain.
@@andersn8547Yet you’re paying for a handicapped vehicle with much less range and basically no infrastructure for it. Not worth it.
@@zenmashofficial The advantages of EV ownership far outweighs the disadvantages. If you drive less than 250 miles a day and have your own driveway you never have to visit a 'gas' station again.
I don't know where you live, but here in Europe infrastructure for EVs are on par with ICE-infrastructure.
@@andersn8547 I very much live in Europe and the only thing its useful for is if you basically isolate yourself in your own city. The infrastructure is terrible and a normal 6 hour trip will take you 8 or more hours.
Then we have the long charge time whereas filling up an ICE car takes 5 minutes. There are more disadvantages than advantages present day.
"Just out for a gentle cruise at 220-240km/h" 😮
If I had to guess about the sliding glass door with a glass wall behind it, I'd wager that the hotel was built as a normal hotel with a normal balcony with a sliding glass door to get to it - then they added the car elevator and because not all cars are EVs, they had to add fume-separation, so they added the solid wall and the "airlock" double swinging doors.
Always nice to see you in Germany.
Thing 1) Kyle, thank you for always taking us along your adventures in a myriad of ways!
Thing 2) Anyone else expect to have Out of Spec (Hotel) Reviews? I sure didn't, but glad I do now! ON-THE-LIST!!!!
Also, thr Porsche, driving sounds, the motors humming along, sound so beautiful! Great ambient audio capture!
Saw a few pictures about this on Twitter a couple days ago and just thought it was science fiction. So cool!
They put 2 glass for better sound insolation, as well as where you walked in u had 2 door, I believe it helps since the hotel is near a busy highway
And the airport right next to it as well
Kyle, looks like Germany becomes your second home right? Always great to see reviews from my home country and state. Welcome! Yes Autobahns are very occupied during the week, best time is 2am - 4am
Amazing video Kyle. You always bring some cool stuff.
Had a grin on my face from the moment you arrived at the hotel 😅
And the Taycan PA is out of this EV world
Nah this is amazing
This is so cool.
this video was really awesome, love from italy
Such a cool video. Very informative, cool presenter, amazing car, awesome hotel. Subscribed!
Amazing content , first time watching
OK thats awesome Kyle
WOOOOW! really sick!!! what a cool elevator and hotel ;) nexl level, no worlds actually.
Wow, I just added that hotel to my list lol. Thanks for this video
Nice. Great price
würzburg! i love that city
awesome
thats insaneee
So cool
Rare T-shirt Kyle 😮
That's an insane price for this room hahaha. Amazing. So cool
I don't think it was a Autobahn at minute 6:00. Autobahns have blue signs while federal highways (Bundesstraßen) have yellow signs. The speed limit on federal highways is 100 km/h.
There are highways with the yellow signs that are built to autobahn standards, and are unlimited. Though it is rare, they majority are limited. The colors only really signal the funding. The yellow colored ones are financed by the states, or the municipality if they pass through a town. The blue ones are always financed by the federal government.
@@fabianoelck6899 They dont even have to be build to Autobahn standards to be unlimited. They just need a structrual separation between your side and the oncoming traffic. it was the case here, so he was allowed to drive faster than 100 km/h (unless there was an indicated speed limit)
I’m from Würzburg and this street is actually unrestricted. It’s a Bundesstraße.
6:20 Autobahn starts
@@DerDoJohe’s still going way too fast at night.
Doing 1000 km challenges now, Kyle ? Bjorn ?
USA needs to take some notes prices for our hotels is crazy 😂
Forgive my ignorance, but what is “magic carpet light”? Google failed me.
Wow, truly an amazing car and hotel. The hotel rate seems seriously low compared to what we see in the US.
Was that one of those crazy V12 TDI Q7s we don't get?
My black Chevy Bolt EV would look so kool on that balcony. Gr8 vid as usual. 🚗🇺🇸🇩🇪🔌⚡
The BMW i5 is really impressive on the autobahn too
nice
Is the Turbo version a good daily driver?
Premier Inn allow me to store my e-bike in my room, but this is next-level...
How do you find communicating in German / English ? My Duolingo is not going to manage my upcoming visit think 🤣
cool idea, but what happens if the lift broke down?
Did the hotel get back to you about the charging issue?
Dream Hotel Room for a Car junky
That hotel is Crazy! Wow. Only problem is if the elevator breaks. I would feel so uncomfortable with no other way to get my car out.
No worry - there is an emergency slope downwards just in case for your car. 😁
Bros car is never getting stolen 😂
After a charging session with ending battery temp at 45c and sports plus setting for the extra cooling , my Taycan shut off the ac to increase car performance. Anyone get this before?
Highway driving at 160 mph is insane.
Anybody know where i can find that wireless charging pad side table?
Nice, now it’s fully charged you have enough range to get to the lobby 😂
Yeah, you still saying Würzburg wrong, but it is not an easy one. Besides, who am I to say something like that, exposing fellow Americans with my German accent every day.
Where is this hotel?
At first him going 258kmh, I thought this was a video game.
So 6:!0 you were on a upbuild land road which has a limit of 100 KMH or when posted 120 KMH, the Autobahn/Highway system Always uses Blue Signs instead of the Yellow/Orange ones
Kyle didn't sleep this night just looked at the car lol.
Why did he leave the car lights on all night
I wish we could have an autobahn in the US. Watching the cars in front of you move out of the left lane right away is glorious. Nobody gives a shit here
Im not aware about a boost option?!?!
we can't have things like this in the US because people would break it too fast
So driving 130km at speeds on average of 220kmh will eat about 60% of battery
24:23 lol lol lol
$200 in Rhode Island is a motel 6
Nice car but I would prefer my old Mercedes cars XD
They won't bother me in winter when the weather is like very cold.
I own a Mercedes W201 190D 2.0 which reached over 1.428.000km with it's original engine and also I have my old, overpowered Mercedes W140 S600 V12.
Those are fun to drive, on the 190D I have a modification which drives me on the full tank for 890km while driving 115kmh and my overpowered S600 has a LPG (Liquified Petrolium Gas) system which only uses gasoline to warm up the engine and then it switches to LPG which costs me around 1€ per liter. Sure, it's kinda stupid since I'm getting 2700€ on my bank account from my job and I'm also earning 5840€ per month from all the apartments and buildings that I rent but still I'm not stupid to spend around 2€ for the right gasoline since the cheaper options like the Super E10 in Germany or E10 in Spain and Poland would destroy the beautiful V12 engine.
Also, if you live in the EU, don't mistake the LPG Gas with CNG Gas. CNG is more dangerous, harder to get and more expensive. Also, VW showed with their CNG Tourans, what happens if there's a little corroded spot on the gas tanks that were mounted under the cars
Look at this EV Hotel service it is a glimpse at future branded housing and Hotel and living Mercedes is building a Mercedes Benz branded Skyscraper in Dubai now…150 Apartments and maybe elevators to 150 Apartments for the cars
Get your act together NHTSA, you guys are way behind in headlight technology. Time to get rid of that 1970 rules.
👍🌟😎🌟👍
Germany and most of Europe, in general, are much more progressive than the U.S. in regard to EVs and charging infrastructure. So many more EV models are available than we have in the U.S.
it's much much much more then that.
education, human rights, workers rights, rail infrastructure, road infrastructure, bike infrastructure, electrical infrastructure, emission standards, updated laws for regulations and designs, safety standards, etc. you don't know how much is different till you actually visit.
The low-light performance of the handheld/phone camera is terrible. Love the content but I’m kinda picky about quality
it goes from 100% to 42% in 1 hr?
not a very good touring car i would bet
No tub .. You have been tricked ..
Not a fan of the fake noise.
Props for saying Porsche and not porsh, like a lot of the other idiots out there. But you failed with Würzburg :)
He says "Porscha" not "Porsche"
Kyle it’s time to move on whit a camera that suits your channel move to 4k 😂 your content is Amazing
You’re not allowed to go that fast at night.
And you broke the speed limit on the video. You were not on an Autobahn, but a normal Landstrasse, so since the lanes are split, the speed limit there would have been 130. You went double that. Congrats to losing your license for life.
🤓
Question, did he speed? Yes. Did he speed safely? Yes. So what’s the issue here. It’s Ppl like you need to be punished.
