What a wonderful show and video Sander! Very well done to you, Jan and the others who organise this show - Please keep us all posted to attend the 2025 version! Loved the old War & Peace show held every year here in Kent, UK but sadly that now seems to have finished forever. Maybe reach out to the big UK reenactor groups who used to always be at War & Peace, such as the British Airborne and 2nd SS group, who have some wonderful tanks, vehicles as I am sure they'd love to attend your show. So nice to see the market and the dressed reeanactors and owners on the vehicles, looks so authentic!

Another great video and - for those interested - Houten is a great show with militaria from different time periods and nations, so everyone is sure to find something there ex. Dutch, British, US, French, German, Japanese stuff etc.

I bought an M42 and I'd like to know if it's a real German helmet or a reproduction or something. My M42 has a small c with a little line above, followed by k l, then a blank space 4 stamped in the back and a 4 digit number of 3248. Underneath that number it has a C f S, and it looks like it was struck twice, and the C f S is in white like paint was put on it and wiped off, I take it that it could be someone's initials of their name. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

At home i have a german affe backpack and on one of the leather straps it says , 1./J.R.2 , does anyone know what the J R stands for, the R is regiment i think so nr 1 company from J.Regiment 2 (on the other strap it says 3 beob. Abt. Which i do know the meaning of)

I attend this show every year (my Father was Selling there again (we are locals) this year and I missed this year). I’m saddened for two reasons, one for not seeing my Dad and two, being able to buy and sell as I’ve done for many years there and look forward to going each time. I collect Victorian campaign medals and ww1 and 2 items. But i always find them cheaper in the USA. I found a Military general service 6 bars for the Peninsula War in CA for $675 last yr. Soldier on rolls!

I think the market sets the prices and there is always competition for good things. On top of that Bevo carry a huge stock with the assurance of each item being guaranteed. I'd rather buy something I really want from them with piece of mind than take my chances buying at a show. Having said all that I agree that the hobby is very expensive nowadays and that takes a lot of the pleasure out of it. Thanks for another great video-it's great that you share your knowledge and I always use your videos as web site for reference. All the best.

Nice video again Sander, thanks. Interesting to see another USA show which is a long trip from the UK/Europe. Usual huge range of USA & German WW2 items and a typically older demographic, like many shows in the USA and Europe. And a dealer with something else other than WW2 - but Repro Napoleonic shakos and chapzka of course as they are super-rare and mostly in museums.
