The capless gas fill. They are absolutely terrible. After a recent rain I opened the fuel door and observed water pooled on top of the trap door. I had to blot it out with a dry paper towel trying not to push against the trap door. There is no telling how much water has penetrated the trap door.

I'll give 5K OTD for this POS. The motor will blow since the 6.2L and 5.3L lifters have issues.

Don't buy yet. I bought my 2020 Silverado 1500 for 39k. Leather, Moonroof, 4X4, Power running boards, V8, Crew-Cab. These new trucks are WAY WAY over priced by at least 25 to 30,000. Let some of these dealers start closing for not selling at a fair price. Then we will start buying. Maybe.

It’s not the dealers fault. They’re not innocent, but they don’t have the power to reduce prices by $25,000+. The manufacturer sets MSRP and invoice. At full price dealers typically make sub 10% on the vehicle itself. Sure, 8ish percent is great but it doesn’t make a $70,000 truck $45,000.

@@BadoreksDailys it’s not the dealers fault are you kidding me? On top of the over inflated prices the dealers are adding 7-8 $9000 above that on their addendum. What are you talking about? The dealers are just as greedy as the manufacturer that’s why I will not be buying any new vehicle for some time. They Stop making affordable cars and kept building high profit trucks and SUVs. Go look at Ford ram and Chevy. They are stacked to the Wazoo with so many trucks unsold. Let the dealers go out of business. We the people are tired of this crap.

Where on earth do you live that trucks are over MSRP? There's not a single truck in my area for sale is anywhere NEAR MSRP much less over. In fact it's common to see trucks with $15,000+ off. Again, I'm not claiming dealers are innocent by any stretch. There's plenty of bad ones just like any business. However, wishing that MILLIONS of Americans become unemployed so you can deal directly with the GIGANTIC international mega corporations is ridiculous. I'll GLADLY support a locally owned company any day of the week. The major manufacturers do NOT care about you at all. Vehicles will NOT be any cheaper to buy directly from them, so if I can support a local business that employs HUNDREDS of the people in my community for nearly the same price I will gladly do so. Just to say it again, there's plenty of shady dealerships out there. There's also plenty of good ones, just like there's terrible McDonalds locations and good ones. You clearly don't understand the auto industry if you think dealerships are the major problem here.
