Sander, I really enjoyed this video. There are very few dealers/collectors showing ORIGINAL tunics and giving explanations like you did. It seems to be mostly repos for reenactments. I would like to see more of your man cave. 😊 That M42 grouping is amazing. I would drive two hours for it as well!
I really enjoyed the video a lot. A great suggestion for a video would be on other SS tunics that I believe you have. Would like to see an in dept explanation on all of the insignia on the breast of the jacket and the sleeves. I also would like to see more of your personal man cave. Very envious of your collection. Greetings from Canada
Thank you Sander a very informative video describing the different model tunics very interesting , keep the video’s coming please hopefully in the future some Luftwaffe/ Fallschirmjager smock & fligierbluse uniforms, Regards Murray Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you, Sander, for an informative and very interesting video. It is very good of you to take the time to share some of your knowledge. - (Ray in Thailand)
Thank you for making and sharing this video and the information, very well done! I am looking forward to viewing more. This is very helpful for other collectors.
Another excellent video Can I ask for your advice please On an army tunic would the Close Combat Clasp in bronze be worn with the army infantry assault badge in silver? Thank you for your help
Ya know I really like your videos and the information you provide. But for the longest time I couldn't figure out why it was familiar then it hit me. BOW CHICKA WOW WOW It's the music It reminds me of late night soft porn you find flicking at 2am. So keep UP the good work and keep the videos COMING. LMAO THANKS PS: Side note always check the pockets you'll be surprised what you find.
As a former dealer in third Reich militaria for nearly 40 years I feel obligated to tell any would be collector that anything from that era in cloth and especially SS will be either played about with or at least have authentic insignia on a reproduction tunic which will have been aged faded and battle damaged according to what bullshit story the dealer wants to spin! The M40 tunic in this video in my opinion is no more than a few decades old and certainly not over 80 years of age! This hobby is a goldmine for forgeries there a horror stories going back to the early 1980’s when Hitler personal parade cap went unsold at Philips auctioneers in London because of dubious stories circulating at the time of its origins! Personally I will only deal with private collectors now who I have known for the time I have been buying and selling as I do not trust any dealers in Europe especially the London based one such as Quartermasters and Malcom fishers son who has taken up where his father left off and basically fakes 90% of his stock (his father had a steamer trunk full of original insignia to kit kit out an SS Battalion) good luck everyone and remember also let common sense prevail when knowledge is lacking ie how old does a 80 year old combat tunic need to look?
How I wish I could afford more bits and pieces.. Bevo is best dealer and best videos which are very informative, keep up the good work.
Another brilliant video, one of the best sellers of militaria at the moment!
So much insignia has been added to Waffen SS tunics . It's extremely hard to find a completely original tunic.
Very nice tunics! Very informative video! 👍🏻
