These homes to me are over priced at $200,000 and you don’t even own the land and on top of $200,000 you have to pay $700 a month to keep your house there it just does not make any sense to me. I drove into this place and the homes are right next to each other. The lots are 25x25.
How much is the lot lease which includes cable, water, garbage and yard maintenance? Pool maintenance and clubhouse extra? Residents pay their own electricity or gas? Any shaded garage space? How close is closest grocery store? How close to Biltmore? Do you have a neighborhood newsletter? Avg summer and winter temperatures? Much snow and is that taken care of in lot maintenance fee? Garages? Golf carts in neighborhood? Thanks

Hi Rebel....agreed. The whole idea of living simply...is to NOT have a huge outlay of money and minimal rent. $700 a month...might as well have a mortgage.
Janie, Simple Life communities are not age restricted; everyone is welcome! Golf carts are also welcome. Are people of color allowed to live here? I’m a single woman of color looking to find a nice tiny home community such as this. But so far all the people in the video are Caucasian. It looks very inviting.
I looking into this myself and wondered what the home turnaround rate is, whether the lease raises annually and do they allow the homes to serve as Airbnb's. That would be a deal breaker for me. I have heard too many stories about questionable neighbors in some of these communities.
This what I am looking for....hopeful, we would be stop by, and look around.. What a ideal! thank you for sharing
I'm 60 and still work, driving CDL-A for a large Gas company...I can see doing this...and ultimately retiring by 2028-30 in such a space.

Utterly overpriced for all but those who are rich.
I agree. Tiny home prices have skyrocketed. No longer affordable for everyone.

Do they rent a lot for permanent term?
I want to own my land. I don’t want to pay monthly rent. If you have a home in the woods there is no lot maintenance
