The tone is so good - "Kid, I get this is a big deal, and I really wanna be nice....but it's been a day, and I need you to just give me the f'n chicken!" 😂😂😂
apart from Lost's definition of 42....'42' is the answer to life, the universe, and everything. Considering Desmond knows what's going on in the sideways world, that '42...'42, that's me brotha.' simply resonates. Because Desmond DOES know the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
In the serious epic the Odyssey, Odysseus, like Desmond, sails around the world to return to his beloved Penelope “Penny”. In this comical episode, Hurley finds the answer to life is fried chicken. The answer to Life and Lost, is either love or fried chicken (Best show ever!)
It makes you wonder what happened after Hurley began "helping Desmond get home" after "The End". Des visiting him first in the afterlife always interested me; he spoke to everyone as if he knew them, but his stature around Hurley seems different.
Probably because he was so hopeful then. The first try, 'n' all that. After that, it becomes more and more of a chore, even though he still has his hopes high.
Maybe Hurley found out about the story of the Elisabeth boat (which Desmond must have used to get off the island after the finale), and Desmond found out about the connection to Libby, and thus chose the two of them as the first people to awaken
@jmj540 That's so cool. Which "bit" of the Geeks' is your favorite? I personally love the one where they show Bill being picked last in PE, and then he prank calls the teacher, and it's the funniest thing ever.
That is basically pre afterlife “they” built for themselves to find and meet each other before moving on to the real afterlife together. I think hurley built this matrixesque reality by using the island’s powers.
DESMOND is by far the coolest man ever caught on film
Sawyer way better

Didn't know afterlife Desmond was kinda sexist...
Eugeniya Leshenko so it’s sexist if he says all women are crazy but women can say men are trash with no repercussions
Oh for fuck's sake...
Blah blah..
We all go a little crazy sometimes
He’s right though.
Some women go crazy because of a throwaway line in a TV show.
There’s a reason ‘gay’ means happy.
