I think it's more difficult to play Gilmour and get it to sound right...The way he bends notes perfectly is tough to duplicate 100%. When you shred it's easy to cover up and ignore mistakes...Just my $.02..

What’s lovely for me and every other PF fan with watching these reaction vids is watching the emotion roll over their face to a solo or a Gilmour vocal and them for the very first time falling in love with the band we’ve all been in love with for years. It’s clear to us all Stacey is a new Floyd fan and that gives me and others so much happiness because you’re now “one of us”. x
I was lucky enough to hear Pink Floyd perform this entire album in concert at Cleveland stadium, with 80,000 friends. It was so much more than a concert…it was a major cultural event. That show will live in my memory forever.
Was also at Cleveland stadium concert and 100% agree that it was the the best audiovisual and out of body experience performance that I have witnessed in my 65 yrs. Of listening to music.
I was also there; June 25th 1977.Cleveland Municipal stadium. There were actually 97,000 people there. That was the reported ticket sales for that concert. Remember their jet flying sooo low over the stadium to open the show? They got fined BIG TIME for that!! They were banned from playing in Cleveland for a long while for that one. The GIANT PIG, The herd of sheep floating down into the crowd shot from cannons in the upper corner of the stadium... THE WHOLE SHOW WAS EPIC!!! Met people there from Buffalo, Detroit, Canada,,and all over Ohio.
The show in Philadelphia on this tour is where Roger Waters had his little bout with hepatitis. Thats where the lyrics for COMFORTABLY NUMB came from!!
I feel there's a general gradient to Floyd albums. I loved The Wall as a disobedient youth. In my 20s I was all about Dark Side, Wish You Were Here in my 30s. Now, in my 40s I finally have the patience for Animals.
I'm 68 and grew up with pink Floyd . I'm so glad you experienced dogs. The barking was done on Richard wrights key board. As usual Stacey you did a stellar reaction. Keep them coming pretty lady.
My favorite was always : " .. and when they turn their backs on you, you will get the chance to put the knife in .. " beside sooo many other great lines and of course all these amazing guitar solos. Its just such a masterpiece.
When this album first came out, my gf and I were at a friend's place listening to music. He didn't have this but asked if we had heard the Pink Floyd Animals album and highly recommended it. Next morning before I woke up, my gf had gone out and bought the record. She came home and started playing it. I woke up like I was still in some kind of dream, the sound was so amazing and hypnotic. Eventually, realizing I was not dreaming, I came out to find out what it was and she showed me the Pink Floyd Animals album cover. It was an amazing experience
Hi Stacey! I'm writing from Milan: I must say thank You so much for letting me "live" Pink Floyd's music again. Experiencing it through Your ears and eyes and heart is ssssso amazing: I haven't missed to see one, two, three, four, many of your videos any given evening since the last week! "When I Come Home Cold and Tired, It's Good To Warm My Bones Beside The Fire": that's how Your videos, Your fresh point of view and Your genuine reactions make me feel. Thank You, thank You, thank You! 🌹🎸🎹
As you said, this is music that makes you listen. All music should be made for listening. This is a lesson lost on the vast majority of modern 'music'. Patience is a virtue in more ways than one.
the lead vocal up to the long instrumental with the dog sounds (done by richard wright's synths) was David Gilmour & after the long break was Roger Waters. This is David Gilmour's best guitar work of any album in my opinion. My 2nd favorite PF album after dark side of the moon, 3rd is Wish You Were Here.
The album is bookended with pigs on the wing, but the three primary pieces are each epic in scale and grandeur, each completely different than the other yet flow together seamlessly. Absolutely brilliant
This bands music is solid like a tree trunk, producing new branches with uniquely beautiful blossoms. I really appreciate how you take your time to give respectful comments and you'd make a great ambassador of their music. Props to another outstanding review by Stacey! You are by far the best reactor of Pink Floyd.
I have loved this album since the first time I heard it (in the 70s). In the "deserted island" scenario, if I could only have ONE full album for the whole time I was there, it would be Animals. About a 40-way tie for second place. A cynic's profound wisdom... "You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to... so that when they turn their backs on you, you'll get the chance to put the knife in." Wow. One of my favorite lines EVER! Gilmour's guitar work is f-ing spectacular here. Maybe his best ever. He makes it wail. Soul searching. Relaxation. Reflection. Introspection. Suspicion. Doubt. Fear. Anger. Despair. Resignation. He can make us feel ALL of it! Just incredible. And YOU picking up on describing them as, "...so experimental, but so intentional at the same time..." THAT, young lady, demonstrates wisdom beyond your years! Stacey, your Floyd reactions have been wonderful! I really enjoy "proof" that their music appeals across the ages and TO all ages! Great reaction, Stacey! Thank you!
That middle atmospheric part always brings a vivid visual feeling. The self absorbed ruthless guy, with a stone attached, slowing sinking, underwater, I almost hear like a “sonar” sound. For me it represents him sinking, getting lower and lower and more hopeless.
Never get tired of seeing reactors face on the drop. even the ones that go into it expecting not to like this song (unlike yourself of course 😊)glad you’re enjoying..
There are many amazing guitarist's in this world but none can get too you like Dave Gilmour does!!! Sometimes it reaches to your core so much it almost seems he is playing only too you and only for you!!! The man is a genius!!!
Ohohoh Stacey! I really start loving you more with each day and reaction (you are exactly as emotional as me when it comes to music - and I am a hobby musician of many genres), you do a phantastic job!!!! I was just watching something else on UA-cam and what do I see?! You did Dogs! Oh myyyyy Animals has been my all time fav album since I first heard it in school in 1985. Now I have to tell you a little story: One year later I was in London for a school exchange from our Swiss high school and found out, that this "factory" on the cover was there, but had no idea where exactly. And don't forget, that was before the internet! On my last day in the city I spotted the smokestacks in the background, took a look at the map and saw it: Battersea Power Station. I grabbed my friend who wanted to become a photographer and forced him to come with me to the trip south of the Thames. After a one hour walk through the seediest neighbourhood I ever saw til then (I was a 17 year old Swiss schoolboy :D) we arrived there. It was abandoned, so we climed the fence and took some pics. Since then I regularly came back to London and no trip, if shopping, theater, business related or visting friends is complete for me without visiting "the factory". Nowadays it's not recognizable anymore as it is one of the most posh and modern neighbourhoods of the city. As Dogs is most of Side 1 of the album, you could have done the whole concept with Pigs and Sheep on Side 2 :D
Pink Floyd with the accostic guitar is gorgeous, Pink Floyd with the electric guitar is gorgeous, Pink Floyd with the keyboards is gorgeous, Pink Floyd with the Davids Voice is gorgeous, Pink Floyd with the drums is gorgeous, Pink Floyd with the Sax is gorgeous, Pink Floyd IS GORGEOUS!!!! Greatest Band of all time! PIGS is my favorite on this album, just perfect!
Floyd is emotional. Not sure how you’ve been able to not just go thru every album by now, and just skip the reviews. You are a full fledged Floydian now. Dogs is top 5 Floyd song.
Funny part about that scene was it was during the part of the song AFTER the barking dog effect had already stopped sounding like a dog and was more obviously morphed into choppy organ chords, but still sounded like distant barking.
Pink Floyd becomes a part of your being. I love to see when any age group or other demographic hear pretty much any Floyd song for the first time. You never get tired of hearing Floyd. I'm halfway to 67 and was a young teen when they released their greatest works, and it never gets old. You will cherish your discovery of Pink Floyd. You can hear in their earlier releases how they evolved to finally bless the world with Dark Side of the Moon through the previous release of Meddle which is where they found their unique sound and place in music.. I've been to four Floyd shows, and nothing compares to the seamless precision with each song becoming its own unique sight and sound extravaganza that encapsulates you. Tickets were always reasonably priced, given the incredible technology necessary. They loved their fans. And the tragic story of founding member Syd Barret that started their experimental music journey who was honored in a number of their compositions. I m fortunate to have been a 70's teen to experience probably the largest number of experimental music artists, marking a very historic period that spawned the collective musical genius of bands like Yes, Floyd, King Crimson, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Frank Zappa, Hendrix, and the relationship between The Grateful Dead and their Deadhead fans, making a lifestyle out of following them on their tours. Welcome to the 70's.
Love Stacy's reviews and reactions and excitement at the music by Pink Floyd the best band on the planet .As Stacy says you never know what to expect from them every track is creative and nothing like any other band has done .the younger generation are now discovering pink floyd and like their music and even learning to play their solos ..
Always an absolute pleasure sharing your reactions to Pink Floyd. You have shown by your reactions that you totally get Pink Floyd. So glad you are enjoying them as we have for so many decades. ❤ from Canada
Atom Heart Mother was my introduction to Pink Floyd. I'm 63 now, and still many times musically, only Pink Floyd will suffice. The fact that PF can deep dive into subjects like death, human struggle, insanity and addiction, war and corruption yet wrap it in such beautiful music is magnificent and unique. They soothe my soul and I hope yours also.

in may 1977 i was a casual pink floyd fan, mostly stuff from "the dark side of the moon" and a few other songs i had heard on the radio. then a few days before my 16th birthday my friend said,"pink floyd is playing at anaheim (california) stadium tonight. we should go." that night turned me from a casual fan into an obsessed one. they played animals all the way through, plus stuff from "wish you were here" and "dark side". we sat on the outfield grass passing around joints, and sharing food with other fans. it was a very communal experience. the next day i went out and bought "animals",and throughout that summer i got every album in their back catalog, immersing myself in their music. to say that night at the concert 47 years ago this month changed me is an understatement. my eyes were fully opened for the first time in my life. i went back to school in september with a completely different outlook on the world, people and especially music. thank you, scott where ever you are today.
Watching the *Manner* in which you enjoyed this song tells me you're ready for the group YES. I believe they would become an instant favorite for you if you haven't already turned on to them
I’ve always loved that transition where the word “stone” slowly becomes a siren. It happens so smoothly you can’t even tell when one ends and the other begins, it’s masterfully done.
Some context of the album Animals and the songs meanings: Loosely based on George Orwell's political fable Animal Farm, the album's lyrics describe various classes in society as different kinds of animals: the predatory dogs, the despotic ruthless pigs, and the "mindless and unquestioning” herd of sheep. Whereas the novella focuses on Stalinism, the album is a critique of capitalism and differs again in that the sheep eventually rise up to overpower the dogs. The album was developed from a collection of unrelated songs into a concept which, in the words of author Glenn Povey, "described the apparent social and moral decay of society, likening the human condition to that of mere animals" These dogs are the cutthroat businessmen who feel they “have to be trusted by the people that [they] lie to / So that when they turn their backs on [the dogs] / [they]'ll get the chance to put the knife in”.
I like the albumcover. It's Battersea Power Station in London. You can see a pig floating between the chimneys. They had a giant inflatable pig on a rope for a photo, but the rope snapped and the pig went up in the sky, later reported by a pilot...
The recurring mention of the “stone” in Pink Floyd’s lyrics carries metaphorical weight. “Learning to Fly”: In this song, the line “unladen, empty, and turned to stone” suggests isolation and the struggle for self-discovery. The “stone” represents the heaviness of the status quo, while the desire to fly symbolizes personal growth and overcoming obstacles. “Dogs”: In the lyrics, “the bad blood slows and turns to stone,” the “stone” signifies burdens or unresolved issues. It’s something that drags you down, akin to a heavy weight. Overall, the “stone” serves as a powerful metaphor for emotional weight, obstacles, and the struggle to break free. Pink Floyd often weaves these evocative symbols into their music, inviting listeners to reflect on deeper meanings.
Hi Stacey saw Pink Floyd live at the Stafford showground in 1977 they used the showground so they could have the inflatable animals floating above the stage. It seemed quite normal at that time for Pink Floyd to have inflatable pigs, floating over the concert arena.
I had a dog who would bark and howl when I played this track. I first got into PF 35 years go and have worn out many of my original vinyl albums, I have decided to complete getting the remastered versions. I chose to keep the 1977 mix rather than the 2018 one as that is the version I love.
I had a chihuahua pug mix and he would run around barking with his hair all puffed up ready to kick some butt! Unfortunately it was before videos were so popular.
Just want to point out that David Gilmour (the guitarist) sung the first 13 minutes or so of the song, Roger Waters (the bassist) sung the last 5 minutes or so. I think it was Gilmour that sung the parts you liked the most, but Roger Waters also has a very unique singing voice that suits very well what he sings. Btw, he wrote basically all the lyrics that Pink Floyd recorded from Dark Side of the Moon to the Final Cut. I grew up with this music, to me Floyd was always the Shakespeare of rock music, nobody else comes close and their songs are so emotive and intelligent. Love watching you young reactors discover the music that I've loved but taken for granted for so long.
Dogs represents law enforcement Pigs represents our political leaders Sheep represents everyday civilians. Pink floyd is one of a kind. My personal favorite of there catalog
This is David Gilmore's least favorite album of the ones they made. He said that in an interview I saw. Sorry to break it but that's how it is. (if it matters) He doesn't like it but I do.

Where do I start with this masterpiece. It has been deeply ingrained life for 20 years. When I was in high school I would go to sleep to this song playing on my surround sound I built in my bedroom every night for years. It was part of my nighttime ritual. It is up there as one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs ever. More recently however I played this song while I was putting to sleep my beloved 16yo pit Bull Bean Sprout. I haven’t been able to listen to the song since that day 6 months ago. Thank you Stacey for helping reintroduce it back into my life with such appreciation and joy. This song NEVER gets old and is the definition of infectious. I can’t wait to see your reaction to the rest of this incredible album. BTW please research Roger Waters, he is the brain child of nearly all Pink Floyd and half the vocal genius on this song. He also wrote the whole album.
I saw an interview with David Gilmour where he said that Animals album is his favourite guitar tone out of all the Pink Floyd albums. I enjoyed your reaction and hope you do more Floyd soon.

Your comments on the vocals are spot on, they're excellent. Actually, the lead vocals were split between David Gilmour and Roger Waters on this song. Roger sings lead on the middle section of the song, while David sings lead on the rest of it.

There is a recording of the whole concert on UA-cam. The in the flesh tour Cleveland 1977.
The show in Philadelphia on this tour is where Roger Waters had his little bout with hepatitis. Thats where the lyrics for COMFORTABLY NUMB came from!!
I saw them in early 78 in Rotterdam play this album. The giant pig got stuck halfway over the crowd.
My favorite Pink Floyd Album !
I love playing this song when my dogs are in the room, they always react to the barking/howling sounds while the acoustic is playing.....
If my cat is at home, she stares me down with the most annoyed expression.😾 Like, why tf.are you putting on this when I'm trying to sleep? 🐈
Same!!! Hahaha
" and it's too late to lose the weight you used to need to throw around"
What a lyric!
One of Waters' best
Indeed
My favorite was always :
" .. and when they turn their backs on you, you will get the chance to put the knife in .. "
beside sooo many other great lines and of course all these amazing guitar solos. Its just such a masterpiece.
This is where the groove gets so funky. I wish they played the groove in this lyric just a few more bars
A really strong gut punch indeed.
Pink Floyd is therapy for mature adults.
No other band remotely like them and thank F for that.
Yet ANOTHER iconic British mega band.
David Gilmour has a new single. Piper's Call. Still recording new album at the age of 78 years old.
I can totally relate to your experience
My heart rate genuinely increased when I realized that you finally reacted to Dogs! Definitely my favorite Pink Floyd song!
Same, brother. Same.
"They force you to be patient", an amazing description of the magic that's only Pink Floyd. Great job Stacey!
commentary on society class , David sang the first part, Roger sang the2nd half
David is truly a wonderful man. Spends alot of his time helping the needy and used to teach disabled kids guitar
As you said, this is music that makes you listen. All music should be made for listening. This is a lesson lost on the vast majority of modern 'music'. Patience is a virtue in more ways than one.
Go Stacey...astute reaction. . I Love this album...it's Nick Mason's best work and Rick Wright is in top form.
the lead vocal up to the long instrumental with the dog sounds (done by richard wright's synths) was David Gilmour & after the long break was Roger Waters. This is David Gilmour's best guitar work of any album in my opinion. My 2nd favorite PF album after dark side of the moon, 3rd is Wish You Were Here.
"the song is a journey" That is a GREAT way to put it
To be true to the album, "Pigs(Three different Ones)" should be your next Animals reaction. I would love to hear it.
Yep pigs is by far my favorite from this album
she should also read the lyrics while listening to it
YES!
You are by far the best reactor of Pink Floyd.
thank you so much for your kind words!!
When you're old like me, this song has different meaning. Life is so short. Then you have to join the rest
I hear ya, friends of mine, when I had this 8-track are now dropping left and right, so sad. . .
Now I have to tell you a little story:
One year later I was in London for a school exchange from our Swiss high school and found out, that this "factory" on the cover was there, but had no idea where exactly.
When the song switches up and that guitar solo drops.....my god
BEST SONG ON THIS ICONIC ALBUM. So proud of you analyzing lyrics now. Your growing.
The album is PF’s take on Orwell’s “Animal Farm”. Great job, Stacey!
The sweetest PinkFloyd reactor just made my day again. Thank you and cheers from a finn in Sweden.❤
And "Mother" also from The Wall, made me cry so much... how much I cried with that song...
This is my favorite Pink Floyd album, I saw Les Claypool and his band perform it in its entirety last year and it was brilliant.
My favorite Pink Floyd song. David's guitar playing in this is amazing.
Great reaction, Stacey. You said something about Pink Floyd that really resonated with me.. 'distinct and unique'. Love that!
Floyd is emotional. Not sure how you’ve been able to not just go thru every album by now, and just skip the reviews. You are a full fledged Floydian now. Dogs is top 5 Floyd song.
its been really hard! i cant wait to film my full album reactions!
I love how you use the name floydian because that’s what I use to describe a floyd fan supporter
For me it’s their best song. Not a massive fan of pink floyd but Dogs is something else.
Impossible to build a top 5. Seriously.
*Mr. Carlson (Station Manager):* "Do I hear dogs barking on that thing?"
*Dr. Johnny Fever (DJ):* "I do...."
_-WKRP In Cincinnati_
Funny part about that scene was it was during the part of the song AFTER the barking dog effect had already stopped sounding like a dog and was more obviously morphed into choppy organ chords, but still sounded like distant barking.
Animals came out when I was in high school and is still one of my favorite albums of all time
Animals was released the day after I was born.
Welcome to the 70's.
who was given a pat on the back who was breaking away from the pack lyrics are amazing
Love Stacy's reviews and reactions and excitement at the music by Pink Floyd the best band on the planet .As Stacy says you never know what to expect from them every track is creative and nothing like any other band has done .the younger generation are now discovering pink floyd and like their music and even learning to play their solos ..
When PF were shooting the album cover, the pig took flight, flew out of London, and eventually landed in a field in Kent.
Actually shut down London Heathrow Airport for a bit
HA! BRILLIANT!!!😂
And a very puzzled farmer found it!
"Animals'", Pink Floyd's best album in my honest opinion.
Us and Them through Eclipse Live at Pulse was brilliant.
Always an absolute pleasure sharing your reactions to Pink Floyd. You have shown by your reactions that you totally get Pink Floyd. So glad you are enjoying them as we have for so many decades. ❤ from Canada
Thank you so much for your support and generosity!! Your kind words mean so much!
My favorite Pink Floyd album!
Lyrics are amazing! "If I don't stand my own ground..how can I find my way out of this maze?!"
15/7/89 I was in venice for the best concert fovever, but listen dark side and echoes, legendary music
This Album is really one track , it segues all the way through , I love this particular Album it is my favourite Floyd Album , by Day Light , , just another sad old man , all alone and dying of Cancer , Dogs in the back ground , the human condition, DRAGGED DOWN BY THE STONE , , What an Album it's trick . RARARA
Welcome to The Machine - Pink Floyd is a Dark Band, there music reflects hard times and the difficulties of life.
in may 1977 i was a casual pink floyd fan, mostly stuff from "the dark side of the moon" and a few other songs i had heard on the radio. then a few days before my 16th birthday my friend said,"pink floyd is playing at anaheim (california) stadium tonight. we should go." that night turned me from a casual fan into an obsessed one. they played animals all the way through, plus stuff from "wish you were here" and "dark side". we sat on the outfield grass passing around joints, and sharing food with other fans. it was a very communal experience. the next day i went out and bought "animals",and throughout that summer i got every album in their back catalog, immersing myself in their music. to say that night at the concert 47 years ago this month changed me is an understatement. my eyes were fully opened for the first time in my life. i went back to school in september with a completely different outlook on the world, people and especially music. thank you, scott where ever you are today.
Watching the *Manner* in which you enjoyed this song tells me you're ready for the group YES. I believe they would become an instant favorite for you if you haven't already turned on to them
Owner of a lonely heart wow
@@markbright684 That is great song, but I feel their true masterpiece is Roundabout.
Peter Gabriel genesis?
I would go with. "And You And I", "South Side Of The Sky"
Siberian Khatru
I’ve always loved that transition where the word “stone” slowly becomes a siren. It happens so smoothly you can’t even tell when one ends and the other begins, it’s masterfully done.
Some context of the album Animals and the songs meanings:
Loosely based on George Orwell's political fable Animal Farm, the album's lyrics describe various classes in society as different kinds of animals: the predatory dogs, the despotic ruthless pigs, and the "mindless and unquestioning” herd of sheep. Whereas the novella focuses on Stalinism, the album is a critique of capitalism and differs again in that the sheep eventually rise up to overpower the dogs. The album was developed from a collection of unrelated songs into a concept which, in the words of author Glenn Povey, "described the apparent social and moral decay of society, likening the human condition to that of mere animals"
These dogs are the cutthroat businessmen who feel they “have to be trusted by the people that [they] lie to / So that when they turn their backs on [the dogs] / [they]'ll get the chance to put the knife in”.
So loosely based that they pretty much have opposite messages regarding who the bad guys are....
Thank you.Somebody knows what the albums about. Finally take care daryl in chicago
Hi Stacey! It's always a pleasure to welcome a new Floyd fan to the family!
GEN X!!!!,the luckiest generation ever and will never be equaled!!!.🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
Us OLD BOOMERS!!!
Beautiful the barking and the cry of young dogs created by Wright with synth from 13:50. Great.
Dogs represents law enforcement
Pigs represents our political leaders
Sheep represents everyday civilians.
Pink floyd is one of a kind. My personal favorite of there catalog
Dogs are law enforcement in Orwell's Animal Farm, but in this song they represent ruthless businessmen.
DOGS ARENT LAW THE ARE THE RUTHLESS PEOPLE ON THIS PLANET
This is David Gilmore's least favorite album of the ones they made. He said that in an interview I saw. Sorry to break it but that's how it is. (if it matters) He doesn't like it but I do.
@@leer8321 well David is wrong wow I said that!
@@leer8321 IKR IM SAD BUT DAVID CAN SURE PLAY THIS STUFF LOL
Hey Stacey, really enjoy your commentary. It's so nice & appreciative watching you innocently absorb all this, especially the fact how young you are. I love music & there is so much out there. Pink Floyd is in a league of their own, always have been & nothing compares to it. Listened to Animals album a 1000 times just as you are back in the day.😎👍🌄
some of the best guitar work period
I saw them in Madison Square Garden during the Animals tour. Just an outstanding concert!
Brilliant band , lucky to see them live .... British History..........................
I saw an interview with David Gilmour where he said that Animals album is his favourite guitar tone out of all the Pink Floyd albums. I enjoyed your reaction and hope you do more Floyd soon.
One of the best Floyd albums. Animals got lost due to great albums they created such as Dark Side of the moon, Wish you were here, and The Wall
I saw Pink Floyd Animals Tour live in Tampa Stadium, Tampa Fla. back in the day! They had speakers on all four sides and a big pig floating over the stage, the ticket said "An Even of Sight and Sound with Pink Floyd" 😎
I saw this concert in Montreal in the late 70"s
Same in Denver! Outdoors! AMAZING!
My brother was at that concert. I wasn't invited. He's 10 yrs older than me and took a girl.
Probably the most underrated PF album . I’m 73 and had the privilege of seeing them perform twice 😊. Pink Floyd is a way of life for me, how lucky are we to be alive at the same time .
Dog - Opportunistic and ruthless businessmen, screwing everybody over and living the high life, but ultimately dying alone with no friends or family.
The greatest perfect request, thanks folks. And thanks a bunch Stacey for your reaction to this timeless masterpiece.
Hey Stacey !!! Yes Yes Yes Dogs So cool !!! Pink Floyd the masters !!!! Spiritual experience !!! Kiss kiss kiss 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Hello Cat 😻😻😻Hello You You 😊😊😁!!!!!
I really love to watch how you react for the first time to the music of my childhood. To see your reactions is like remembering THAT irrepetible sensation I had the first time I heard this. I was like 13 or 14 y.o. Now I'm 54. Greetings from Spain (sorry for my bad English), keep enjoying good music!
David Gilmour sang most of it except the last part which was Roger Waters.
Stacey, David sang the first and the second parts and Roger begins in the middle, after the long keyboard solo and the final part! And I love your genuine Pink Floyd reactions!!! 😉🙂
Your comments on the vocals are spot on, they're excellent. Actually, the lead vocals were split between David Gilmour and Roger Waters on this song. Roger sings lead on the middle section of the song, while David sings lead on the rest of it.
Roger sings the final movement not the middle.
For someone who claims to not know much about music, you certainly seem to "get" Pink Floyd pretty quickly. Your insight is remarkable, and I love how you immerse yourself, sharing your genuine feelings without hesitation. Please, keep on doing what you're doing - you're becoming one of my favorite "reactors"!
You're right I saw Stacey learn a lot about Pink Floyd in about 8 months! Now she knows more about PF than anybody.
