Hensche Color Study, Color Harmony, and Half Tone in Oil Paint: A live class demonstration

I decided to frame you over my shoulder while I introduce the principles of Hensche Color Studies and show you how to apply them to your own paintings during a live class.
Hensche Color Studies were developed by Henry Hensche, an American painter who studied under Charles W. Hawthorne. These studies involve using a limited subject matter, such as painting blocks, to explore the harmonization of color relationships and the concept of half-tone in color.
In this demo, I begin to introduce the process of creating a Hensche Color Study using painting blocks. You'll learn how to analyze and harmonize the colors in your painting, creating a sense of unity and balance that brings your subject to life.
