My young son and I bonded over Lost recently. We were both saddened when it was all over because it was over. It was a special show that will always live in our hearts.
Nice! Early this year I rewatched all the seasons again within a time span of three weeks. I just couldn't stop. I loved how each character had an in-depth background story, how their lives were intertwined (often without even knowing it), the dialogues, the returning sentences and all the mystery. Lost was special.

I just finished my umpteenth rewatch - this time, with my partner. The show is not just a show I watch, it's an experience I gift myself with almost yearly. Each time, I identify differently with each character, their development, their growth, or their redemption story. I don't understand everything about the show, even after so many rewatches. It's not about solving every mystery of the island. Each time, I gather something new. My takeaways are not about what I learn from the show, it's what I learn about myself. Lost, is that place where I think we wish we could all go at some point; a place where we could all have a fresh start. Lost is my island. And almost yearly, "We have to go back!"
It was amazing, a few friends and I would meet up at our apartments/houses to watch it every Wednesday and it was the highlight of my week! So much has changed since then with the streaming takeover and being able to watch an entire season of a show over a weekend instead of week by week over eight or nine months.
Possibly the best show ever put on TV. It's name is true in another way too: If you missed an episode you could usually catch up with the next one. But if you missed more than one episode then you were truly lost. So many twists and turns. The final episode, I have to admit, I did not get the first time around. But when I watched it the second time, it clicked. I love how some characters, like Ben, were only supposed to be in one or two episodes, but the actors did such a great job that the writers found ways to keep them in the story. I still say that "Lost" is one of the greatest shows ever put on television. Period. I binge watch it every few years so I can experience it all over again. It helps if you can forget certain things and then be surprised when you see them... Were all questions answered? Absolutely not. But man, such a great ride. If you don't "get" the final episode, I recommend watching it a few times with closed captions on because most of your questions about what's going on are answered. I remember an interviewer saying to Damon Lindelof (one of the creators of the show) something along the lines of "I was disappointed to find out that they were all dead the whole time" to which Damon said, "What? That's not what's going on. You should watch it again. All of those people lived on that island and did all of those things!" It just shows how easy it is to misunderstand it. It can be complicated.
The writers themselves admitted they weren't going anywhere with the script and story and didn't intent to tie everything up. The few things that were explained in the end would be better if they weren't.

I could legit watch a 2 hour documentary style movie of Jorge just telling Lost stories, love this dude 🤙🏻
This is awesome. I've always wanted "some freaking answers!" dude, and it's even better that it's coming from one of my favorite characters in the show. Can't wait to see more!
The part with the van definitely looked so fun to film ❤ yay!! Happy anniversary everybody
20 years on......im going to binge watch it again for the memories!
Hurly was _the best_ character on the show, and the VW Bus ride scene was one of my favorite scenes from the entire series. The joy and exhileration of Hurly, Sawyer, Charlie and Jin was truly palpable, and watching it was just _so rewarding!_
I wish more UA-cam react channels would react to this series. Was such a treasure
There are quite a few channels that reacted to it already or are in the process of reacting to it.
I'm currently watching Elie Moses react to it. He's been doing an episode a day.
Looks like it's picking up again. Some channels recently started, others are at a slow pace, but there are new reactions out there.
Greatest show of all time.
Wow wow wow We miss u ! We miss the best tv show that was the mother of actual tv shows! This is so good to see ❤
Jorge is very underrated. He’s such a chill and funny dude.
Hey! We’re big fans of your channel! 🎥 Your trailers and movie breakdowns always get us hyped. Keep the cinematic magic going, you’re doing an awesome job! 🌟 Can’t wait to see more!
I watched lost 3x ... love Hurley... also freckles and sawyer.... my favorite....... watching fr Philippines, mabuhay!!!
They should do a sequel with Jorge being the new "Jacob" of a new cast. With a new problem with the island to fix.
I WOULD PASS AWAYYY
Waste of money. Will never happen.
With Hugo in charge, there would be no problems. His arc of "bad luck" is broken, Hugo's life is redeemed, and there it is.
Such a lovable actor, playing such a lovable character. This was great.
LOST is still one of the best tv shows 😎
And Hurley was my favorite character😊
Happy 20th anniversary lost! What a fantastic show. I've just found it on Netflix it's great other people will get to see what a brilliant series this was.
They could definitely bring it back showing Hurley and Ben's reign.
As strange as the show got towards the end, the writing and cliff hangers in this show were amazing.
i revisit the show every few years and it still holds up. its amazing
Watch it chronologically if you can. Awesome way to watch it, they’re torrents so downloading is needed.
@@Peterpeterpumpkineater1000 what? i own the box set. the entire show is also on netflix in my region. no need to go take that path
@@GoxBoy that’s very cool, I have it on Hulu. But this puts the show chronologically. So the 70s time traveling comes first, then storyline character flash backs, then the crash on the island. Of course there’s “no need”…just a mere suggestion. Have an awesome day!
@@Peterpeterpumpkineater1000 i had no idea this is what you meant. i will certainly try to do that. :)
