The platform attracts a huge amount of female creators and female viewers and most of the content or comments you’ll find here promote inclusivity, unlike most gaming communities or web based forums. If we were all sitting in a room together and this person walked in and made an offhand comment ‘about getting everyone pregnant’ I doubt they would get any laughs unless the audience was exclusively male. But the person who made that comment would never do that IRL because I would guess they never leave the house or have any friends 🙋♀️

I was totally blown away when at the end of stressful day you read my comment and brought my head back to focus. Thank you. When I wrote that comment I was refitting my Seafarer 36, in 2019 she caught fire while in the marina at Eglin AFB Destin FL and so much was lost but not the dream! I have been retired now since march of 21 and on track to go sailboat shopping next season. Thanks for putting out great videos, and inspiring many to notice the beauty of our world. WOW, that new paint really transformed Maggie, she's looking like a new dingy and overall just a better fit/look for Delos because let's be honest she was starting to look pretty ragid. Another great episode and I never stop being amazing by the beauty you're always showcasing on this channel that is simply your everyday lives. Reading Posts is a great concept. I have been following you guys since Ep 4 I think? The brothers were just getting ready to make the Pacific Crossing to the Marquesas. I tried to make it to Florida to welcome you back but my life isn't that simple yet. It will be soon enough though. By following your adventures you've help me make up my mind as to which passages I want to actually make on my adventure. Instead of heading towards Australia from Bora bora, I'm going full blown Coconut run and heading up to the Marshall Islands, Guam, Philippines, then north to Okinawa, Tokyo, and on to Anchorage AK. Then down the west coast all the way to Cabo San Lucas. My Journey Starts in Madrid as that is were the boat is currently. Buying a 68' Gunboat Cat as low true wind speeds can really put a dampener on long passages. A Cat can cut those long haul times in half. Hey Delos, I've been following you guys since before your Indian Ocean crossing (fantastic season!). You inspired me to finally get my skippers licence and to experience the impossible dream I had as a fifteen year old of sailing the Greek islands. Five charters under my belt now and we go again next week😊. All I can think of is sun, sea, sand, sundowners and sunsets! Thank you so much for that - I owe you one, big time, especially as my eldest son caught the bug from me and he now has his skippers licence too. He's only 23 years old so you have effectively given him a lifetime of opportunity. Never written such a long comment but love the idea of sharing comments in your videos to magnify the 'butterfly effect' you probably never even knew you'd had. Stay on the good side of Neptune! I would like to add to your spice rack for fish (especially Mahi). Around Hatteras, you can use any cheap Italian dressing as a marinade or for basting your catch. Almost zero prep work, keeps the meat moist over fires, and it tastes good on virtually any fish you plan to eat!

You guys are awesome. After hearing my brother talk of you guys a few times I decided to check you out. While I have not gone back and watched all the videos (YET) I keep up with current videos while going back and watching a few of the old ones as well. (I am somewhere between your second trip to Madagascar and the second time around the horn). It is easy to see from your adventures how I and my family can spend an easy 10 years traversing the globe. Trying to make sure my wife is ready because she thinks it is a 1 year adventure. I am watching the current videos to see just how long it takes to travel from Panama to so cal. I live in LV Nevada and go to Long Beach each month to sail with my brother. We would love to meet you and spend a weekend at Catalina Island as you pass thru or if you need, my brother may be able to get you a temp slip in Long beach at Shoreline Village. I watch because I see a couple of catamarans, (bad word I know) in the Sea of Cortez and think I want to buy one and bring it back to California so I can get out of Vegas and away from work until I can jump off this rock and sail around the world. I miss Brady and have loved seeing your evolution from take a chance to full blown family life. I aspire to sail the world with my wife and am pushing to set up my business and personal life to be able to take my children before they get too old. Gorgeous place, so cool to see that Nugget is now toilet trained and out of nappies, having had 8 kids I know what a major stepping stone in life this is. My only advice is treasure every moment, they grow so fast, mine range between thirteen and forty five now, the older ones are cool and think I'm okay, but the teens and early twenties still think I'm a knob. I suppose it's their job. They're lovely, but I miss the innocence of their early years when dragging a palm frond was a major event! Love every bit of the Delos Adventure.
Seeing Panama through your videos has been a blast. Especially enjoyed watching this episode as we are anchored in the beautiful North Channel of Lake Huron on our own floating home. Hope you keep sailing and sharing, what began as a welcome distraction during covid lockdown has become our favourite program. Sharing comments is a great addition.

Man I love yall's channel. It has really become sort of a comfort zone for me. It reminds me so much of the first half of my life. We were a very outdoorsy, almost nomadic sort of family. We were constantly camping, hunting, fishing, boating, etc etc. Been all over almost every inch of the entire western united states. We spent an inordinate amount of time on the Lake Powell reservoir. Practically grew up on a boat really. My life now is very sedentary and considerably much more boring than it used to be lol. But this channel brings back a lot of good memories and has got me yearning for that kind of lifestyle again. Anyways, thank yall for sharing your lives with us! :)

Oh, yes, keep reading the naughty and nice comments! It's fun t hear and this first nice one was a heart-tugger! I also want to affirm your choice of dill! It is so underrated and underappreciated, and one of my favorites! I grow it and dry it in my dehydrator, and it has even better flavor than what I can buy in the store. My husband adds a little to bread dough, and even though it isn't "dill bread" and you don't even know it's there, the bread just isn't the same without it.

Just a note.... I agree painting is 90% or more prep and 10% or less painting.... When I painted my truck.... it was three weeks of prep and 45 minutes of painting... not including the primer/sand, primer/sand, and primer/sand in the paint time... of course it is just more prep....

Love the Total Tread! Been using on my boat for approximately 8 years. I am just now getting ready to redo it after baking in the Texas sun for so many years. I used their grey and white mixed 50/50 to give it a bit of color. The areas I did white stayed quite a bit cooler. Thank you Delos for so many years of entertainment.

There are periods of her not being able to interact with other children but think of the memories she can look back on when you are both old and grey. Wow, that last bit was a slight downer but I'm sure you know what I mean. Reading the posts could inject more humour although we usually get plenty. I do miss the Brian and Brady double act but we can't have everything.

I've just started watching this channel and I love the videos. I've watched several, even some really old ones. I enjoy seeing the progress over time and the changes to the crew. Very cool vlog and vibe. My wife and I have been talking about doing this very same thing on a 10 years plan to buy a sailboat and explore the world with our children. I'm very interested to continue watching and see how you grow and adapt to the growing needs of such a young child. Such a wonderful channel to find and subscribe to.

Quick tip about bikrs for kids. Don't have them use training wheel, they don't help learning to lean. Get them a balance bike, or just remove the pedals and lower the seat. That way they learn to control the bike and the transition to pedal is super easy for them.

"Naughty & Nice"- I actually like Brian's reaction to them more than the comments themselves! Hahaha- now, all comments will be over the top tho! What a lovely Nugget beach, and- it had trees! That Mahi looked friggin' awesome, my mouth was watering in anticipation! That's why I liked the San Blas so much- anywhere you dropped anchor had a Nugget style beach, palms & a great place to make dinner. Very relaxing for those of us still doing the daily grind- Thanks a bunch Delos family! Can't wait for Costa Rica- but, taint that in the Hurricane zone? I live my dill, so here is a great dill tip for you. Use dill seed(grind it for more flavor). The seed gives you way more flavor and will last longer. Happy cooking😁

Yep I like it , the truth is not to be critical as I love your whole family but it’s a bet like life everywhere and the nauty fun has been missing but mostly that was always Brady’s side and Brian is the captain 24 / 7 and that is your job nothing but respect for that, myself I couldn’t sleep at night with anyone not serious piloting the boat and Brady’s brotherly love could never let you down and when he was running the show while nugget was being born that left and kinda never came back the trade in some ways is worth it see the nugget growing up and all

Bri, maate 1 Al doesn’t absorb heat to make it feel hot, it is an excellent conductor of heat which is why it feels hot and 2. Al reacts with oxygen in the atmosphere almost instantly otherwise it would require coating like ferrous metals. All you’re doing when prepping Al in the fashion mentioned is preparing a new Aluminium oxide layer for good paint/epoxy adhesion as opposed to chalky old Al2O3 👍

My only advice is treasure every moment, they grow so fast, mine range between thirteen and forty five now, the older ones are cool and think I'm okay, but the teens and early twenties still think I'm a knob. I suppose it's their job. They're lovely, but I miss the innocence of their early years when dragging a palm frond was a major event! Love every bit of the Delos Adventure.

Seeing Panama through your videos has been a blast. Especially enjoyed watching this episode as we are anchored in the beautiful North Channel of Lake Huron on our own floating home. Hope you keep sailing and sharing, what began as a welcome distraction during covid lockdown has become our favourite program. Sharing comments is a great addition.

Man I love yall's channel. It has really become sort of a comfort zone for me. It reminds me so much of the first half of my life. We were a very outdoorsy, almost nomadic sort of family. We were constantly camping, hunting, fishing, boating, etc etc. Been all over almost every inch of the entire western united states. We spent an inordinate amount of time on the Lake Powell reservoir. Practically grew up on a boat really. My life now is very sedentary and considerably much more boring than it used to be lol. But this channel brings back a lot of good memories and has got me yearning for that kind of lifestyle again. Anyways, thank yall for sharing your lives with us! :)

I also want to affirm your choice of dill! It is so underrated and underappreciated, and one of my favorites! I grow it and dry it in my dehydrator, and it has even better flavor than what I can buy in the store. My husband adds a little to bread dough, and even though it isn't "dill bread" and you don't even know it's there, the bread just isn't the same without it.

Just a note.... I agree painting is 90% or more prep and 10% or less painting.... When I painted my truck.... it was three weeks of prep and 45 minutes of painting... not including the primer/sand, primer/sand, and primer/sand in the paint time... of course it is just more prep....

Love the Total Tread! Been using on my boat for approximately 8 years. I am just now getting ready to redo it after baking in the Texas sun for so many years. I used their grey and white mixed 50/50 to give it a bit of color. The areas I did white stayed quite a bit cooler. Thank you Delos for so many years of entertainment.

There are periods of her not being able to interact with other children but think of the memories she can look back on when you are both old and grey. Wow, that last bit was a slight downer but I'm sure you know what I mean. Reading the posts could inject more humour although we usually get plenty. I do miss the Brian and Brady double act but we can't have everything.

I've just started watching this channel and I love the videos. I've watched several, even some really old ones. I enjoy seeing the progress over time and the changes to the crew. Very cool vlog and vibe. My wife and I have been talking about doing this very same thing on a 10 years plan to buy a sailboat and explore the world with our children. I'm very interested to continue watching and see how you grow and adapt to the growing needs of such a young child. Such a wonderful channel to find and subscribe to.

We have one of those wine openers. It works great! What an amazing adventure you guys are on.
Quick tip about bikrs for kids. Don't have them use training wheel, they don't help learning to lean. Get them a balance bike, or just remove the pedals and lower the seat. That way they learn to control the bike and the transition to pedal is super easy for them.
I’m thinking SVDELOS needs it’s own spice brand and you can start with the “SVDILLOS” for Brian’s Mahi-mahi recipe!!!

The naughty and nice comments is a great idea. It's a great way to put a positive spin on a negative comment if you will because you get to have fun with it and share it. That to me helps to not take them personally.

"Naughty & Nice"- I actually like Brian's reaction to them more than the comments themselves! Hahaha- now, all comments will be over the top tho! What a lovely Nugget beach, and- it had trees! That Mahi looked friggin' awesome, my mouth was watering in anticipation! That's why I liked the San Blas so much- anywhere you dropped anchor had a Nugget style beach, palms & a great place to make dinner. Very relaxing for those of us still doing the daily grind- Thanks a bunch Delos family! Can't wait for Costa Rica- but, taint that in the Hurricane zone? Just wondering what happens to insurance for those travel days through it? Call, you know how I worry kids!

I live my dill, so here is a great dill tip for you. Use dill seed(grind it for more flavor). The seed gives you way more flavor and will last longer. Happy cooking😁

Yep I like it , the truth is not to be critical as I love your whole family but it’s a bet like life everywhere and the nauty fun has been missing but mostly that was always Brady’s side and Brian is the captain 24 / 7 and that is your job nothing but respect for that, myself I couldn’t sleep at night with anyone not serious piloting the boat and Brady’s brotherly love could never let you down and when he was running the show while nugget was being born that left and kinda never came back the trade in some ways is worth it see the nugget growing up and all

Bri, maate 1 Al doesn’t absorb heat to make it feel hot, it is an excellent conductor of heat which is why it feels hot and 2. Al reacts with oxygen in the atmosphere almost instantly otherwise it would require coating like ferrous metals. All you’re doing when prepping Al in the fashion mentioned is preparing a new Aluminium oxide layer for good paint/epoxy adhesion as opposed to chalky old Al2O3 👍
