Wonderful and very inspirational video guys! Looking to connect my wood pool to an existing deck, digging and laying a cement foundation of 18" deep so levels are right. Looking forward to getting up in the morning and seeing the sun glistening on the water

While composite decking is very nice to look at and works great for a regular deck, I would not recommend it for a pool deck. It transfers heat much faster than wood and can burn bare feet and skin. No one will be sitting on the deck with their feet in the water when the deck is 100 degrees. It will also greatly increase the cost of the deck since it is much more expensive AND you will most likely want to place your joists 12 inches on center rather than 16 inches to prevent future warping. More joists = more money.

@@narutosan1377 Treated wood. My sister has a composite deck and it looks great but in the middle of summer they have to carry the dog across it, to let him do his business. While wood heats up too my dog has never been afraid to walk across my wood deck.

Whatever I can think of: a three level pool with slides from one to another with trampolines to bounce back up. And infinity edges on the upper two.
    O.k. Let's get started!

Do you have to leave yourself a way out because I thought every couple years you had to drain the pool and replace the liner just trying to figure out how you would get to it if you have a deck around it

Drain it with a pump, get in, mop in out, and refill , my liner lasted 7 years, I covered in winter time and shut the pump off, cleaned it every spring, this way,

@@RLD3743 what wears out the liner? Do they get sun damage? Freeze damage?
