Most of these tunics were private purchase which means if you had the money, whether you were an officer or a private you could pay what you wanted. Some officers decided to just get very basic of the peg tunics some didn’t. Some NCOs decided to spend all their money on a well Tailored tunic so they could walk the streets looking smart. You haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about have you?

These people are the best In the world and I believe these tunics have been pictured and documented down the line,most of the people buying these items are extremely intelligent collectors and expect iron clad documents for these items.

It was an obergruppenfuehrer uniform not a gruppenfuehrer. No pip brigadefuehrer, 1 pip gruppen, 2 pips ober gruppen, 3 pips oberstgruppenfuerer, wreath reichsfuehrer ss.
Often many collectors will loan out their collections to museums for a fee, or sometimes they will do it for free if the museum pays for the insurance it’s also great kudos for the collector to have his collection displayed. By the way, the summer tunic went for €1,550,000 the bidding went crazy after 1 million personally I think people just lost the plot in this auction. Some of the visor caps went for stupid money (and they were all very small head sizes) I spent including commission just over £30,000 UK at this auction and I managed to buy nearly everything I bid on, but I knew what I wanted, I think some people were just desperate to buy something that was owned by David, which is why the prices just escalated?
What part of the presentation was excellent? Two men who can barely speak English talking about a subject Neither which are qualified to present? The Little Italian man could easily have doubled as a used car salesman, as all he interested in is his commission. The other lumbering Hulk would look more suited to working in some forest in Siberia making wooden shelters for the homeless! Neither of these men are experts in anything other than talking rubbish.

All the visor caps were an average size of 54 inches (just about fit my 14-year-old nephews head) One of the smallest actually went for €12,000 because everybody scrambled to try and get a piece of this collection for posterity. Once I had won my bids, I couldn’t care less and just enjoyed watching the whole facade of greed and stupidity play right in front of my eyes, the estate of Delich must be pissing themselves with laughter over the folly of some of these idiots who paid way over the odd prices for some of this stuff? They even had the gall halfway through to start increasing the minimum price on items when they knew they could get more money for them. This was a case of pure greed and nothing else it was absolutely disgusting and I’m just glad it’s all over.

The collar tabs on Himmler's tunic is not limited to Himmler! In fact Artur Axman ,the leader of Hitler jugend has the same collar tabs as the Reichsführer, tough Axman didn't wore an SS uniform
Incredible Himmer tunic. Saw it on WAF. Odd that its dated 38, read the white summer tunics were introduced in the summer of 1939, and basically only ever worn then. Could've been tailored before then, in 1938. SSTV collar tabs with the Sturm or Sturmbann number I believe were just ''NCO'' tabs. Enlisted wore bare skulls, for the early field grey uniforms. On the black uniforms that didn't apply. Embroidered skulls for the field grey uniforms, aluminum for the black uniforms.

From the beginning on it was created to fight in a war, and every member who joined the SS-VT was officially a Soldier, absolving their Wehrpflicht. They werent very good Soldiers, as seen in the early campaigns, but soldiers nontheless. And the Totenkopfverbände were also not paramilitary, but officially created for all sorts of police tasks. But as we know, they only were used for one task, guarding the concentration camps. The Allgemeine SS on the other hand of course was paramilitary, they were a civilian organisation of the NSDAP while having uniforms and a military rank structure.

does anybody have a idea how many item of the Waffen SS General Major and SS Brigadeführer Gustav Krugenberg there still are left till this day? and how much his SA beltbuckle and beltloops would be worth? as i should have those two (three as there are two beltloops) items of the General major from his time in the SA (1932-33) as a Propaganda minister and funkkomissar... why do i think its his? because my great grandfather and his brothers had good connections to Gustav, even after the war, and as my great grandfather was a Waffen SS Sturmmann in the 2nd grenadier regiment of the Prinz Eugen division from 43-44 and his brothers were a Wehrmacht Unteroffizier and a Oberfeldwebel Fahnenjunker (both only fought till ´42 as one lost his leg and the other one died in leningrad...) ,and to my knowlege, he didn´t know other SA members... atleast not personaly (though their father was a member of the NSDAP and ww1 veteran as a pioneer of the 246th regiment with the EK1, but i doubt that he got it from there... if anybody wants to see a picture of it, then idk i guess hit me up and i will send ya a picture of it)

Alex, I bought from this auction on Wednesday just gone, and spent over £30,000 that includes the 29.5% auction fee and I must say your standard of English when describing these items, (that I’m very passionate about) is extremely irritating! I have no problem with foreign accents, in fact I find them quite endearing. I am bilingual as I am half German and moved to England when I was very young, but you need to learn how to pronounce the English words you say, otherwise it becomes annoying to the point where I want to turn off your videos, which would be a shame. Just some constructive criticism and that’s all?😁
I would need some provenance on these items, this is the most replicated stuff in the world…..DNA tests or something…….not to mention the ribbons are all messed up or missing……way overpriced. If it’s the holy grail I would think it would be better protected and not in some flea market.
