I wash my face with water in the morning and a TINY amount of cerave cleanser at night (or even none!)....my face feels and looks better than when I used face wash religiously day and night, excellent advice for my dry skin! TY Dr Dray...
i just have to say you're brilliant and I am thrilled I found you. I am loving the Cerave cream in the tub for my body instead of using the scented stuff from Bath&Bodyworks.

I'm not really a youtube Vlog follower but I have LOVED yours ! Great job and at 42, I found you because I knew there had to be a better way to get this hormonal acne under control. Thanks to you even a couple of days of combining salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide has made a huge difference. How come no one ever told me that ? YEARS of seeing dermatologists and this simple combo *may be my holy grail.
i started watching your videos 5 months ago and let me tell you ... it cured my acne . Thank you so much ❤️ i used to spend so much money on skincare for my acne like 79$ for a face wash ... but now its so simple and my skin is loving it ! I have no more breakout and my pigmentation is gone ! Xxx

Love your videos Dr. Dray! I just wanted to point out that some people do need to use soap on their body. What you said about just using water is so true. I’ve been washing my face with water only the last two years and i have less breakouts.. just one or two pimples usually before my period or when i lack sleep but they just usually dry out the next day..i stopped putting stuff on my face after so many years of using so many acne products that just worsen or just temporarily stops the acne buts comes back with a vengeance. love your videos and how i wish ur were there 20 years ago...
WOW........so many different types of ingredients ,I will stay with the most gentle ones that work for me,....Thank you Dr. Dray for explaining their difference.
If you ever get a chance to do one, I would love to hear more about the way menopause affects your skin and hair. I am only 40 but had a complete hysterectomy and my skin has definitely changed! Maybe you have some tips or insight into this subject. I would very much appreciate it!
Love this type of content! This is really invaluable information coming from a reliable source. You've made my life much easier for when I'm shopping for products, so thank you!
Very helpful Dr Dray! Thanks so much for the information. There is so much false information out there that it’s a bit ridiculous. My skin is so much better following your tips!!!
Hi Dr. Dray. My little sister told me about your channel recently, and I'm so glad she did. I really have enjoyed your videos and all the information that you have provided me with. My mother-in-law only uses water to wash her face I always thought that was odd, her mother did the same thing and her mother had the most beautiful baby soft flawless skin you'd ever want. So I guess after all these years they were right. Can't wait for your next video.
I love the Information that you give us... very helpful!. Buuuut I have to disagree with just water is fine. I used to think also that because a doctor recomended me that. But after doing it my Sunscreen was not coming off and created a very ugly irritation on some parts of my body. Now I do wash it off and everything is just fine :)
i actually use baby dove sensitive top to toe as a facial cleanser atm. it is very nice and extremely affordable, cant ask for more really. fyi, not sure if you know about this but Hada Labo has another range in their line called Tamagohada. ive been a longstanding user of the Tamagohada AHA (glycolic) + BHA cream cleanser (they also have a self foaming pump similar to yours). as is customary for the brand, it is fragrance free. cant claim that it will be gentle because of the acids though, but i really liked it, but cant get it here in the UK!
That was *really* great. Thanks! If I use a facewash that doesn't contain any soap compounds or surfactants harsh or mild, would it still be an 'insult' to the skin to wash 3 times/day? In the evening, I cleanse with a cold cream, then wash with Cetaphil, for which I know you have no use. Then I put on my moisturizer and azelaic acid. Several hours go by and I want to put on my retinoid and go to bed. I prefer that the retinoid not have to go through the moisturizer and az. acid cream, so I wash with a mild cleanser, ie, that's twice in an evening. Then in the morning, I use the mild cleanser again. Too much? The cleanser doesn't include any of the ingredients you listed above for which I thank you *SO* much. Here are the ingredients of the cleanser: Water, glycerin, cetyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, cetearyl alcohol, cetearyl glucoside, PEG-40 stearate, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, ceramide NP, ceramide AP, ceramide EOP, phytosphingosine, cholesterol, sodium lauroyl lactylate, carbomer, xanthan gum, stearyl alcohol, hyaluronic acid, disodium EDTA, disodium phosphate, polysorbate 20, potassium phosphate, lactic acid
It’s very good to know that I don’t have to hop into the shower on cold cold days//just do the pits 💆🏻♀️ what a relief; I have been doing that on nights that I’m too cold to get wet, but now my little dark-days-of-January habit has the dermatological seal of approval 👩🏽🔬
I just had to say, you are a gem! I appreciate all the work you do for us. I know you spend a lot of time & are so diligent. Thank you & bless you. I look forward to listening to some of your videos you have listed.
I love the sessions!!! You make them what they are funny, very, very interesting, and sooo!!! informative. I have not used fragrants or any harsh ingredients since I have watched your channel. my skin has been doing wonderful. Thank you sooo!!! much,, but really I can't Thank You enough.
I use CereVe as a cleanser..and its worked very nicely. However last night i did something i should not have. I used the Zapzyt...Benzoyl peroxide gel. Last time i used this product i was in middle school. It burned me tremendously. Im now 49 so after listening and seeing it being used...i thought i would try it first by just spot treating. I woke up in the night around one w itching sensation to face and ipon inspection im burnt in large areas around where i spot treated..ive been up since one. I placed the Nuetrogena Hydro Boost gel on it...due to cooling effecr and moisturizer...kept doing for an hour..and then rinsed w very cold water..and sinse have kept cold water on w a towl..and burning has lessened. Oh boy...lesson learned. Seems the only thing i can use is the Sal.acid and the differin. Ill be taking a break from anything for the next two days..any other suggestions? Thankyou in advance for any rec.
I understand. Ty. My reasoning behind sharing the whole story w you was to actually ask...if you had any suggestions ..in helping sooth the burned areas..however i did well w the hydro boost gel for cooling and moisturizing at the same time..n then just cold water compresses. Ive healed and will not be using the product again.. or at least will wait awhile until not using differin. I have very sensitive skin to begin w..and tried bp when in middle school and had a much worse reaction...so i count myself lucky.
I once did use African black soap on my face (quite drying), it might be better for oilier skins and problematic skins, rather than dry or extremely dry skins. I even used it on my hair, wasn't bad but I would never use it again (too alkaline).
I am extremely dry, do not wear make-up (anymore), and only water-wash in the morning; then apply my moisturizers. Then in the evening, I just apply my moisturizers. Even water dries out my skin, and I have found that washing (even that) with water twice is too much. And I use a pretty thick moisturizer (Nivea blue tin) already and hyaluronic acids underneath, so... Well, I'm not complaining. It's fine for me. Might be worth a try if you are very dry. I always do lukewarm water. Such great tips, Dr Dray! I do have to use harsher cleansers on my scalp. But that is due to SD, aka seborrheic dermatitis; I need to be squeaky there (it's what works for me and I can extend the use of my medical shampoo by not having to use it as much; it is quite expensive for me, at 12 euro per 100ml in Belgium).
Thanks For all your advice on skin care. Have been binge watching your videos. Love them I am 50 years old from Sri Lanka now living in U.S. While in S.L never wore moisturiser, or Sun protection. As it was very humid ,and since I had oily/combination skin never needed. Or soap on face. But since last year I have an age spot or melisma. I have started using Hadalabo lotion, Genefique serum, and Hydra zen moisturizer from Lancôme .my pores are enlarged with age. My skin is dry now. No acne.. I don't have any wrinkles. As you have commented on products mostly for Acne skin , was a bit hesitant to switch before checking with you what's best for my skin concerns. My age spots and keeping wrinkles away as long as possible. I would like to get Differin gel for anti aging and age spot benefits Cerave cleanser as face wash or Neutrogena orange face wash for acne with Salisilic acid 2%. What's the best choice? Cerave pm for acne skin as a night cream? Cerave am for acne skin as a day cream? Or Hadalabo whitening gel cream which I used to use And I already have Hadalabo UV SPF 50+PA+++ (which has a white effect) since I don't wear makeup it's ugly.On your video you like Hadalabo hydroboost water gel SPF lotion. does it have this white film? As I want to get it. Since I travel a lot overseas caring too many bottles is a problem. Yesterday I bought Neutrogena Hydro Boost hydrating cleansing gel as it says effectively removes makeup and impurities .supposed to use like a face wash. I now Saw that it has Sodium Cocoyl isethionate, Sodium Methylcocoyl Taurate . It says soap free, oil free , paraban free, hypo allergenic ,non comedogenic. At least if it's not too bad I will keep it to use on trips. What do you think? I really want to follow your advice? Please help. What are good drugstore brand skincare products for traveling which multitask. And also addressing the issues of mature skin issues.Would like to see a video on this soon. It will benefit many.
One clue I always use between the two SLSs when I'm explaining to my friends is this: LaurYl is drYing (both have Ys) lol drY drY drY drY! DRY!!!! lol LaurEth is gentlE (both have Es)
Great video! Looking forward to next week’s content. I’ve been using the Vanicream cleanser at night to remove sunscreen & just water & a cloth in the morning. Works great!
Dr Dray I can't waite to try vanicream products. Practically every skincare including cerave affects me. Cerave Am, pm, renew night cream, eye cream etc all have an adverse effect on me. Can't use. My face feels like heat is coming out of it, heart racing. I feel like the ingredients in these products are too much for me. Any suggestuon Dr Dray?
its really funny that you confirm that, when I was a young person, I never washed my face with soap !!!! And my skin was beautiful !!! I would be embarrased to say it to anyone, but i never felt the need to do that. Now, 50 years later, I do wash with a mild cleanser to remove the oils and start with a fresh face in the morning !!! xo Simone
Great video! I'm a long time follower of Paula Begoun and follow recommendations of Beautypedia. Since new products are released constantly, they can't always keep up with reviews. In those cases, I use the ingredient dictionary on Paula's Choice website, but it can be so tedious. Thank you for posting a list of ingredients in the description box- it will make things easier, as I am on a hunt for a new and exciting cleanser (love Cerave, but getting a little bored)!
i used to be a beautypedia fanatic a while ago and i understand that they seem to be genuine with the research they use. but i do personally see some flaws in what they do. they are big proponents against jars for example, but many other numerous sources also note that jars are sufficiently safe because of the preservatives. their argument for the use of antioxidants are big too, hence probably why they are against the use of jars, but some people (like Dr Dray) find that antioxidants have dubious qualities (and they are not regulated). not all antioxidants are good, just like anything, anyone can be allergic to good things like antioxidants (my face gets red when i use vitamin c, thinking that it was fine, i pushed on to no avail). but the problem is they believe in a cocktail of antioxidants, and that means more foreign things on your face really. i believe *some* of the research they use are the ones that are funded by companies, and that is a problem in itself (correct me if im wrong). in the end they are still a company selling products after all. i think antioxidants can do you good if you are willing to shell out for them. but there are affordable antioxidant serums out there that uses tocopherol and vit B, which i believe are not pricey ingredients in themselves
Alif Asyraf Tassim Thank you for taking the time to write a lengthy response! I have noticed some issues (inconsistent ratings and harsh ratings for certain brands), but have found Beautypedia to be a decent guide in general. It has declined quite a bit in recent years, though... There is just so much conflicting information out there (Ben Fuchs, for ex, who is against preservatives and very much for high concentrations of antioxidants in skincare) especially for consumers who are not trained physicians or cosmetic chemists, that it can be overwhelming and confusing. I appreciate people like Dr Dray who take the time to educate and make sense of all this stuff.
i try to be as objective as i can! i agree with you that it has somewhat declined in quality over the years. tbh i wouldnt have known about effective treatments for acne and such about ingredients on cosmetics if it wasnt for Paula, so i saw so much value in it myself. with so much information out there now, we can have access to so many viewpoints and perspectives about cosmetics and what it should or shouldnt contain, and what to use and why, and it does get overwhelming! hence i also do agree that i really appreciate those who (like Dr Dray) do take time to investigate these matters objectively and with expertise! you even have given me access to another source (Ben Fuchs) to peruse and examine, so thank you!
Thank you doc for making these informative videos. I learn a lot from them especially the way you explain things in layman terms. This is one of my favorite “beauty” channels since you know what you’re speaking on.
Very logical lady. Genius. I’d like to know if ingredients really matter so much in a face wash as it only stays in your face for a few seconds and then we wash it off completely? Does it really matter?
I actually live in a dark box. LOL I work nights, and I have my room blacked out for optimal sleep. I don't go out during the day and when I do, I use sunscreen then.
Thank you for another great Vlog, I wish we could have Vanicream and Cerave over here in the UK. I have ordered the Hada Labo though can’t wait to try x
Wow! thank you so much for the interesting information about cleansers and especially for explaining many of the mystery ingredients. The list for reference is so helpful. Thank you!
I love every single video you are doing! I was about to ask you making a video what ingredients we need to look in a moisturizer! There are a lot of Nivea products overseas that I haven't seen here. Your video might help people who have Nivea available o them and they can check the ingredients.
I LOVE the vanicream brand you recommended. So far, it seems to be helping my irritated. I never heard or would of thought to purchase the brand but I am really enjoying it. :)
Awesome awesome video!!!! Thx So helpful! I like to “collect” cleansers lol . I really enjoy trying all of them lol. Burning Blueberry Lemonade soy candle that is FANTASTIC with great throw from Cozy home candles.
i get it too, for the longest time! my scalp has been really good with me now. it used to excrete a lot of oil, and it gets greasy within the day easily. the trick is to use a salicylic acid cleanser on the scalp and leave it on for a few minutes, and wash it off. thats it really. i actually use a facial cleanser for that to be honest, since its much more affordable. either way, if you dont want to use a facial cleanser, Neutrogena has a salicylic acid base T/Gel shampoo
Alif Asyraf Tassim That makes total sense! I’ve only had it for a couple months and I have been getting more oily than usual and more dandruff so that’s probably why. Thanks for the tip!
Incredibly outstanding video as always. I do have questions relating to my 16 year old grandson. He has inherently beautiful skin. Summer of 2017 he experienced a growth spurt from 5'7" to 6'4". This was not unexpected as my son, his dad, is a bit taller, and so was my father. My grandson plays both basketball and varsity baseball and became oily near his shoulder blades. He is being seen by his dermatologist and given Stridex 1 percent pads. They work nicely for him. After the samples ran out I purchased several jars in Walmart for under 4$s each. I also looked online and both the 1 and 2 percent salicylic acid pads 24 count ranged from $10. To $98. -. I was quite shocked. My next surprise was finding Salicylic Acid as an active ingredient in Paul Mitchell shampoo for oily to normal hair. I returned it to my salon and they too had no explanation. Is this something that you are aware of, if so of what use is it? I am back to using Tresemme. I also; order Argan Oil by the quart from Bulk Apothecary for years (4qts@60$s) and mixing it with my shampoo. My hair is a few inches above my waist, very thick and becoming coarse with grey coming in. Argan oil works well for me. I have no plans of coloring my hair thus enabling me to donate to Wigs for Kids of Greater NY. Was wondering about your mother's thoughts regarding the use of Retin A for anti aging. I recently refused a case where the potential client had the vascular reddish phenomenon including enlarged facial pores and an obviously inflamed neck and declotte. This seems to be an inflammatory response that is very common long term use on fair skinned individuals. My grandsons' dermatologist refuses to prescribe topical Retin A unless there is a history of very hard to control acne and never for just anti-aging. At the risk of being critical I suggest viewing Ms. Angie of Hot and Flashy without any makeup, also Monique of Unique Monique. Both women are stunning with makeup on. Ms. Monique did a video about her experience and has discontinued using Retin A entirely. If this really is a permanent inflammatory response it should be given some attention. All my love, Marya.
I used to have the alba botanical Hawaiian face cleanser and a lot of people loved the cleanser and I did at the beginning but then one time I used it and it made my face red and my pores and encamped my face and irritated my face soooooo bad so I switched to the neutrogena fresh foaming cleanser and it was okay but then I just stopped washing my face with a product and I just wash my face with water. I also have oily to combo skin.
Hi Dr. Dray thank you get video. I never wash my face in the am. I feel there is no need to because i have no make up or sunscreen on my skin. Although in my night time routine i do double cleanse to get everything off and ready for my Retin A. Hope to see your laser video soon.
Absolutely love your videos and love the fact too that you and your mom are close. My mom is 88 and we talk almost everyday and have such great laughs. My question is I purchased the Cerave moisturizer and love it but recently I heard that their products are not cruelty free and I don’t like that. I hope I am wrong. How do you feel about brands not being cruelty free?
My old derm told me to use dove on my face, and it got sooo dry! Thank you for this list! Have you looked at toleraine hydrating gentle cleanser or toleraine dermo cleanser?
Hi there Dr. Dray, Thanks for another great video. In the description, do you mean "sodium palmate" rather than "sodium palate"? If you would be able to embellish this list with other ingredients for us to consider as harsh (and thus to avoid) that would really great. I've found stuff like "Pentasodium Pentetate", "Tetrasodium Etidronate", "Chondrus Crispus Powder (Carrageenan)", etc. and am not sure if these too are to be considered as harsh (and thus to be avoided).
Hi Andrea, you've clarified very efficiently the confuse world of cleansers, I keep learning a lot with you, some days I use moisturizer and sunscreen without makeup, can I wash them with tap water only at the end of the day, is it enough?. Thank you.
You are about the only channel I watch that I don’t wish I had 15-20 minutes of my life back! Thank you for the information!

:)
If you ever get a chance to do one, I would love to hear more about the way menopause affects your skin and hair. I am only 40 but had a complete hysterectomy and my skin has definitely changed! Maybe you have some tips or insight into this subject. I would very much appreciate it!
:)
Love this type of content! This is really invaluable information coming from a reliable source. You've made my life much easier for when I'm shopping for products, so thank you!
Thanks so much
Very helpful Dr Dray! Thanks so much for the information. There is so much false information out there that it’s a bit ridiculous. My skin is so much better following your tips!!!
Thanks! Glad to hear things are better Ms Michelle!
Hi Dr.
Thanks! Glad you are here :)
You are single handed changing my view of the beauty industry! Amazing work.
thank you so much
What I love about your videos is the information I would love to corner my Doctor on, but time is not available for that. Thank you.
Thanks!
3X a day is excessive; ingredients seem fine
It’s very good to know that I don’t have to hop into the shower on cold cold days//just do the pits 💆🏻♀️ what a relief; I have been doing that on nights that I’m too cold to get wet, but now my little dark-days-of-January habit has the dermatological seal of approval 👩🏽🔬
stay warm Ms Bonnie! I don't envy your winters
I always love your topics-but you have been hitting some home-Runs! Thank you!!!
Thanks so much Ms Tina!
Skin care and vocabulary lesson! YAY!!!! Word of the day: nomenclature!
:)
You are so sweet and seem like such a nice person, god be with you.
thank you so much!
Thank you for this Dr. You're one of the best
Thanks for watching!
Thank you Dr. Dray. Those ingredients list are exactly what I need😊
I just had to say, you are a gem! I appreciate all the work you do for us. I know you spend a lot of time & are so diligent. Thank you & bless you. I look forward to listening to some of your videos you have listed.
Thank you so much!
I find washing my face once every 2 weeks really helps it to heal red marks as the new skin heals underneath the dry dead skin
:)
Thanks for the in-depth video, Dr Dray! Learnt so much from these 18 minutes alone that i ever did googling on my own!
:)
I'm so thankful to you! Your very honest in the advice you give! My skin is healing great.
I love the sessions!!! You make them what they are funny, very, very interesting, and sooo!!! informative. I have not used fragrants or any harsh ingredients since I have watched your channel. my skin has been doing wonderful. Thank you sooo!!! much,, but really I can't Thank You enough.
Thanks!
Thankyou in advance for any rec.
you are already using two exfoliants (sa and differin) so the bp (which is irritating to begin with) is more likely to be problematic
I even used it on my hair, wasn't bad but I would never use it again (too alkaline).
thanks for sharing!
But that is due to SD, aka seborrheic dermatitis; I need to be squeaky there (it's what works for me and I can extend the use of my medical shampoo by not having to use it as much; it is quite expensive for me, at 12 euro per 100ml in Belgium).
yeah shampooing consistently is key for sd
I find myself rewinding and watching again and again!
thanks :)
I absolutely love this type of video. Thank you so much!
Glad to hear :)
Thanks For all your advice on skin care. Have been binge watching your videos. Love them
I am 50 years old from Sri Lanka now living in U.S.
I would like to get Differin gel for anti aging and age spot benefits
Cerave cleanser as face wash or Neutrogena orange face wash for acne with Salisilic acid 2%. What's the best choice?
Cerave pm for acne skin as a night cream?
Cerave am for acne skin as a day cream?
Or Hadalabo whitening gel cream which I used to use
And I already have Hadalabo UV SPF 50+PA+++ (which has a white effect) since I don't wear makeup it's ugly.On your video you like Hadalabo hydroboost water gel SPF lotion. does it have this white film?
One clue I always use between the two SLSs when I'm explaining to my friends is this:
LaurYl is drYing (both have Ys) lol drY drY drY drY! DRY!!!! lol
LaurEth is gentlE (both have Es)
good one!
?
Is laureth gentle?
@@rosemary.-6576 dr. dray says so in the video, said it's a mild surfuctant
I love the Revision brightening wash for A.M...has some SA in it!
:)
Great video! Looking forward to next week’s content. I’ve been using the Vanicream cleanser at night to remove sunscreen & just water & a cloth in the morning. Works great!
:) Thanks! love vanicream
Jamie Vogel I remove makeup &/or sunscreen with an oil cleanse first. Then use the Vanicream cleanser.
Avoid sodium lauryl sulfate for any facial cleansing product even shampoo, you'll be good.
That’s interesting that you mention micelles because I just learned about those in biochem! I like when my classes relate to my skincare addiction 😂
I loved biochem!!!
its really funny that you confirm that, when I was a young person, I never washed my face with soap !!!! And my skin was beautiful !!! I would be embarrased to say it to anyone, but i never felt the need to do that. Now, 50 years later, I do wash with a mild cleanser to remove the oils and start with a fresh face in the morning !!! xo Simone
yeah water is often all you need
Great video! I'm a long time follower of Paula Begoun and follow recommendations of Beautypedia. Since new products are released constantly, they can't always keep up with reviews. In those cases, I use the ingredient dictionary on Paula's Choice website, but it can be so tedious. Thank you for posting a list of ingredients in the description box- it will make things easier, as I am on a hunt for a new and exciting cleanser (love Cerave, but getting a little bored)!
the beautypedia isn't really reliable information
Dr Dray Now I'm curious as to why you think that, haha. They seem to back up their reviews with research.
i used to be a beautypedia fanatic a while ago and i understand that they seem to be genuine with the research they use. but i do personally see some flaws in what they do. they are big proponents against jars for example, but many other numerous sources also note that jars are sufficiently safe because of the preservatives. their argument for the use of antioxidants are big too, hence probably why they are against the use of jars, but some people (like Dr Dray) find that antioxidants have dubious qualities (and they are not regulated). not all antioxidants are good, just like anything, anyone can be allergic to good things like antioxidants (my face gets red when i use vitamin c, thinking that it was fine, i pushed on to no avail). but the problem is they believe in a cocktail of antioxidants, and that means more foreign things on your face really. i believe *some* of the research they use are the ones that are funded by companies, and that is a problem in itself (correct me if im wrong). in the end they are still a company selling products after all. i think antioxidants can do you good if you are willing to shell out for them. but there are affordable antioxidant serums out there that uses tocopherol and vit B, which i believe are not pricey ingredients in themselves
Would love a series on ingredients!!! Please. Next up. Moisturizer ingredients. Why do so many have bergamot oil in them if it’s bad for face skin?
i have done moisturizers
Thank you doc for making these informative videos. I learn a lot from them especially the way you explain things in layman terms. This is one of my favorite “beauty” channels since you know what you’re speaking on.
Thanks!
Oh oh! How about hair shampoo ingredients!!!! Conditioners, and hair serums which are so popular too.
Yes please more of theses type videos, but I love all you do. Very informative!!!
Thank you so much!
Echoing another comment, I love the nerdy science stuff! I use gentle cleansers but could probably skip it in the morning. Thanks for the info!
nerds unite!
:)
Thank you for another great Vlog, I wish we could have Vanicream and Cerave over here in the UK. I have ordered the Hada Labo though can’t wait to try x
:) Thanks!
Another great educational video. You are the best!
Thanks!
Omg I just was going to ask you for some kind of PDF list of a translation of ingredients for cleansers, soaps, and lotions!
hope it helps
Thank you Dr Dray I didn't think about soaps in that way very informative !
Very helpful info! I always read the ingredients on a product but it can be confusing.
Thanks! It is confusing for sure
fantastic, brilliant, useful and very informative. You are always appreciated, your Vlogs are just as good!
Thanks!
I just wanna say that because of you I have a chronic addiction to the cereve moisturizing cream. i'm on my 3rd tub lol
:) lol! glad to hear you like it
I recommend checking out Krave Beauty's cleanser. It's very hydrating and contains 40% green tea :)
thanks for sharing
Wow! thank you so much for the interesting information about cleansers and especially for explaining many of the mystery ingredients. The list for reference is so helpful. Thank you!
Thanks! Glad to hear :)
Thank you always for sharing all this knowledge.
I love every single video you are doing! I was about to ask you making a video what ingredients we need to look in a moisturizer! There are a lot of Nivea products overseas that I haven't seen here. Your video might help people who have Nivea available o them and they can check the ingredients.
I have done the moisturizer one. Nivea is a problem because the fragrance
Thank you for responding. I will try to find the video.
Andrea, do you suggest anything for itching of eczema? I use cerave products and shea butter, but it seems that my skin is still rough.
I LOVE the vanicream brand you recommended. So far, it seems to be helping my irritated. I never heard or would of thought to purchase the brand but I am really enjoying it. :)
It is an unsung hero of skincare
What do you think of Sodium Chloride?
Oh my gosh! I thought it was weird that Dove seemed to dry & tighten my skin. Now I know...
drying
Awesome awesome video!!!! Thx So helpful! I like to “collect” cleansers lol . I really enjoy trying all of them lol. Burning Blueberry Lemonade soy candle that is FANTASTIC with great throw from Cozy home candles.
i bet that smells delicous
Thank you for writing those out.
:)
Hey Dr. Dray! Could you do a video on scalp acne and how to treat it?
i get it too, for the longest time! my scalp has been really good with me now. it used to excrete a lot of oil, and it gets greasy within the day easily. the trick is to use a salicylic acid cleanser on the scalp and leave it on for a few minutes, and wash it off. thats it really. i actually use a facial cleanser for that to be honest, since its much more affordable. either way, if you dont want to use a facial cleanser, Neutrogena has a salicylic acid base T/Gel shampoo
All my love, Marya.
yes sa helps with oiliness...hence why it is an shampoo for oily scalp...also can help dandruff
I got the cerave salicylic acid cleanser based on your recommendation:) i really like it! A newer viewer to your channel:)
:)
Super helpful video again, thank you so much. I hope dr dray could make video about shampoo ingredients.
Thank you so much!
Can you do a review on Sally beauty version of the Neutrogena hydroboost gel/cream, please?
Yes, plz Dr. Dray!!
I would really love to hear your thoughts on cleansing balms. Thank you for your priceless information 😊
i reviewed them
Oh dear, must have missed it!! Looking forward to your next video :))
Another great topic. It can be very confusing. Thanks.
Thanks Ms Jane! Hope you are having a great night
This was so helpful! Thank you Dr. Dray.
Thanks!
Hi Dr. Dray thank you get video. I never wash my face in the am. I feel there is no need to because i have no make up or sunscreen on my skin. Although in my night time routine i do double cleanse to get everything off and ready for my Retin A. Hope to see your laser video soon.
Thanks! I am a fan of the double cleanse
I enjoyed the video. Thank you for your videos.
Hope you are good. You look too slim. I wish you well.
Love your channel and your talks. So happy I found your channel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
thanks!
How do you feel about brands not being cruelty free?
not sure anymore to be honest, as they were bought out by loreal
Great information! Thanks so much! Sue
thanks!
Dr. Dray I have a question.. can I use a micellar cleansing water, by garnier, before applying differin 0,1%? Love from Portugal! ❤
you can...however i don't recommend micellar waters, period
Ok, thank you very much! ❤
Thank you Dr Dray. I love the Vanicream cleaner. Thank you for the educational videos.
it is a good one!
Great video Dr Dray! I look forward to your follow up. Have a wonderful week ❤️
Thanks! you too
My old derm told me to use dove on my face, and it got sooo dry! Thank you for this list! Have you looked at toleraine hydrating gentle cleanser or toleraine dermo cleanser?
love both of those
thank you!
Thanks helpful info always. U have yourself a nice Monday
Thanks!
Hi there Dr. Dray,
Thanks for another great video.
Thank you.
yes tap water is enough
LOVE you and your channel!!!💕
Thanks!
Hello dr.dray,
I love the way you explain and breakdown everything for us. What do
You think of cosrx low ph good morning cleanser?
have not tried
