The Bucks are so awful, they can make Omega seem competent.
Even Jim has said Kenny at least looks like a wrestler from an aesthetic standpoint. Bucks can't even do that much.

Kenny is a top-tier wrestler when he's against somebody serious like one of the top New Japan guys he used to wrestle.

@@daleharris3809 I mean, you don't need to have a body-building physique or be fat to be a wrestler. Skinnier, leaner, smoother bodies can also be good wrestlers, and nobody seems to complain about the women.
Issue is how you work, inside the ring, on the mike, what your character is how you are presented, the psychology, the whole package.
Kenny, whether you like it or not, has diversity, while his psychology isn't top notch it isn't exactly shit-tier either, can carry and be carried in a match, can tell a story, can both "spam moves" as well as make the moves mean something, and all things considered, as far as I know, he isn't a backstage politician trying to hold others down or fuck up a show.
The Bucks have better promo abilities, and that's kind of it. Their athleticism exists, but their matches are overly-repetitive. Psychology and story-telling are non-existent, they do backstage fuckery and through stupidity, narcissism and carelessness contribute to the fall of what was initially a promising new company, and from what I've seen, they're a couple of arrogant tools that greatly overstate their importance in this world.
I mean, I think it's a clear difference in multiple aspects.
The “hospital” Kenny was in looked like it had Dr. Nick Riviera from “The Simpsons” as its Chief Of Medicine.

Honestly I think Kenny wants out. At this point he doesn't care who he pisses off and just telling it like it is.
Especially considering his new contract runs until 2027, and I doubt at this point that he’s willing to wait that long to leave.
He’s just re evaluated his life and career since the illness. He’s had time to just sit and think about his life.

He’s talked in his stream about how he was so sick from the diverticulitis, the pain meds, and antibiotics that he couldn’t even get out of bed or watch tv at times. He’s admitted to not watching much of it until recently. He watches what he wants to. He watches select parts of the shows he said if even that. I just think he’s realized a lot about himself and what he wants since almost dying

Omega's promos are getting better, and he's even selling the attack. Which is a lot more than Tony and "Super" Pockets can do. Hell, you almost felt bad for Kenny until he announced the return of Football Field Fuckery. That killed the whole promo for me.

First time i got diverticulitis it put me in the hospital for 4 days. Worst pain of my life. Had it flare up a few times since. I am sympathetic towards anyone with it.

Good point, the "Traitor" storyline always hits harder if the traitor is a top guy people like and care about. Also, would've made more sense if Okada did it as a heelish outsider from another promotion. Which could've led to an interesting NJPW vs AEW feud. But of all the options, Tony went with the worst one for some reason.

Natural? I don't know about that. He often sounds and acts like he's playing Peter Pan in the school play. Silly at best, insufferable at worst.
It makes no sense to me that a week after getting attacked, Tony's only response is that he cant travel. No threat of The Elite not getting away with it, no one from the roster saying they were going to get even for Tony. It is like he didnt matter at all.
On another note, Tony should have watched Eric Bichoff take a gut shot from Joker Sting to see how it should have been done

It’s honestly a shame with Kenny’s real life health issues that Tony can’t have a quality heel against him. I’ve never liked Kenny’s matches but Kenny is really trying with this and everyone involved fucking sucks. MJF would’ve been flawless in this role. He would’ve had nuclear heat.

Joe vs Swerve, Edge vs Buddy, Briscoe vs Jericho, Lethal vs Strong, Stlander vs Willow and The Bucks vs Tavin & Bennett. Build up the baby faces and heels for the next PPV switch the title holders when necessary and go from there

Brian made a good point about these being good angles being wasted. One of the biggest criticisms of the NWO was how they allowed subpar talent to water down a very cool and edgy group. Now imagine if that subpar talent had been the start of the NWO. Imagine Vincent, Disco Inferno and Van Hammer at Bash at the Beach 96. That entire angle would have been DOA.
It’s almost not believable that a professional wrestling promotion could have this bad of booking…. WWE/Vince in their worst era of booking was 10 times better than what AEW does. I’m a lifelong fan, no booking experience, but I guarantee I could come up with much better storylines.
I feel like the best thing for AEW right now would just shut down completely for about 6 months. Use that time to trim down the roster to the ones that are worth keeping which is only about 25 to 30 let the other 100 go. Hire a real team of writers keep the veterans to help train all the ones that need which is about 25 mic skils and ring skils. Keep about 20 of the girls and do the same Tony needs to stay off camera no scrums nothing hire Vince Russo Bully Ray to book and run the shows only have 2 shows. Try to get a streaming deal with ROH content use ROH like WWE does with NXT ask help from OVW or just buy them out Al can help format the shows and train the wrestlers to work main thing is Tony Clown stay off TV
