Why is that? Zoning laws affect where you can live in a tiny home, for instance, tiny houses on wheels and those on foundations are different. A tiny home on wheels and not a permanent foundation are often classified as RVs, so that zoning would regulate where you could live in it. In some areas of North Carolina, tiny homes can be built on a foundation to NC Residential Code, making them habitable as primary dwelling or Accessory Dwelling Units.
