    Hey, I made one for my nephew for Christmas, and he loved it. Took me over four hours to make, but it was worth it. Thanks for the inspiration.

    A orbital sander works great with 220 grit paper makes it smooth as glass great video

      William Moore the base is a dually rim, plate the vise is mounted to is just 1/4”

    How did you cut the shoes so they fit like that ? I cut them in the middle of the shoe and the don’t line up like you have. Thanks

    A coarse wire wheel will get the same level of cleanliness and save ya some time.

    i think tig is very easy. i learned with tig. and dont like any other. its so much cleaner. plus you can do aluminum.

      Ok, my son is trying to make this for mom & can't figure out the crossing, I think he's making it more difficult than what it is

      nathan pope he may want to try tracing a horseshoe on a piece of paper then cutting it up to find what works for him.
