love this sculpture! and also thanks for being so human, most artist on medias these days don't show any of the mistakes or anything like that, but you show all your thoughts and feelings while you sculpt and as an artist seeing that I'm not the only one who has those issues and mistakes is really inspiring!
Thank youuu. I appreciate your comment so much. I think the mistakes and changes we make to our art is the most interesting part, and I'm glad to see I'm not alone. Thank you again :)
Art... I don't care if it takes you 3 or 4 months to put out a video, it's a small price for us as viewers to pay. This masterpiece is incredible! You truly are an inspiration, in both your skill and your execution. Thank you for being so transparent in your videos, it's important to see that art isn't all smiles and happy feelings; it CAN be stressful, and draining, and demoralizing, but the immense joy that you feel when you break through the other side ( like you did yourself with this one 21:12 ) makes it completely worth it! Love you, love your videos, love love LOVE your work. Can not wait to see more!
Aww thank you. I appreciate your kind words. Yeah, the struggle is the most interesting thing about making art to me for sure. Hopefully they're not all going to take 3-4 months though lol. There are some kinds of practice that requires making more pieces rather than one big one.
@@ArtChongArt You also beat yourself up a lot. Your work is amazing I don't often like channels like this but I love this one. Your work is amazing and idk if it changed in the newer videos but you have to have a little more Faith in yourself. Your work is wonderful, it is not selfish for you want to like you art the most so long as you are enjoying yourself and you are happy with what you made that is more then enough I am just glad you share it with all of us too.
If it's any consolation, I clicked on the thumbnail because the Tentacles looked more interesting than what you know from nature. The hard work paid off!
My goodness, i'm frustrated i can only give one thumbs up... this deserves thousands and thousands of thumbs up. You are so good in showing movement in your sculptures... unbelievable ❤❤❤
So grateful for you demonstrating and not editing out the frustrations. I’m on like round 4 of sculpting a series of anatomy studies after months and months of finessing and really feel for you with where I’m at. You’re heroic for not hiding the set backs.
Thank you Emily (again, haha) Yeah I find the setbacks to be the most interesting part of making art in general. I can definitely relate to your finessing anatomy studies trying to get it right 😭😭
Every time I see that look on your face it lifts my heart. I felt it most particularly in your very personal sculpture, both in your face and the face (and eyes) of your figure, but I love seeing it because it says, "My God, I've done it" and I'm so happy for you when I see and feel that. And then after, boom, you need a good rest and sound sleep. Yep, been there, just not via sculpting. Bravo.
Man, you are amazing. This sculpture turned out to be amazing. Seeing your thought process, your struggle and overcome is wonderful. Thank you for putting out this amazing content! Keep at it, I love your work !
Oh, I felt this one deep in my soul. I draw, mainly comics and stuff. I hate doing backgrounds, most of the time. I remember this real elaborate cityscape I did once, and I had to voice my frustration to my art teacher at the time. He asked me "If it's so hard, and if you don't even like doing it, then why are you doing it?" I sighed and answered: "Because it has to BE that way." He just nodded and approved. He'd heard that before. For what it is worth, I found your work here inspiring, and it came out looking fantastic! Even more so when you showed the labour that went into it!
Holy Moses. Its only taken about 5 years to find a sculptor who describes their process and creative decisions in real time while doing the work but I'm so glad that I've finally got here. This video is amazing. Thanks for posting it.
So grateful for not only an amazing piece of Lovecraftian madness, but also for all the generosity around the struggles of creating over such a long period of time. The real talk is sooo refreshing!
7:10 i absolutely love this breakdown 😂 not only is it amusing, it's also really helpful to see the more human thought process that goes into ambitious works like this. it's not all formal training and technical knowledge. it's also the rule of cool! and i appreciate that
Hats off to you good sir! you may say it's a silly idea but that finished sculpture is truly amazing! Thank you for sharing, your knowledge and skills are very inspiring.
I'm speechless... I cant find words.. I'm.. uh .... holy . . . .. ...wow... man you have no idea how I'm in tears writing this wishing million times that I was rich and could have this in my room... I always tried to be sculpture.. tried mini stuff... but since I live somewhere that I cant find any good material or any needed material at all for what I want to do watching someone like you making such magnificent work just gives me the satisfaction... man I always was a huge lovecraft fan since I was little seeing these kind of artworks is pure joy to me... bravooo!!! I'm so happy you didnt give up on it
I love the movement in your sculptures. I love your creative thought process and then the final result. Steam punk.....lol...Victorian Steam punk....that's what I was thinking when you said Victorian.... Great work!!!!
This one is particularly good. I skipped right to the reveal, and you can instantly read the story behind the piece, you know exactly what happened. The sense of movement and speed is incredibly well communicated.
Aaaah it looks so amazing, really love how dynamic your art is. Don't be so hard on yourself though, showing the struggles and thought that goes into it all is incredibly helpful and don't we all struggle with our creative work? Even though most don't show that part much. ❤️ Now I feel like eating ice cream, dunno why!
Thank you so much Cindy!! I'm so glad you like it :) Yeah, the struggle is the point for me, I suppose. I just wanna keep pushing myself, you know? There's always ice cream to make me feel better lol
Oh thank you so much Alex. If you felt like it, sharing the video(s) in your social media would be a great help. But just watching is also a huge support. Thanks again!!
I think it's also good to color sculptures for your UA-cam success. UA-cam is absolutely watched by young people. They show higher ratings on colorful sculptures. good luck
Your sister's video attempting to sculpture ลูกชุบ brought me here! But I wasn't expecting something this amazing. How about a colab with her doing some freaky ลูกชุบ? 555
This was amazing to watch. You really are an artist in every sense. I think a nice idea would have also been: - guy 1 gets slammed into the ground, leaving a perfectly humanoid imprint - guy 2 takes selfies while the tentacles sling a chair at him - girl yells at the tentacles coming out of the ground while one of them snatches her wallet But you are the sculptor here, and i absolutly admire it. Edit: this could be something straight out of a bloodborne parody
I know this is old and this sculpture was probably not financially worth the time but this sculpture is so epic. I absolutely love it! If you could ever do another like this maybe just a little bit in your spare time I'd be here for it. P.S. Please paint it!😅
Art; ' I just can't not do an ambitious sculpt...' . Words to live by in all forms of art .. in fact most things in life. If you're not pushing past your imagined boundaries how do ever find what your real boundaries are. I love this video .. not just for the sculpt alone and your incredible imagination and skill ... But mainly for how your burning passion, motivation makes me feel uplifted and ready to achieve. Exceptional sculpt, exceptional video.
this is incredible, as always your sense of motion is impeccable, it really looks like someone hit pause. going the extra mile always pays off, no matter how much of a pain it is! there's so much to look at, you really know how to bring your ideas to life. also, don't be so hard on yourself! you don't have to justify what you want to make, nor beat yourself up for not immediately figuring out what was off on something you'd been staring at for hours! its okay!
I said it before and I'll say it again, I just LOVE how I get to see the thought process, shows how all those finished beautiful sculptures we see in museums and such don't just happen like. Makes me appreciate art so much more!
Your work is absolutely amazing!! It's also so exciting to see the finished sculpture and your reactions are priceless! I wish I could become a great artist like you! I love your character designs, the story you are trying to tell and how lifelike they look! Love love LOVE your work!!

If not you should!!! Love all of your work so far Art, keep up the great work and keep those videos coming out so my wife and I can every minute.
This is the most meaningful piece of art in the world! To many of us, it's art at it's purest because it came from a passionate artist who followed through. Super lovely!
Welp, you got me! Subbed! It's so rare to find a traditional sculptor these days, what with the magic of the digital medium floating around. I must confess, I'm on the cusp of exploring this, but I'm so incredibly lazy that I can't bring myself to learn it. First world problems, I know. Haha. I've recently discovered the world of table top miniatures, and I think that's what I'd like to channel my energy into. I love the concept of making sculptures that people are supposed to interact with, and not just place them on a shelf somewhere and throw a thumbs up at them every once and a while, you know? Anyway, thank you SO MUCH, for sharing your work and thoughts with us! You're very, very skilled, and one day, I hope to be as well. :) Thank you once again, and God bless!
I think this is insane! How big it is and all the different parts has opened my mind for sure. I’m about to start getting into this stuff and you’re one of the first channels I’ve found. Subscribed dude, amazing work
Dude, I really feel the way you make these videos. I mean besides of the pure skill and willpower to do these awesome sculptures, you really put a lot of work in your video production. Really, really admire the content and I feel the good way of being jealous. The way that motivates me so thanks for that too.

I sure wish you lived close by I would love to stop by and offer a hand I would love to learn to make things like this. The movement in your sculpts are awesome. Thank you for putting these out for us to see. Can't wait for the next one.
This is amazing and i loved seeing your process for it! I think the issue you had with the summoner's pose being on the wrong legs is that the 'opposite leg to arm' rule is specifically for making characters feel like they're balancing their body weight even in motion -> ofc you wanted her to feel *unbalanced* instead!
Its very...very....very!!!! NICE.....!!! Keep on doing more i enjoyed that way you frustrates and then got happier in the end. Im impress.... Im glad to saw your videos...im glad i can do that ways...soon!!!🤭🤭
I love, love, love, love your work and I think you are also a very passionated person. Your sculptures are full of expressions, details and they can tell many stories. It's fabulous and blows my mind how far you can go with the details. But I was wondering if you also could work on something as powerful, as magical, as empowering, as inspirational and less demonic and less horrific. We are going to crazy times and I would love to see something more uplifting and more gracious, "celebrational". Well I don't know if any of that makes sense, either way your work is phenomenal and definitely out of this world. All the best
you've really outdone yourself with this one! I know from experience how hellish these giant pieces can be. it's so inspiring seeing the whole process and watching you push through the frustration to get to that incredible payoff. keep up the great work!
Your sister brought me here (since the Q&A video) and I subscribed immediately! Now I'm anticipating your videos even more lol! Enjoying every second of it!
Amazing work, as always. I was really feeling bad for when you were struggling with the massive time/effort cost. However, I hope you feel it's worth it in retrospect, because your audience loves it!
Love your ideas and putting them into a physical art form. Would love you to answer a question from one sculptor to another. When designing and putting all it all together, how do you stop yourself from being overwhelmed with so much to focus and do. Also what do you listen to? Music or podcast ect…… thank you very much your very inspirational 😊
Again, LOVED the video. Dude, you are so good at this, and seeing the ups and downs of the process make it much more special. Heres an idea: next video would be nice if you told us more about yourself, do you do this for a hobby, do you work in this area? When did you start? Show us those beautifull babies you have on your shelves. Cheers!
Thank you :) I’ll get to those questions in video at some point I’m sure… but probably not the sculptures on the shelf. Most of them are very bad lol. I’m not kidding. Most of them aren’t even finished.
Art,you are spectacular mate, that was….do you know what mate, words are to cheap to describe for me what I’ve just witnessed you creating, you should be up there with Leo da Vinci, just stunning your work, you are my inspiration mate, seriously 😁👏👏👏👍👌
The most lovecraftian thing about this sculpture is how it made you go insane and yet you couldn't let it go

Amazing work, as always. I was really feeling bad for when you were struggling with the massive time/effort cost. However, I hope you feel it's worth it in retrospect, because your audience loves it!
Thank you for your sympathy 😭😭😭 I do think it was worth it :)
Next time, use Patreon to fund your ice cream breaks, lol. (Jk)
Been loving the sculpts man!! Love all the inspiration for my own art/sculpting! These vids need more views, likes and shares. -Feed the algorithm-
Haha if only I could just tell UA-cam to suggest it to more people 😭😭
Again, LOVED the video.
